Hello, What is a multicomposite supposed to illustrate? Is it the dynamic between 3 people? The multicomposite I have with my 2 children interestingly has the ascendant conjunct my natal south node. But I don't really understand the meaning of the chart itself

That's interesting vg I don't know much beyond what you described: dynamic between 3 people. ASC conjunct your SN seems tight-knit; DSC-NN predicts you will remain closely in their lives over time? (I mean, to a significant extent, for example living close to them and babysitting your grandchildren, not living in another country altogether maybe?) I checked the multicomposite with my husband and our firstborn and there is almost a grand sextile. 13 Gem Jupiter 16 Leo Saturn 13 Libra NN, 17 Libra Pluto 15 Sag Neptune (conjunct his natal sun) 15 Aqua Chiron Mid-Aries completes the configuration, and my natal Jupiter and draconic Venus are there. Jupiter rules my 5th house and tr Jupiter was on my MC-Chiron when I had this son, a Sag. Well that was worth looking at...

Thanks Ava I like the thought of that In our multicomposite there are a few contacts to my nodes, my north node actually falls in my natal 8th . This multicomp is very 8th housey as well. Theres a few planets in the 8th. It makes sense though. The house of shared resources - i share my resources as a parent(love, taking care of them financially etc) with them and they have to share their resources(eg their parents, and any inheritances if there is any lol) with each other, we all share their father as well. I found it interesting that you mentioned about relationships. My 2nd nodal return is coming up in a month. I had wondered what it meant so I looked at the chart for my previous nodal return and when it happened the north node was in the nodal return chart's 10th house. I cant remember the other placements but i remember saturn was in the 9th of that chart. I will say that the main focus of those following 18 or so years was my career and i did study at lot first. I did not really have much interest in relationships til a bit later on in this interval and even then work was high in the priority(aside from immediate family), i didnt want to rely on someone for income so have this big fear of job loss. Its only really since my first was born that my priority shifted and i switch off from work when i come home from work. I also realised how time is important(is this a 10th house thing?). Anyway i checked my nodal return chart for whats coming in january and the north node happens in the 7th house. Sorry for that ramble thats what i thought of when you mentioned about relationships, i thought about the connection there My kids i would say have quite strong moons in synastry as well as natally - my youngest has it almost exactly conjunct her dsc (which is my MC and her older siblings North node). My eldest has his moon in his 10th and is almost exactly conjunct my youngests MC. So i hope it means we have a strong relationship. My youngest does have their moon square uranus but then her father has the conjunction. Im glad i got into astrology before they were born so i knew to make a note of their birth times. Pls dnt quote

Hmm, I don`t really believe in multi-composites. a) because of their calculation www.astro.com/astrology/in_multicomp_e.htmand b) composites are the result and reflection of similiarities between natals or in a synastry, like double whammy aspects, or shared natal aspects, will reappear and be reflected in the composite; this doesn`t happen with a multicomposite though.

That's no fun at all lumina. lol But thanks for telling us. I will have to read up on it later. Better to know about the controversy. vg, I enjoy your "rambles" and learn from you, you're much better with understanding the importance of house placements. I like the multicomp 8th house concentration and your view of it. 'Fascinating how the nodal return in the 10th seemed to carry a lasting effect; possibly your upcoming nodal return signifies a shift in priorities or interests? More towards 7th house/Libra interests...whatever comes, I hope it's a good time for you and your family. I need to check out my own NN returns, now I'm curious.

Thanks Ava i think you are right on the 7th house matters - both my kids have planets(also their 4th house rulers)in the 7th house. I never really thought of the nodes much or what they even mean but i saw my nodal return was coming up so thought I would look at the past one.
