Have you guys done this at all? I'm noticing some conjunctions already with odd asteroids, or other people's Western natal charts, which I find interesting. So far I've noticed that my Vedic Rahu is conjunct my Western asteroid Nemesis (uh...not sure what to make of that, since my Rahu is already in what is considered an unfavorable placement  ). My Vedic Saturn is conjunct my Western asteroid Karma (again, uhhh...) Vedic Sun conjunct Western Mercury. My Vedic Ascendant is conjunct my mom's Western Sun, and my oldest son's Western Ascendant. (That was confusing to type out.) I'm sure there's more, but I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed similar instances? I might think it's like comparing apples and oranges, but I still find it curious. |

I'm using normal (narrow) orbs, except for asteroid conjunctions. Most others are 2-3 degrees. That said, there are quite a few conjunctions from my Vedic to my Western... 🤔

Violets, Saturn conjunct Karma makes good snese to me. One could argue that the restrictions/ reflections that Saturn imposes could be the lessons we need to learn in this life - hence karmic. I have it too, although 2 degrees apart. Vedic to tropicalSun conjunct Mars/Wisdom Saturn conjunct Neptune (0), Karma/Sun (2) Vedic Dsc conjunct stellium of Vedic asteroids MC conjunct Kaali exact There are lots of very close conjunctions to other asteroids which is bound to happen.

Yes, it is comparing sidereal to tropical. robert Blashke mentions it, though the meaning depending on what author you read might vary (Blashke sees the sidereal - tropical combo as "completion of karmic contracts", while he sees the Draco-tropical one as "ongoing soulcontract").
And yes I´ve observed the overlays over and over again, but in my case my sidereal chart is nearly the same as my secondary chart (as coined by Tobey, not the progressed chart, but the chart that takes into account the interrelationship between Sun and ASC - and of course the planets).

in my own comparision of sidereal - tropical I find:
sidereal ASC on 13 Scorpio -
not conjunct anything major in my chart, however it is obvious how frequently this degree of Scorpio comes up in my event charts or composite or something like that. I do have the asteroid MOIRA and SIVA and LONDON nearby though, at 14 Scorpio.
the degree of 13 Scorpio is also on the antiscion of my tropical Moon on 17 Aquarius with an orb of 38 minutes)
The Sabian of my sidereal ASC being:
Telephone Lineman At Work Installling New Connections
and the sidreal DESC falling onto my trpical asteroid SPHINX exact
On The Beach, Children Play While Shellfish Grope At The Edge Of The Water
To me this is a Sabian of "playful curiosity and wonder", like you discover something you have never noticed before and get closer to have a look at it and explore the "new".

I find it interesting as this seems to connect to P`s tropical conjunction of Mars-Jupiter-Amor-his name, opposing his Eros-my name near my Jupiter
It`s his Mars that occupies the same degree as my sidereal MC, while the others are occupying nearby degrees.
It is also intriguing to me, as there is a strong emphasis on the IC-MC-axis throughout the different zodiacs. In plain tropical one it is certainly my Sun-MErcury falling onto his Sun-Moon-MC. In Draco chart, our MC-IC-axis is reversed and conjunct, along with his Draco Sun-Moon-MC and tropical Juno falling onto my Draco IC in Cancer, and my Draco Pluto-MC falling onto his Draco IC and tropical Venus.
And now in the siderealk - tropical comparision it is my Draco MC falling onto his tropical Mars-Jupiter. My sidereal Saturn is widely conjunct his tropical IC (4 degrees)
his sidereal MC-Sun-Moon falls onto my tropical Mars-ASC; in this case it is his sidereal Moon that occupies the same degree as my tropical Mars though (with an orb of 5 minutes). Interestingly Mars rules my IC.
interesting that we both have our tropical Marses on each other`s sidereal MC - and in both cases it is a partile conjunction with an orb under half a degree.

sidereal Sun-Mercury on tropical Amor in 12th house exact (and conjunct tropical Mars with about 3-4 degrees)
sidereal Vesta on tropical ASC on 7 Sag exact (and conjunct tropical Mars-Neptune-NN additionally).

Oh sidereal Moon on 23 Cap is conjunct my tropical Antivertex and Sun/Moon-mp by 2 degrees. though midpointwise it is closest to Mars/Jupiter (0°24), Ceres/ASC (0°17) and Jupiter/ASC(0°31)
