I have more to say...be back later. Please do I love to read about yods. As everybody in the FB group saw my Yod I will send it to you through a private message. I have never felt any adjustment. It was more that I forced to learn to get on a surfboard and wave through the various obstacles. What I do not think is that the inconjunct is definitely an overrated yet underestimated aspect.

"Waving through" is actually a wonderful description of the quinkunx.

I "like" this whole conversation. @ceri I'm loving your comments, but I don't know where I've been, because I don't see yods that often! Maybe yod people meet other yod people...but as a t-square person, I tend to meet more t-square people....? VioletsThank you for explaining your yod to me. I'm impressed with how much that makes sense! whisperixThanks for sending your chart along. I'm stupified by it. I need time to think, and I need to research yods more, then I will get back to you!

Ava: Well, now that you met me you have met a yod person. I do agree that I do attract yods and T-squares a lot. They seems to be in sync with me

Ava makes total sense to me, we might be drawn to a certain Kind of aspect figure. for me it seems to be that I have a lot of People in my life with whom I complete Yodfigures or T-square synastrically/ Composite. Also minor triangles come up for some weird reason.

Maybe since I'm a t-square person that energy feels right and attractive to me. Of course those relationships tend to be problematic, and often not even sustainable for long. I mean, what feels normal to me might feel unusually stressed to the other person.

I have T-Squares, but they manifest differently due to one of the planets involved being in a different nodality. Mars in Scorpio opposite Aries Saturn, both square Mercury and Neptune in Aquarius. I would include the Sun but Saturn is too far back in Aries.
I also have Mystic Rectangles. Sun opposite Midheaven with Moon opposite Pluto, Sun Trine Moon and Pluto Trine MC. Another one is the same except with Uranus instead of Sun. Without the MC they become Point of Thales.

Point of Thales aliceportman.com/point-of-thales/point-of-thales/In astrology this is an excellent configuration for the following reasons:
The opposition (180 degrees) can indicate tension with another, usually your marriage or business partner, sometimes a consultant or counselor, sometimes a rival; in fact anyone with whom you have a one to one focus. The aim is learn to negotiate with this person so as to be able to associate in a co-operative and mutually beneficial way. However the tensions generated by the opposition can make this quite difficult.
A trine (120 degrees) is an energy that is easy flowing and usually very harmonious. In relation to an opposition it can describe an inherent talent or ability that enables you to sort out the tensions engendered by the opposition and turn them into assets.
The sextile (60 degrees) is an aspect that gives skill in communication and networking. In relation to an opposition it gives the ability to explain what causes tension and discuss ways to resolve problems.
The planet that is the focus of the sextile and trine is the Point of Thales planet. It is a great asset in enabling you to use your opposition in a balanced, co-operative way that benefits all parties. Therefore the Point of Thales pattern in astrology can describe an excellent negotiator, or someone who is able to solve disputes and disagreements harmoniously.I guess my Mystic Rectangle is made of two of these. I still don't have a strong grasp on what my Mystic Rectangle does. I might cut and paste what Xiiro from LL said about it on another thread, to show how they can be interpreted. And to remind myself what it is.

Oh no, I don't think there's any way to go back and unquote someone on here, is there? Sorry, I get a little quote happy sometimes. :/ You can just edit your post. Hit on the BBCode and remove the portion

Also minor triangles come up for some weird reason. Just found this: YOD BY ASSOCIATION: THE COLLATERAL YOD EFFECT If you have a close friend or family member with a Yod, YOU MAY HAVE A YOD, TOO! This all-consuming configuration has a tractor effect involving not only the Yod Bearer, but also the people with whom she or he is closely associated. In other words, the intense energy of the Yod acts like a magnet, drawing others into its orb of influence. A good example of the Collateral Yod effect is the relationship between the Queen of England, Her Royal Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and her son, Crown Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales. Not only does Prince Charles have a Yod, so do his two sons, as did their late Mother, Princess Diana. When Prince Charles married Lady Diana in the wedding of the century on July 29, 1981, it activated both of their Yods like a time bomb. Diana’s king-maker Aquarius Jupiter Yod crossed swords with Charles’ power-loving Scorpio Sun-Chiron Yod, setting the stage for the marital battle of the century, as well as producing two Yod Bearer baby Princes.

@ceri and everyone else, what would be your interpretation of Kite in composite and grand cross in synastry? My husband and I have a kite in composite. I see it as very binding and possibly fated, but perhaps that depends on how the kite aspects your own natal chart. Grand cross synastry depends on the planets involved, too. Basically I read every situation a little differently, but the closer the orbs, the stronger the resonance. I think sometimes people don't even know WHAT they are feeling with pattern completion, it just stirs them up on a deeper level, and they get entranced and/or curious enough to linger around each other. In my case, in synastry: Mid-Cancer planets complete my sun-Jupiter-Pluto t-square. Depending on other factors I either feel empowered by their cooperation or totally disempowered, like they are my kryptonite. Astrologer Rick Levine has several overlapping t-squares with a mid-Cancer moon at the apex. He is my rock, in terms of horoscopes. Mid-Virgo planets complete my moon-Mars-Neptune t-square. This is one of my favorite decans of the zodiac. But planets here can offer me extremes of clarity or confusion. There is a point where sometimes things can be so clear that they are, in turn, confusing. Imagine "the thinning of the veils" in an office setting...what do you do now? Early Taurus planets complete my Mercury-Saturn-Uranus t-square. These people seem to want nothing to do with me. I hardly ever encounter people with planets in this range. See, it all depends on the planets.
