following the trend let us figure out the Gemini people too (either gender)
Since I recently also have new/old experiences with a Gemini guy here is what I (think) has worked in capturing his heart.
- being a good listener first but also being able to carry a good conversation, changing the subject swiftly, keeping the conversation fun and witty but at the same time I saw that being a good listener is what they crave and want
- not trying to pin them down into a box, there is no 1 box for a Gemini, they are multiple boxes at once and they would not last long in a box even if you manage to push them into one.
- since they can lack stable energy they (I think) do get attracted to someone opposite who is the safe harbor and the stable energy for them to come to and rest besides, talk about their adventures to them
- sex is important and making it spicy, new, willing to be adventurous is a big plus
- wanting to go on their wild adventures with them is a huge plus, not just listening to what they have been to, but I saw that letting them do the adventure on their own AND wanting to go on some with them is what they crave, they like talking what they went through to you but also sharing the fun with you and having the memories with you. So I would say both is very important to them.
- well it may depend on how evolved they are but I noticed the older they get the more they like the safe harbor feeling, I get a sense like they one day wanna be old grandad who captures the grandchildren around them to tell them about their life
- well this is just what I noticed and this is for a male Gemini but I have noticed they like the woman to be feminine, sweet and kind. I have noticed this particular Gemini has been attracted to the opposite of him so a bit of a shy/sweet/kind
- I do believe the giving them space thing actually does work as they will crave the sweet energy after the crazy energy they give out all day.

Their Mars sign matters a lot. One could argue that's the case with any guy, but I want to make a special mention of it here. It's true that they like people who can keep up a good conversation with them. Chemistry will get your foot in the door for sure. They have a reputation for being flighty or fickle or whatever, but they're actually very considerate and will go out of their way to include you in their life.
Being mutable *and* ruled by Mercury makes them willing and able to adapt to any partner. Not threatened by a woman's intelligence or independence. He'll admire you all the more for it. "Playing dumb" doesn't work. It helps if you're a good listener too - he'll have plenty of interests. Gemini mars men can talk up a storm while trying to court you. Gemini sun - yes them too, but not always.
They do have a lot of that restless mercurial energy. Tend to get along with Virgo-types, I've noticed. They understand each other's "type" of anxiety, I suppose.

I've noticed that I always tend to woo Gemini men when I don't care and the stakes are low - I feel like they can sniff out this energy like a bloodhound and go after it with an abandon. I believe they like to win people over with the sheer magnetism of their charm, and all the better if their subject is "indifferent" in the beginning. They like people that are genuinely hard to get, not those who play hard to get. Being labeled as a "maneater" or a "heartbreaker" is a delightful challenge to them and it won't deter them from courting you, whereas a lot of other signs would back down at the thought. Absolutely, they LOVE conversation - my GOD they will never shut up, and they'll flit around from topic to topic like a bee pollinating a field of flowers. This is like foreplay to them. They also love it when you can sense patterns in conversation and then change the topic according to that. Let's say you're talking about a University location, both of you start talking about the map of that location, suddenly you guys start talking about maps, the conversation turns into weird maps throughout the world, then you both start talking about Rome and how bizarrely that city is organized, then the topic goes to the ancient world since that's where Rome's landscape was organized, then you start talking about how the worst pizza you ever had was in Rome but the best when you ever had was in London, so and and so forth.. They don't really give a shit about physical beauty the way Capricorn worships at the altar of beauty. They care about spunk, moxie, having a fun attitude. They like "rare" people - people who effortlessly embody contradictions, like a lawyer with a spontaneous side, like a socialite who drinks Four Loko in a black silk dress, etc. Btw 12YearsABlob I await the day you make a thread about Gemini Mars with Ava , that would be a fascinating read! |

In the experience I have, not sure about the blonde thing, could be.
I am not blonde lol so don't know, but the Gemini told me he likes it when the girl looks natural, least make up possible
and he said he hates anything fake from personality to plastic surgery.
He even said when he searches for porn or hot girls he does not like the fake ones with implants and whatever, he went to my bathroom took a look at the make up and asked " You don't wear that much don't you?" and I really do not.

