Hi
I hope this is the right place to post this.
I am curious to ask what in a chart and what to look for can show if and when someone may have children and marry?
I just read on another place that progression charts show this?
What should I look for to see these? Also What shows a possible when?
Thanks on any help.

@intuitivefish , as far as I know, western astrology isn't able to pinpoint times of marriages or offspring. Progressions can assist one in suggesting likely times for a marriage or partnerships to take place, but only in the hands of practised astrologers who have extrapolated which progressions are helpful through researching charts of married people. Vedic astrologers, on the other hand, seems to be better at predictions of this sort.
My parents consulted a vedic astrologer when I was in my teens and he accurately predicted my marriage age, that the man would have 3 siblings, that I would have two sons and that the first child would have a difficult birth!!
Would like to hear from others what they know of progressions in this regard.

For what it's worth, I got married and had kids while Pluto was transiting through my 5th house. A few other predictable transits I think, but I'll have to think about the others. But of course not everyone experiencing Pluto transiting through their 5th house will get married and have kids.

Lol. If it helps, I was in my thirties when I met my husband and had our oldest son, and I was 41 when I had our baby.

What about pregnancy?
What shows this in a chart?
Does anyone have personal experience of what was in their chart when they got pregnant?

The 5th House or it's ruler is often involved. But it is never Just one indicator. Several have to Point to this and even then you could give birth to something Else. Usually the indicator will Show Up in several ways, Progressions, outer planets transits, Solar Arc (P had his First son when Solar Arc Uranus was on his Natal moon, ruler of his 5th House)
Also Solar Return, i think i remember having Seen the Vertex and nodal axis playing some Role, too.
Mostly i think there should be a prominence of
Moon 5th House and it's ruler Nodal axis Angles in aspect to those mentioned objects

I was told once i would have twin boys and the father would be from foreign lands, this person had not seen my chart.
My 5th house ruler is neptune in sag in ny 2nd - and opposes my gemini moon in my 9th. My gemini moon squares my libra sun.
Also maybe the 4th house shows the conception?
My 5th and 4th houses are empty though ceres is in my 4th in aqua.
Pls dnt quote

In terms of composite, I tend to see moon Jupiter conjunction as a great indicator of the need for children.
Transit Jupiter to your sun is usually when you want to have children as well. Obviously 5th rulers and how everything else is aspected but my mother had my sibling when Jupiter opposed her Moon, and had me when Jupiter was on her sun. This couple I know didn't want children but the wife secretly wanted one so she stopped taking pills and a year later when leo Jupiter passed by her sun, she was pregnant. Mind you she is a cancer rising, with a stellium in libra.
Also if you think ppl marry those with charts touching theirs, when Jupiter is over the mother's sensitive points, it also triggers the father's planets too.

There are some indications in the natal chart, first, that point to the children. For example, in your case, the likelihood to have two children, and also a suggestion of boy and girl, coming from several markers such as 5th house containing Sun Moon Mercury in Pisces (yin and yang, dual sign), 5th house ruler Uranus in the 3rd Sag (siblings, dual sign), a resonance between 3rd and Mercury, Mars and Venus both on ASC. Then what I would do would be to check the progressions and transits, for me it works better under the form of a story, in order to grasp the possible timing for when one marries/has children. All markers, including the timing analysis shows "windows" for something to happen (like a biorhythm chart). When I say story, I mean that through progressions one can see the time windows for various events in someone's life, their chronology: first comes the meeting, then the marriage, then the children (well, sure, it could have a different chronology). And through the context of the story, it is possible to understand and decipher the possible timing for children. It's on a case by case basis, because it depends a lot on how your houses look and on the house rulers. Just like Ceri says, it's not just one marker, while there are universal markers like Moon, Saturn, Jupiter, 5th house, the answer will be given by taking the movement of the rulers into consideration.
With astrology, it is a fascinating, yet quite the complex analysis, to determine the correct timing of events. An event like this would appear in all derivative charts, once identified (SR, Solar Arc etc).

I may add that if you look at your own Jupiter, it usually aspects your mothered sun or moon. Hannah's Elsewhere on YouTube was born the same date as me and surprise surprise her mother is also a Virgo.
Also what's interesting is if you look at children in the same family, they tend to have planets in same elements.
My mother was born when Jupiter conjunct my grandmother's moon.
Saturn over the mother's moon or sun also cause someone to be more serious about taking on responsibility. So if you have Jupiter and Saturn aspect someone moon/sun and 5th ruler.... that's a pretty sure fire prediction.
Marriage is the same thing. Saturn over Venus, 7th ruler, 5th ruler. You can also look at transits and solar return chart together. Solar return shows a progression of your sun. You can read more about it but you can always tell where your sun progresses to next solar return.... unless you really travel just to get a different chart.

Jewel Mayberry talks about Mars-Venus conjunct in the solar return, or in the same house, as something potent possibly pushing towards marriage.
My husband's SR for the year we got together and engaged has Venus & Mars conjunct in Cancer, less than 3° orb; their midpoint opposes my sun.
My SR for that year has Venus & Mars in Aquarius, both in the 3H; their midpoint opposes his sun.

Ava , wow what a double whammy!!!!!! Fascinating. Well I don`t have a conjunction this year in my Solar Return but Venus and Mars both in Aquarius (Venus on 11 Aqua, Mars on 28 Aqua, the midpoint being on 19 Aquarius) I found that funny/ curious too as this year I also have pr Mars conjunct natal Venus - but no steamy romance so far. lol the conjunction int he progression will be exact in november I think, it is now 9 minutes applying.
