Hello
Is there a criteria for having a stellium? Do the planets have to conjunct or be in the same house or do they have to involve inner planets?
Eg. I have uranus conjunct jupiter in sag, my SN in sag and neptune in sag. Uranus/jupiter is in my 2nd but neptune is on the cusp just into the 3rd house and doesn't aspect Jupiter/uraunus.
My youngest has sun con mercury in leo. She also has moon in leo all in the same house but her moon doesnt aspect sun/mercury.
She also has jupiter, saturn and Pluto all in capricorn in the same house.
Are all these scenarios stelliums?
Pls dnt quote

Often it is said that there have to be several planets within 8-10 degrees of each other, some say 5 planets, others might just count planets in the same sign or house. Recently I read this here in a book: "A stellium occurs in an astrological chart when three or more planets fall closely together in the same zodiac sign. Some astrologers and astrology programs define a stellium as three or more planets, but they generally include outer planets as part of that definition. My definition of a stellium is three or more personal planets in a single sign. Once a minimum of three personal planets fall into a single sign, then any outer planets add to the existing stellium. The strength of personal planets is always greater than outer planet influences. If all five personal planets – the Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars, and Mercury - fall into a single zodiac sign, my term for that is an extreme stellium. Eddington, Diane. Top 10 Worst Synastry Aspects (Star Synastry Book 3) (S.16). Kindle-Version. Personally, while I think the strongest is a stellium, where at least 2-3 personal planets are included AND conjunct each other, I would still call it a stellium if there are 3 or more planets in the same sign or house, even without conjunctions. However I would very carefully check if there might be midpoint-pictures emerging, and I tend to keep in mind which planets start and end the stellium, and which planet is the central one. For example, not all are conjunct, but I have Mars, Neptune, (NN), Mercury and Sun in Sag - I def. call that a stellium, even though it is strictly just two sets of conjunctions, there is an empty space in the mid of the the stellium. well Mars opens that stellium and Sun closes it (which in itself is interesting), the midpoint is on 15 Sag - there is nothing there really, (because of the empty space in the middle of the sign spanning from 11 degrees to 24 degrees) - I still respond strongly to that degree (if transiting planets go over it, or in synastry). but even with that empty space I would not dream to NOT think of myself has having a Sag-Stellium. I mean 3 of 5 personal planets AND ASC are in Sag.

Thanks lumina , I had written a long post but my laptop battery died Yeah you definitley have a sag stellium, thats alot of planets there. My youngest also has 3 of her personal planets in leo as mentioned. I do definitley see the leo-ness there already, plus she has her DSC in leo too. She has the outer planet stellium (pluto/saturn/pof/jupiter) though im not really seeing much of the capricorn influence yet(i guess it's too early though...) With my placements, im not so sure how i relate to them, the jupiter/uranus is the closest conjunction in my chart, plus uranus rules my ic and jupiter. I notice in my friendships, the friends i had most things in common with had strong sagitarius or virgo. They do play apart in the areas of money and relationships and the type of people i tend to attract. I have sagitarius hobbies and like saggitarius things/humour, though generally personality wise and how i come across and also feelings wise i dont think so, even though my moon is in my 9th. I do have a progressed moon/mercury/asc/saturn and sun in scorpio. I think as I've gotten older leo has become stronger in my chart(chart ruler/dsc ruler and mc) as well. A quick google someone wrote "In fact, a stellium is so major that it can potentially subdue the power of your sun sign". I don't know if i relate to that with my stellium. I guess what I'm trying to say is I think i agree with "My definition of a stellium is three or more personal planets in a single sign." Midpoint of jupiter/uranus and neptune is the composite SN with my bf - which is conjunct jupiter. He has a sag stellium - moon/uranus, SN, jupiter, neptune(His IC might probably be there too but it depends on the exactness of his TOB. I can see both the capricorn/saturian nature in him and the jolly saggitarius-ness(if thats even a word ). no quote pls
