Here is a 1990 published Astrology book about Midpoints and Harmonics that I found at this internet virtual library.
Working with astrology : the psychology of harmonics, midpoints, and astrocartography
by Harding, Michael, D.F. Astrol. S
I like the book so much that I looked to see if the book is available to order on amazon. I found some used used versions and ordered one. The most expensive one was 76 dollars. The cheapest one was 33 dollars, and I ordered that one.

I found the following very interesting:

While it is true to say that only a very few steps have been taken towards using harmonics to clarify such involved interactions, Witte's followers in Germany and America have been using the images of resonance and complex pattern since the 1930s in their use of midpoints. The ideas which underlie the use of Arabic parts and those which are implied by the use of Antiscion degrees were brought together by the development of midpoint theory and offer the most cohesive image of integral astrology to date.

Mean Points. We can study mean points between any number of bodies, so that the mean of Sun + Moon + Uranus may tell us something about the rhythm of radical change within the day and month, while the mean of Mars + Saturn + Neptune may well be important for the study of cycles in infectious diseases. One might suspect that the cycles of influence of 'influenza' epidemics may be related to Moon + Mars + Saturn + Neptune. Certainly W.D. Gann, in the work he was doing on the stock market in the last years of his life, was using the mean of 6 and 7 planets as key factors, a discovery which he considered as important as any he had previously made.
Other ratios and relationships: Harmonics theory seems to imply that integer (whole divisions) of the circle can be used to explain all astrological effects. But, as Dr. James S. Williamsen pointed out, this cannot be the whole story. The importance of the Golden Section in the processes of nature has been known about since at least the Greeks, and these and other 'irrational numbers' such as pi, Planck's Constant, and so on, can be definitely be seen to play a vital part in the scheme of things. Various writers have independently pointed out the importance of the Golden Section (GS) ratio and have suggested that planets in GS ratio to each other at any time will have a very distinctive and creative resonance one with another.
