Hi
lumina ,
I would have to do some research to try and create a readable, worthwhile post. Much better if you can just find an article by Pam Crane explaining all we should know?
Basically, I use 12 pm if I have no time, I assume that's standard practice. So there are many noon charts in my astrodatabank. Some of these are striking on their own, like my mother has NN exact on the ASC and Saturn exact on the DSC at noon, with an MC @ 7 Leo, which is my rectified ASC.
Many of the noon charts also create coherent composite charts, with planets falling exactly on the angles. For example, my parents' comp MC exactly conjunct Neptune, using his known birth time and her noon chart.
I will try and find more examples later.

My noon chart is very close to a sun-conjunct-midheaven chart. The noon chart features MC @ 14 Cap conjunct 15 Cap sun, with the ASC @ 25 Aries conjunct 23 Aries Chiron. So they are in paran relationship, or however you phrase that (parans).
My rectified MC is 25 or 26 Aries, so to have the noon ASC there is cool....a reiteration.
23-27 Aries is a kind of interdimensional zone for me; key placements show up there in my tropical, noon tropical, draconic, helio, and sidereal charts. It is the only area of the zodiac that I can say this about.
When I was looking to see what Pam Crane wrote about sun-MC, I found this:
Sorry that is somewhat off topic, but not really for me, because I have:
23.35 Aries, noon tropical Chiron
25.47 Aries, noon tropical ASC25.35 Aries, sidereal south node
26.06 Aries, rectified tropical MC
23.47 Aries, draconic Neptune (mean node)
23.50 Aries, helio Mercury
26.38 Aries, helio Chiron
27.28 Aries, helio Jupiter
(Draco Mars in Libra opposes all this, btw)
I guess my tropical chart is dominant. Even if I didn't have a rectified MC at 26 Aries, the noon chart ASC is there, the sun-MC chart's ASC is there. Many people born the same day/year as me, at least in the Western hemisphere, will have the noon ASC in late Aries, picking up all those other planets and the sidereal SN there.
The sun was in Capricorn but the noon ASC gives a clue that the energy was concentrated or overlapping elsewhere.
