I think, though.......not to be a pain in the ass...but what you are talking about here is talking. We both have 8H moons. I have felt most understood in ways that don't really involve talking. Sometimes, but it's more energetic, I think. What I'm trying to get at is that communication alone is not what makes me feel emotionally fulfilled. Maybe for any other Gem Moon but not me; I could try opening up and talking about my problems to someone and even then, even if the person is trying to help and is getting what I am saying, I can still feel misunderstood and I will regret having opened up about it. I can more easily connect to others through sharing of our issues, which is a form of communication, but there's more to it than just talking about it; there's an underlying connection that has to be made, otherwise I will never feel understood by that person. I can communicate issues about myself with anyone if I really wanted to, but not anyone could make me feel like they understand me. I have to feel like you are getting me, you have to make me feel like you truly understand me otherwise I won't waste my time. My Gem Moon will want to be more willing to talk about problems on my plate with you if I do feel like you get me, but if I feel like you don't you won't hear anything period. Yep, me too.

I saw a book in the store the other night, something like "how to be a Hepburn, in a world of kardashians". It ticked me off, I almost took a picture of it, to post with, "or, how about you just be YOURSELF, instead of trying to be someone you're not?"

anelaI was just responding to Faith that one doesn't have to show their problems in order to appear deep. I wasn't commenting on any one individually

anela and Electro have their ASCs conjunct in Scorpio, with 8H moons conjunct in Gemini; both moons aspect Pluto. So, rather Plutonian Gem moons. Edit: If I could make a generalization about Gem moons....it's not that their feelings are shallow at all...moons never are. And this moon is prone to disturbance from an over-active mind; I think I saw a study saying Gem moon is most prone to depression. This touches on it: www.thoughtco.com/gemini-and-depression-206760But there's often a lot of things going on at once, a strong sense of humor, keen interest in entertainment, fantasy, or just being around lots of people (Mercury engagement).

Well Aquarius is just spot on.. also as someone drowning in Aries Moons, I don't think I've ever read a more accurate assessment of them. Anything that resembles "triumph" or "winning against all odds" in any facet of life really gets their eyes sparkling. Thanks, athena. Reading my Aqua moon description, I must've been thinking about my Aqua moon best friend and how she throws parties....she masterminds everything from the catering she does herself, to social dynamics, to gifts.... Yeah I think Aqua moons can be masterminds.

I envy Aqua Moons adept at socializing! Those that are good at it really have the potential to rule the world. The graceful Princess Diana comes to mind - an extroverted Aqua Mooner who was masterful at orchestrating the social dynamics around her
