My Saturn @ 0 Leo and Mercury @ 5 Aqua square the NN of my mother (1 Scorpio), sister (4 Taurus) Libra son (2 Taurus), and various old friends (around 4 Scorpio). I lost my mother young, my sister cut off the family, I lost contact with my old friends...heaven forbid anything happens with my son.
This is second-generation weirdness because my mother had Saturn exactly on her SN. With my Saturn square hers, it's like I inherited karma.

In the Saturn Return time period I described in the post above (2003 - early 2007), I got pregnant with my Libra son, had him, experienced the demise of my Libra father, lost him.
My Libra son and father have their suns conjunct (birthdays one day apart). Both have sun conjunct Mars with Scorpio Mercury and Virgo Venus.
My son has sun square Cancer Saturn exact, so his Saturn squares his grandfather's sun. His Saturn also squares their composite sun-moon conjunction. My niece died young and her sun was also in Libra, conjunct theirs. So for my son, his Saturn sort of represents the first deaths of close relatives, whose suns were conjunct his. His missing people. His Saturn conjunct my progressed Saturn in Cancer.
It goes on and on with us because Saturn is his chart ruler, in mutual reception with his Cap moon. My sun is my chart ruler, in mutual reception with Saturn, and my sun's conjunct his moon, and my Saturn's conjunct his Saturn.
Anyway he just had his nodal return and I was explaining some of this to him. He enjoys these conversations.

His own Saturn squares his NN out of sign; they won't progress into an exact square, because his progressed Saturn will turn Rx next year at 27.21 Cancer Rx, on May 26th. At that time, my own pr Saturn will be at 26.58 Cancer Rx.
Looking far ahead, he and I are heading into a progressed composite eclipse, which only seems fitting, all things considered.
On March 9th, 2044, with tr sun conjunct my moon, our pr comp will be:
7.42 Aqua NN
0.26 Aqua sun, conjunct Mercury @ 2 Aqua
0.26 Leo moon (exact on my Saturn)
26.35 Cancer Saturn, conjunct Jupiter @ 20 Cancer
He and I will both have pr Saturn @ 26 Cancer, trine my pr sun 24 Pisces, assuming I'm alive.
Well not every composite progresses into an eclipse so I thought that was cool, especially with the pr Saturns in more or less permanent conjunction.
Pls don't quote, I might move this or delete.
But considering how much importance I place on Saturn/node aspects in composite and synastry, I thought it was worth spelling out how many serious or uncommon events can seem to go along with them.
In my family, anyway.
