"The meaning of Lotis seems to be: "a hard-on," hard on somebody, to chafe under, stain (Damien Foor); cause and effect, possibly, lotus plants, "lotus-eaters." markandrewholmes.com/lotis.html

lumina , an interesting find. I looked it up in my progressed composite and Lotis was trine NN conjunct Cupid on a day when I received a call out of the blue from a guy. It also happens to be when the Pr Comp Sun is exactly conjunct Saturn and both square Pluto, so no takers.

"The meaning of Lotis seems to be: "a hard-on," hard on somebody, to chafe under, stain (Damien Foor); cause and effect, possibly, lotus plants, "lotus-eaters." markandrewholmes.com/lotis.htmlFrom the link: "Asteroid 429, Lotis, was discovered on November 23, 1897 by Auguste Charlois at Nice, France. It has a period of 4 years, 78 days and is 69.62 kilometers (43 1/4 miles) in diameter. It was named for Lotis, a daughter of Poseidon who was changed into a lotus after praying to the gods to help her escape from the lustful god Priapus." Ohhh..... LOL Just based on that, I think I'd give a different reading for it, it's like someone becoming something because of an outside threat....not the threat itself (Priapus and his problem). Lotis' form reflects Priapus but she is not him. You know? If we interpret her AS him, then it's like a redundant reading for Priapus himself. And we don't need two Priapuses. (Well I'll speak for myself, I don't need two.)

Ava, shame this forum doesn't have a 'laugh' option in addition to the 'like'. Your earlier comment made me laugh .
