I am planning to travel to India for fieldwork next month and asked if I would be safe healthwise?

Heart, scythe, tree, bear letter

Had it not been for scythe, I would have interpreted these cards positively. Heart shows my enthusiasm for the trip, Tree as the central card is very apt making health the main issue. Perhaps someone who has my interests at heart (Bear) will send me a message to help me decide. But scythe could represent danger, or cancelling plans or even being decisive.

Any thoughts, please?

The cards were entirely accurate that someone who has my interests at heart will send me a message to help me decide. This person is a friend and clairvoyant who said that the visit should be delayed. So Scythe as the 2nd card, although a little confusing in that position, meant I would cancel my plans. It would have been clearer as the last card as the outcome. However, if taken as mirroring "Bear", its position offers more detail to the reading.

Thanks for letting us know. I just saw that spread, and was wondering if it might denote some sort of cancellation or cutting back (esp. with bear), but I hadn`t come around to post yet.

I must admit when i first saw the spread i thought either cancellation/postponement due to some paperwork(letter), or weightloss, or something around being vaccinated(scythe mirroring bear). But what you have described also makes sense.

I dont know what deck you use in my deck the heart has two swans facing each (so two people who care for each other communicating)

letter = message, heart mirroring letter - 1 to 1 message to you from someone who cares

scythe mirroring bear - cancelling(scythe) to protect(bear) yourself

Tree in the middle i actually think means taking your health into own hands, so your choice affects your health(the tree having roots). Its central to your question.

So basically in this case the outcome was in your hands which is central to your question(so tree in the middle) - your friend advised you to cancel in order to protect yourself.
