I'm referring in particular to a question being asked online to which two or three readers respond. The cards hardly ever match and the readings are generally quite different.
An example below for the question 'How would a relationship progress?'
1) Priestess, Knight of swords, 9 of cups clarified by 8 of cups
2) fool, 8 of pents, queen of wands, 8 of wands, hierophant
This makes me wonder if the cards are offering all possible scenarios to a question - as many things are possible.
Or could it be that some readers connect well with the question, while others don't?
Or are cards expressig the intelligence of the universe by connecting to the reader in a particular way in order to trigger their intuition/knowledge. This would accord the universe and cards with a magical ability to take all things into consideration and present themsives so as to offer the best answer. They/the universe could also be aware which readers would come online and how a particular reading would be positioned in relation to another.

I had one experience with a reading that a different set of card said exactly the same as LeeLoo said and nothing happened in real life. I do think that the cards help the reader to find the proper words to an answer. I guess everybody has a individual connection to the cards apart from the words that are found in a book.
