glaucus . thank you for the good astro news! Very interesting too! The electoral system in the US is flawed allowing people like Trump to be elected even though more people vote for the other side. If T gets elected again, surely a change in the system is called for.

Ava , the QAnon beliefs in a deep state conspiracy to take over the world plus many democrats being paedophiles is quite absurd. There are many things hugely wrong without adding a layer of deep dark mysterious goings-on.

Waiting for election results = watching paint dry
Here's an incisive and sharp article on Trump's manoeuvrings: www.nytimes.com/2020/11/04/opinion/trump-biden-election-2020.html?action=click&module=Opinion&pgtype=Homepage" We have just experienced four years of the most divisive and dishonest presidency in American history, which attacked the twin pillars of our democracy — truth and trust. Trump did not spend a single day of his term trying to be president of all the people, and he broke rules and trashed norms in ways that no president ever dared —......."
Also this - " Democrats need to address the sense of humiliation felt by working people who feel the economy has left them behind and that credentialed elites look down on them." - Bernie Sanders would have done that well.

Ah, Biden has just won Michigan and it looks like a good end is close.
Unfortunately, it needed a pandemic for many Americans to see through the nonsense that is Trump.

I looked at Trump's Saturn transits from Cosmobiological perspective which is strongly midpoint-focused. I use the Sidereal Zodiac with Fagan Bradley ayamansha. Trump's Saturn transits from October to November. I am looking at transits that occurring during Election Day and a few days after. They are in chronological order. They are entering to exact. I listed no separating I use an orb of 1 degree for conjunction, opposition, and square.
TR Saturn oppose NA Node/Asc - the feeling of oppression or suppression in the presence of other people. Inhibitions with regard to social contacts, sometimes leading a person into life of seclusion and separation from other people. Mourning and bereavement. enter - Oct 7, 2020 exact - Nov 4, 2020
TR Saturn square NA Moon/Asc - Inhibitions in contact with other persons, the state of being depresse in the presence of others. - Union with others through joint or common suffering, separation from relations or from the female sex. enter - Oct 16, 2020 exact - Nov 7, 2020
TR Saturn oppose NA Venus - difficulties in love-life, scenes of jealousy, the stage of sobering down again, separation in love enter - Oct 21, 2020 exact - Nov 10, 2020
TR Saturn oppose NA Sun/Asc - Inhibitions, shyness, difficult attainment of recognition. - Difficulties in public life. The sharing of suffering together with others, separations. enter - Nov 5, 2020 exact - Nov 19, 2020
Cosmobiologists also look at transiting Saturn midpoint in conjunction, opposition to natal midpoints. David Cochrane uses this technique, and he thought it was very helpful in seeing his time with COVID-19. He refers to midpoint-midpoint conjunction, oppositions as Isosceles Trapezoids (IsoTrap) I used an orb of 30 minutes of arc just entering and exact the natal midpoints are only midpoints that involve Sun, Moon, Ascendant, Midheaven, Mercury, Venus, Mars as part of the midpoint
TR Saturn/Pluto oppose NA Mars/Node hard labor; cruelty (Saturn/Pluto) affecting collaboration and cooperation, union based on physical attraction alone (Mars/Node) enter - Oct 27, 2020 exact - Nov 10, 2020
TR Saturn/Pluto oppose NA Uranus/Asc hard labor; cruelty (Saturn/Pluto) affecting a quick response to the influence of the environment enter - Oct 31, 2020 exact - Nov 13, 2020
Both TR Saturn oppose NA Venus and TR Saturn/Pluto oppose NA Mars/Node are exact on November 10th which is the day before Veteran's Day

Is it just me or are there others checking on election results, particularly following changes in Georgia and Nevada throughout the day? The fact that Biden may win is making me feel generally optimistic - a sense of sanity and hope will return. It might put the breaks on mad leaders such as Bolsanaro, Erdogan and Modi if fascism is no longer in fashion.

It was mainly the Republicans who forbade counting of mailed-in ballots before election day. These had to wait for the election day counting. That was a stupid decision in the first instance. And now extra care is being because of Trump's accusations, which has made it slower.