So, I'll try to separate out things like my Leo moon, cancer Venus, and taurus Mars and focus on the Gemini parts...
To start with the general. Information is our currency. We give it away generously, but expect a return on it. God put us on Earth to distribute it. Hermes was the messenger of the gods, after all. In that role, we are often able to adapt to many different social situations and move between classes of society. Travel is also a component of this role, though not to the extent of Sagittarius.
So, some thoughts...
Freedom... You can't monopolize us. We have to be free to talk to people. Expecting us to ignore other women means cutting us off from half of the people on the planet. Yes, Gemini are as susceptible to infidelity as any other sign, but there are some if us that are as monogamous as they come, and plenty more that will simply move on rather than trying to stay in a relationship that no longer meets their needs.
Interest... Don't be boring! Our appetite for knowledge is a drive as strong as other's appetites for food or sex. If we don't have something for our minds to digest, we get cranky.
Rudeness... Well, many gemini I know are actually rather crass, but it's our calling to learn how to fit into all those different roles. Sometimes, being rude *is* fitting into a role, and we adapt. Define the situation in other terms and we adapt.
Information is conveyed in many different forms. We'll deal in trivia and gossip if that's the coin of the realm, but art, music, math, body language, poetry, etc are all good too.
While we must be free to move around, a good home base to return to is vital. We need someplace neutral and safe to think about what we've learned.
A Gemini's mental health is tied to the health of his car. Maybe his physical health too.
Does your gemini man have a book collection? Look at it. It will tell you about him. If he's read it, he wants to share that knowledge with you.
We're all cute little boys, even at the age of 92. Bob Hope is the example here, and Paul McCartney as well.

Also, I one read something saying that Gemini expects you to not be jealous of their exes, but will be gealous of yours. First, Gemini has *always* read something about anything somewhere, and second, at least the first half is true. I value friendships of exes.

I'll just sum it up because cba typing it again:
I tend to attract Gemini energy and they tell me its because I am a good listener.
They will talk about themselves non stop if they have luminaries in Leo/Aqua/Cancer~usually a mixture of these signs together.
Most are honest about how they feel about you though, they like to explain their feelings, or they tell you pretty quickly whether they are attracted to you if that's the sort of relationship developing. They always said straight away if they thought I was pretty or something.
It depends though. Different cultures might have influenced this too though. Some of the aforementioned were from southern europe, so that might have also influenced the level of confidence in some of the guys.
Gem girls are very sweet!

Sorry, I posted and then I realised I didn't answer the question.
I think to attract a Gemini, you definitely have to be a good listener and seem really interested in them. Ask questions and seem engaged. Also laugh a lot at their jokes- a genuine laugh though, not just chuckling at things they say. I always laugh my head off talking to Gems, and you can see they're really flattered with a response like that ^_^

Gems obviously need stimulations but not all of them are intelligent. The needs for stimulations dont equate high IQ, so many of them just want drama. They like to stir up the pot, do something just to see how you react. For fun. Not in the Aries, i butt-head with you kinda way, more like they took pictures of you drinking alcohol and send to your mother who is a devout Catholic or something like that. Something mischievous and sneaky. Many gem smoke cigarettes to calm their overactive minds, many are good at stealing, cheating, scamming. Impulse-control problem - like ADD, kleptomania, etc is a Gem problem, not Aries btw. I actually met a Gem who used to steal and sell drugs and was in juvenile jail before turning his life around. Now speaking of turning life around, Gems who can focus are extremely quick. They put 10 random dots into a story more quickly than you blink. They absorb information just as much as virgo, but they entertain all the logical possibilities as well as gaining further information by chatting people up, so they just tend to have a fuller picture. If they are at their best, that is lol. The worse gems are paralyzed by their own brains, many think they are smarter than others, and since they can never organize things, they tend to lose touch with reality. Any gem planet, including rising, mars in an otherwise heavy water/earth will make the person seek out intellectual stimulations and would never be satisfied with something ordinary. Libra and Aquarius will date ppl who make great companions. Gem needs to be stimulated, so even if you are a good partner/friend but you're predictable, they'll get bored and move on. As athena said, they are turned on by ppl who are combinations of different things. Similar to virgo, they dont want to put your stories together in 5 minutes. Similar to virgo, gems are never afraid of the dark or anything. They also want you to hit the nail on the head btw ... so they want a high level of accuracy, especially in terms of communications. This doesn't mean, like Scorp/Cap/Aqua, you are supposed to communicate accurately; more like you are supposed to get what they are saying even though their dictions can be muddy and their sentences feel like a never-ending train of words. The smart Gem can do several things at once and can master them all. They are pretty non-judgmental, compared to Libra and Aquarius; they might need stimulations in the long run but they go boy-crazy/girl-crazy pretty quickly. In the Tarot, Gem is represented by the Lovers - not Libra. I never saw anyone drools over a stranger faster than a gem. But obviously, they drop ppl just as fast ... Sometimes I think Gems are overwhelmed by their own brain they have to look to others for direction. Once they are into something, they are quick learners, they are accurate, they are a lot of fun and they love to test themselves in different scenarios. When they haven't found what they like though, they tend to see if someone else is doing something that they can join for a moment. They are not reflective of themselves like Libra or Aquarius, probably because the other two signs are where the sun is at fall or in detriment. Geminis can be very petty. They see things in tiny details and they see you and your bickering comments about them in high resolution too. They will hit below the belly and never feel bad about it. They will power trip you more than a scorpio or capricorn care to do (tho when these two signs do it, you really are dead). They will be very very petty when they don't get what they want from you. There is this sense of entitlement about Gems because they think of themselves as so damn intelligent.

