What does south node conjunct ascendant mean in synastry?

I've met one girl in astro seek and we've been chatting for hours and I've noticed that her's south node is conjunct to my ascendant. Does it means that we had a connection in past life?


Partner A is me and partner B is a girl.

I can't really answer for the past life part of your question. However, rather than seeing it as SN conjunct Asc, I would frame it as north node conjunct descendant.

The descendant is where we look to see what we consider "the other". The 7th house is, among other things, the house of partners, open allies (and open enemies). It's where we think we're weak (though often not) and look to anorher to express that part of ourself.

Axis overlays are good indicators of attraction. It's as if we're drawn to someone because we're heading in some mutual direction. Beyond that, I note red's moon conjunct blue's sun. An indicator of comfort in each other's presence, as moon tends to be very accepting of sun's basic self.

Not sure what to make of the Saturn conjunct vertex double whammy. Perhaps it's a sign that this will be a lasting relationship, or perhaps an indication that each will have a role in teaching the other to mature. Sometimes, astrology tells you something is notable, but doesn't show you how until you see it in hindsight.
