I renewed my interest in astrology about 7 years ago after going through some pretty rough things in my life. Since then, I've noticed that each year, as Saturn moves to it's furthest point before it turns Rx, problems seem to become seemingly overwhelming. Then, as it slows to it's station, I start to see light at the end of the tunnel. As it actually turns retrograde, it feels like progress can ac6 be made. This continues through the retrograde and into the first part of the direct motion, then the cycle repeats.
I have Saturn stationed and about to move Rx natally. For anyone else with Saturn Rx, do you experience it this way? For those with Saturn direct, is it the opposite for you?

Interesting, geminiblues. Let me test. Natally I have 0° Leo Saturn, Rx. I was looking at this list: www.astropro.com/features/tables/geo/sa-sta/sa-sta09.htmlIt seems there were break-ups, deaths, low points more often in the Saturn direct times, with exceptions being my Saturn Return, and tr Saturn hitting my natal sun-Jupiter-Pluto t-square. And maybe something else I missed (imperfect memory). I'd like to hope this next Rx cycle will make things easier but it's also my Saturn half-return, so not a fair test. Saturn was Rx when my father died but it didn't hit me emotionally until 6 months later, around the time Saturn had just turned direct again. Hmmm

I've also noticed particularly rough times while Saturn is moving through it's opposition sign and when it hits my ascendant. My first Saturn return was pretty smooth, except for a breakup. My second is coming up in a couple years though, so we'll see...
