Astrology basics - each of these occur once every 29 years or so (one year for each day of the lunar cycle): New moon -> sun conjunct moon Full moon -> sun opposing moon Waxing quarter moon -> sun square moon with moon applying to full moon position Waning quarter moon -> sun square moon with moon applying to new moon position Not finding much information on this, though I'm sure we've covered it before over the years. My husband and I just had a pr comp new moon back in October, @ 20 Sag. I'll talk about that in a minute. === 29-ish years ago, we had a pr new moon @ 20 Scorpio, exact on my true NN. The new moon was exactly conjunct Venus @ 20 Scorpio, also conjunct Neptune @ 21 Scorpio. I was just a kid and there is no way I could have known him; but how strange, that was our first pr comp new moon. The MC of this chart is @ 0° Taurus, exactly conjunct the transiting sun. MC exactly squares Mars @ 0° Leo on my Saturn (yup....lots of waiting.) === So this new moon now @ 20° Sag is our first pr comp new moon as a couple, and nothing happened yet (knock on wood). The new moon square pr comp Pluto @ 21 Virgo and @23 Virgo Uranus. These are Uranian-Plutonian times for sure; but does having a pr new moon squaring Uranus-Pluto say something about this whole cycle, for the next 29 years? (Does it say anything about the relationship overall, too, if this is one of our major milestones? Possibly the only one we'll ever have as a couple?) Transiting Venus was @ 21 Virgo when this lunation happened, maybe that factors into the longer-term relevance of the chart? (If there is any?) Mercury's exactly on the IC @ 29 Scorpio, we're crisis-minded and fortifying the home accordingly (working towards solar panels, improving the garden, and so on.) Pls don't quote

Ava I do not really have answers, but very interesting that you`ve had just a new Moon. Well New Moons are "invisible moons", usually while there is something new starting, it is not visible at that point, or will just start grow and becme visible a bit later, and only then you will be able to see what and how it started at the New Moon, when you could not yet foresee it. On the other hand P`and me had a pr fullmoon last year. January 2019. Still not a clue what that meant. lol There was nothing too important right on the fullmoon-timing (I think he was in the southern SEa or something. lol), but curiously enough about half a year before and half a year past it, there were interesting times.

Thanks lumina . That does make sense, the new moon is the nascent phase and we don't know all it foretells (?). Full moon gives a more complete picture. On what degree is the pr comp moon w/ P from last year? Is its location descriptive? In yet another why-is-my-life-like-this coincidence, after posting this thread last night I routinely checked the pr comp lunations with my ex. Unbelievably, they are happening at the same degrees as the lunations with my husband. Thus, my pr comp full moon with my ex was @ 20 Gemini (sun @ 20 Sag of course...see significance above). I don't have his birth time but that's the degree of the full moon regardless (checked 12 am and 11:59 pm, just to be sure.) The new moon preceding that was @ 5 Sag on my 6 Sag Venus (using his nodal chart). That was leading to a full moon in which we would be married to other people and not talking. And who would I be married to? The guy with whom I have a new moon @ 20 Sag. ^ I don't know how to describe it clearly. 20 Sag sun/20 Gem moon pr comp full moon with ex 20 Sag sun and moon, pr comp new moon w/ husband 20 Sag, transiting mean south node as I write this. I like tunneling into the degrees, mixing and matching. So you see, nodes are a family thing, nodes and lunations make eclipses, which are a supernatural thing. My father's true south node was 20 Sag. My composite sun with him was 5 Sag, exactly squaring the NN @ 5 Virgo. Just weird that in these major relationships, the lunations pick up that 20 Scorpio (my NN)/ 5 Sag (my Venus) /20 Sag pattern. Next lunation around 4-5 Cap (new moon w/ ex, full moon w/ husband) and that's my husband's ASC-DSC axis. There's even more to this but I'm sparing you, you get the point, strange things are afoot at the Circle K. Pls don't quote

that is all so interesting, but I will have to reread it when it is less busy here. Well you mentioning the coinciding lunar phases reminded me of P`s wife`s pr Moon being conjunct mine. And also I was looking up something about the Italian, cause I think I remembered something. I did not find it, however I realized that on my birthday his pr Moon will be exactly conjunct his natal Saturn on 00 Aqua.
On his birthday his pr Moon will be on 2 Aqua conjunct pr Saturn on 3 Aqua.
and my Solar Return has Saturn on 0 Aqua and Moon on 2 Aqua, just thought that was curious.
Even curioser his Solar Return of next year (feb 21) will have ASC on 6 Cancer, putting my natal Venus and composite ASC right on the DESC (both on 6 Cap, and composite NN on 4 Cap). this is even funnier to me, as the next Solar return of mine, from dec. 21 will feature ASC on 6 Cancer.
So basically that means from late december 21 until about 10th february 22 the Italian and me will have BOTH Solar ASC on 6 Cancer. How funny astrology is!