I’m happy today, because it looks like Biden has won. He may not be able to make everything okay, but damn it, for all of the people out there who voted for Trump, even more want him OUT. They want him gone. I don’t understand the anger about democrats most likely winning, because of that.
Rick Santorum said that we should give trump and his supporters time, we should think about their feelings. Remember “Trump 2016 F*ck your feelings!” ?! I do. We were special snowflakes who couldn’t handle reality, or lose graciously. What was that disease they diagnosed us with? Trump derangement syndrome?
Last night, at least one person was arrested for planning to storm the area where votes are being counted in Philadelphia, with a gun. A Facebook group was closed down, of people who wanted to stop the “theft” of the election (and I still love that my auto-correct changed that to “ejection”). “Protesters” with guns were threatening those counting the votes in Arizona. I read about more people having to evacuate another building. This is nuts! This is dangerous. A local man posted on the nextdoor app that we are approaching our bloodiest time in history. This is in my neighbourhood. All of these threats, Steve Bannon saying that Christopher Wray and Fauci should be beheaded, and their heads should be on spikes as a warning to others. This is the insanity that the rest of us are rejecting. Can you imagine four more years of this? Trump was going for even more - he kept saying things like “twelve more years” because he’d been bothered by things like impeachment, and the democrats needed to pay. His cult followers are all for it.

And now extra care is being because of Trump's accusations, which has made it slower. Yes, they have done everything they can to suppress the Democrat’s votes. We also wouldn’t have done so well, most likely, without Stacey Abrams, the supporters of John Lewis (whom trump insulted), John McCain supporters (Trump hated him, and made it known). The Native Americans in Arizona area are apparently owed our thanks, too. Then we have his terrible response to covid. In Ohio, I was emailed about a new total abortion ban they’re trying to push. The Supreme Court now has two stolen seats, and one that was an obvious maneuver to get more seats for Trump and things like overturning the ACA and Roe vs. Wade.

Nothing will ever be perfect, but people aren't just going to let Biden chill and do nothing. I do worry that the extreme supporters/those who want violence, are going to find another way to rally. This country is in serious trouble, because we had this many people vote for Trump and everything that he stands for.

This is why conspiracy theories are dangerous. I remember that guy who went to a pizza shop with a gun, because he thought that pizzagate was real. Pizzagate is real, but guns aren't going to stop the problem, only awareness will, and that's never going to happen.

Pizzagate is real, but guns aren't going to stop the problem, only awareness will, and that's never going to happen. Pizzagate isn't real. There are sex traffickers out there, and Ohio has apparently had a big problem with it (a state that's usually red). Why are Democrats the only ones accused? Do you know what it's like to have a stranger infer that you eat babies and worship Satan, because you're a liberal? It's unsettling, because they actually believed it.

You asked why the Dems are accused, it's because of the Clintons/Podestas. I couldn't care less about party politics but as I was saying on another thread, the Dems have that baggage still because the evidence has been strong.
As with so many areas of study, most people won't dirty their hands with it. We are conditioned to refrain from investigation. We're called horrible names even by our own friends and family, if we research and discuss our findings.
Do you know what it's like having close friends complaining bitterly about conspiracy theorists...and me having to say, "If you feel that way, cut me off" ? Knowing, they never even bother to research anything at all?

Both sides of the political spectrum are guilty of cutting ties with family and friends just for having different opinions on politics. On the other side of the Atlantic, here in the UK, it is the leftist followers and establishment that call their opponents horrible names and call for a sort of "culling" of the Tories. I have first hand experience of that, just so you know.
Whoever wins, I hope we can all learn from the last four years. Trump didn't cause division, it was the people who decided to take umbridge with absolutely everything from there on out. I can understand why Trump would have caused anger and disbelief but it seems like people just closed their ears and their minds from the get go after that. Everyone has just been spewing into an echo chamber and getting more and more disgruntled. So lets not do that again although I bet no one will. We're going backwards as a society, not forwards.
But also, about pizzagate and the Dems being accused of such and such, Biden is a poor choice for trying to get rid of that image as well. As far as I know, he's known as Creepy Uncle Joe is he not?

Hello, my dears! Congratulations, you guys!!!!!!!!!
Now, this is an unusual transit to have, tNeptune conj IC in Biden's chart, what do you think about it? He does have Neptune in the 10th and is heavy Scorpio/12th but still...
I am very happy! haha I even went to LL to remember that for us it is like a cycle ending, another one beginning. Sending you all hugs and love! <3

Wow! Thank god theyve decided at last haha!
I can't help but look at tr.Moon conjunct his n.Pluto and wonder what he is thinking now... I feel like this will have brought back memories regarding the first family had that was tragically killed.
I do think also that the media is going to portray him as a mega martyr for a long time to come now (NEP in 10th). Part of this may come from his past, but it may be that his health is challenged significantly now. Neptune is really straddling his IC-MC axis at this point in time. It will be hard to judge him and develop opinions about him for most people I think. Having retrograde Pluto and Jupiter in the 8th natally, opposing tr. JU-PL-SA is going to be interesting too. He may have fine ideas about the economy and what to do with it, but it will be difficult to put into action. The nation will need firm structures now to get through this pandemic more than anything. He will be challenged by his own liberal economic policies, I think.