I do confess that I have a certain affection for Gemini energy. It's because of my Gemini in the 5th House (I also have Mercury in my 7th, so it's an energy I'm definitely attracted to and surround myself with). The sign on your 5th House is how you feel at heart and, in many ways, I do feel quite Gemini-like in my essence. I'm not as scattered as them but I can keep up with their scattered energy very well. I had a best friend for a long time with Gemini Mars. We could talk on the phone for literally two hours and she should switch from one topic to the next so quickly (she also had three planets in Aries, including her Sun, haha) but I always kept up with her very well. Also, another good friend of mine is a Gemini Rising and he's the same way. For a second or two, I think, "wait, what are we talking about again?" But, I find it endearing, for some reason.
I'm a very good listener and very curious about people. I think that's really what it takes for people with Gemini planets. Follow their train of thought and show genuine interest in the conversation and what they're saying. Sometimes, you just have to let them talk and get it all out because they don't even know what they're saying, half the time. They tend to process things out loud. But, you also need to be able to hold your own. Be witty and quick, have some interesting facts to tell them that they didn't know, keep the conversation flowing yourself by bringing up something else interesting.
Also, I do think you need to be rather contradictory or complex to keep their interest. If it's too easy to figure you out, their attention can move elsewhere. In my experience, Gemini Suns and Moons aren't exactly the compulsive talkers (unless they are heavily Gemini-influenced). They're just the dual-natured, paradoxical, hard-to-pin-down types. Full of opposite traits. Again, I feel so much like that myself so I really relate to them. They get a bad rap but it's just because they dare to act on all of their contradictions in a way that many people, who want to be considered "good" people or want to maintain a certain image, don't do. They're like Leo people in a way because they need full self-expression but not creatively and passionately like Leo. More so in the sense of fully expressing all of the viewpoints and selves within themselves. Yet, Gemini is such a young sign, so they don't have a lot of control over all of that energy. What can seem like flaky or untrustworthy or flippant behavior is more so all of those inner voices and ideas coming to the surface. They don't necessarily mean any harm, although they, of course, definitely can do it just to stir things up.

In my experience, a lot of times they are sitting there absorbing information and more focused on learning and observing than speaking. If they have a stage/pulpit/podium, they can talk. Like Russell Brand. Or if you really do want to know their opinion, and they can tell you are earnest, they will elaborate, and sometimes that can get verbose because they are so intent on putting the whole picture across. I guess everything is relative...for Gemini Mars, Gem luminaries are on the quiet side. lol Oh no I know 2 gem mars... they do talk but at the right time. They have never gone on and on. Both have pisces moons tho ... The gem moons I know, not all of them talk non-stop. You do have to hit the right button or they have to feel comfortable with you. I know of this couple of gem moons and they would always go on and on nonstop with each other. And my complaint is just towards some of them. There is a gem sun/merc in cancer I know who goes on non-stop. I didn't encourage or anything. He also has a venus in leo, mars in virgo. So a lot of the talking is him puffing his chest for attention. Im heavy saturn, i dont appreciate people who try to process their stream of consciousness with me at all. That said gem moons are very funny people. Forgot to add that if you want to capture a gem's heart, you have to be larger than life and keep them on their toes. They are kinda like virgo and scorpio in that they want some level of mystery, but they also want to be inspired by you. |

just want to add my appreciation for some of the beautiful geminis out there, how fearless and equally fun they are, how they took me on adventures to see the world as is without the agenda to rise to the top or even this emotional tie to be their one and only. Just pure fun. No expectation. It is so easy to breathe around good gem. They are competitive without being abrasive, or hurtful. If you bring it, they'll bring it too.