. Full moon gives a more complete picture. On what degree is the pr comp moon w/ P from last year? Is its location descriptive? The fullmoon happened with Sun on 8 Aqua and Moon on 8 Leo - yes I know on YOUR horizon. lol
not sure how descriptive that was, but just this recent october (but over 18 months after the fullmoon happening) his pr Sun was/ is conjunct my pr true Lilith on 8 Aquarius (it was exact in october, but is still in orb of course, It was exact to 2-3 minutes or so during the last Zoom meeting actually. interesting. He`s probably scared of me. ROFL)
Anyway curiously enough our progressed Draco composite Sun has just entered 22 Cancer and applies to a f ullmoon across dimensions with our composite Moon on 22 Cap (will be exact next august/ september) and at that time make a T-square with pr Draco Mars on 22-23 Aries, opposing natal tropical Mars on 23 Libra. I wonder which of us will survive this archetypical battle. LOL Just kidding!

It is crazy, Ava , with the overlapping New and Full Moons (and also the other occurrences) but this in particular, it almost seems to speall that an ending/ culmination had to occur with your Ex, to make way for the new begin with your husband.
BTW P`s and my last pr new Moon happened a year before I consciously took notice of him (I am not sure, it might be we have crossed paths before, but I do not recall consciously), actually it was when he career startet and he started dating the longterm gf of before. lol
that pr New Moon was conjunt his natal Venus by one degree. Well we did not know each other then.
The first quarter Moon happened in may 2012 (just 10 days or so before he first sang that song publicly, you know which one), it was with Sun on 2 Aqua square Moon on 2 Taurus (Sun was conjunct natal c omposite ASC, and actually when we firs tmet some years prior I had that exact first square in my own progressed chart. lol he had that 1st quarter square in the beginning of 2016, Sun on 3 Aqua - Moon on 3 Taurus - interesting times. lol)
The last quarter square will happen in october 2026, with Sun on 16 Aqua and Moon on 16 Scorpio (so basically putting pr composite Sun in partile applying orb with my natal Moon, while the pr Moon will be exact conjunct our composite MC)
Well like usually my own last quarter Square will happen a few years prior to this, and in fact it is right around the corner, will happen next year.
On the other hand the Italian and me had the last quarter square just last year in october, pr composite Sun on 00 Pisces, pr composite Moon on 00 Sag
(also realized that the progressed composite had Moon conjunct Uranus on 7 Sag (may 20) and Moon conjunct MC (july 20) - interesting timing.

Thanks lumina . Well 8° Leo, that's Harry Potter's sun, so to add context, you are each individually working along those lines lately? One does have to strain their talents to make it through a time like this. I like that transdimensional approach (fits with what I just wrote). I've also been checking these pr comp lunations in draconic and found a lot of weird stuff, again just looking at those same two relationships. Well in draconic, I have a Sag ASC. Chart ruler Jupiter is in Leo, disposited by Taurus sun, disposited by Aries Venus which is exactly conjunct my tropical Jupiter. My draco Aries Venus is in mutual reception with draco Libra Mars. What is your point, Ava?
My draconic sun is part of a dispositor loop that's romantic (Venus/Mars) and dramatic (Jupiter). So I think it's cool, my draconic pr comp new moon w/ ex will be exactly conjunct my natal draconic sun. Not that we'll talk...but I mark these points out in time and space, and they seem retroactively significant. All these lunation degrees seem significant. The pattern I mention above, starting on my NN and skip-counting by 15° (approx distance between new and full moons) continues to 5° Aquarius, right on my Mercury. Then 20° Aqua, exactly squaring my nodes. 5° Pisces on my draconic IC. 20° Pisces, near my moon. I won't live long enough to experience these unless I'm a cyborg, but the pattern intrigues me. Then I thought, where else might lunations occur, that would hit my chart that strongly? This pattern catches my moon, Mercury, Venus, and nodes...not bad. If I start at my Pluto, 11° Libra, the next will be @ 26° Libra on my IC and draconic Mars (and family members' Libra stuff concentrated there), then 11 Scorpio, 26 Scorpio (near my daughter's sun), 11 Sag, 26 Sag (your sun). Well that seems more of a relational pattern, hitting others' suns, fitting for Libra (my Pluto, the start-point). Just musing, giving an example. My conjecture is, different patterns may create different "themes." Well even if it's not objectively true, nothing stops me from interpreting things with that bias. Sometimes an artificial sense of order is better than no order at all, right? (Transiting sun, Neptune, NN t-square is completed only by Virgo energy now.) Pls don't quote

luminaA few more replies: "it was exact in october, but is still in orb of course, It was exact to 2-3 minutes or so during the last Zoom meeting actually. interesting. He`s probably scared of me. ROFL)" LOL, he didn't act like it.... "It is crazy, Ava , with the overlapping New and Full Moons (and also the other occurrences) but this in particular, it almost seems to speall that an ending/ culmination had to occur with your Ex, to make way for the new begin with your husband." Yes but of course that flips with the next lunation. Thing is, this last lunation @ 20 Sag/Gemini squares my ex's sun, like no wonder if it wasn't his cup of tea. "that pr New Moon was conjunt his natal Venus by one degree. Well we did not know each other then." It's still interesting. I think my pr new moon was @ 10 Aqua; happened around the time I got married and links to the wedding timing and groom. "The first quarter Moon happened in may 2012 (just 10 days or so before he first sang that song publicly, you know which one), it was with Sun on 2 Aqua square Moon on 2 Taurus (Sun was conjunct natal c omposite ASC, and actually when we firs tmet some years prior I had that exact first square in my own progressed chart. lol he had that 1st quarter square in the beginning of 2016, Sun on 3 Aqua - Moon on 3 Taurus - interesting times. lol)" You're laughing but isn't that cool? All of it. "The last quarter square will happen in october 2026, with Sun on 16 Aqua and Moon on 16 Scorpio (so basically putting pr composite Sun in partile applying orb with my natal Moon, while the pr Moon will be exact conjunct our composite MC)" Sun on your natal moon, I think it's fascinating. "On the other hand the Italian and me had the last quarter square just last year in october, pr composite Sun on 00 Pisces, pr composite Moon on 00 Sag" So the new moon will be, sun around 15 Pisces, your Jupiter, Juno, Ceres?

Ava actually this is sort of curious. My last fullmoon with the Italian took place in august 2012 (6 years before we even crossed paths. lol) Sun: 23°29 Aqua (conj. Juno 24°55 Aqua) Moon: 23°29 Leo sextile/ trine Saturn 23°20 Sag semisextile / quinkunx Mars 23°37 Pisces and Vesta 23°49 Pisces Next New Moon with P will happen on 5th november 2034 - while this is ridiculously far into the future, and by then we probably won`t even remember each other anymore, what a hilarious coincidence that our pr composite New Moon will happen on the day he got married! (but a few years prior. lol) Anyway Sun and Moon: 24°48 Aqua (conjunct natal composite Psyche, and both natal Psyches) - conjunct Merucry: 24°53 Aqua (my own progressed Mercury is there now) sextile my name: 25°20 Aries semisextile Vesta on 22°24 Pisces and Venus on 26°55 Pisces - while I would deem those too wide usually and well, semisextiles, lol, it just struck me that it is a mid-degree- aspect, aspecting the midpoint of Venus-Vesta, and it also struck me, how a) the fullmoon with the Italian was aspecting MARS and Vesta and b) doing so basically at the same locations in the zodiac. Interesting. and so hilarious and yet puzzling, but the same axis is emphasized here, almost like in your case! but of course those lunations happen over 20 years off each other. and I did not k now the Italian then, and who knows if I miguht even still know P by the time of our New Moon. (well I certainly will remember him, but possibly he might not, I mean this is like 14 years in the future or something. ) Still this fascinates me.

Ava!"LOL, he didn't act like it.... " Well he seemed intrigued (and yet at the same time a little... concerned. lol) with me mentioning that there are certain narcotics given for surgeries, that will induce "erotic dreams" in the patients, and usually those patients will talk within their "sleep" (my aunt is a nurse and she told us that just recently). WEll as I said he seemed intrigued and a little like: "Awesome. I gotta have some of that stuff." and then at the same time: "Oh God, what did I mutter that I don`t remember when waking up from my surgeries? What did the doctors/ nurses hear? Oh well they are bound by their oath of silence, thank God!" It was an amusing 5 minutes in the zoom meeting (and he started it, by saying that doing an audio play and having to act as if you have been running, have you hyperventilating and then starting to utter silly stuff, an doften bring up those "dreams that weren`t allowed to live". It is actually textbook Lilith-stuff! LOL Even the dream/ erotic nightmare/subconscious/taboo-ish stuff! LOL (NOt sure why I was mentioning this, I mean I was not saying much on my own accord during that gathering, most of the time, he told me to say something about certain topics, but there I had to chime in. lol These Aqua progressions will be my ruin, I swear. I mean i tseems they have me blurt out that stuff, just for information value. lol and then when it is out of my mouth, it is lingering in the air, and looks/ sounds funny, somehow.) "It's still interesting. I think my pr new moon was @ 10 Aqua; happened around the time I got married and links to the wedding timing and groom. " Wow, on your DESC? HOw much more textbook can things get? ?? "You're laughing but isn't that cool? All of it. " Yeah it is.
