My son has made an offer for a house he's fallen in love with and we're waiting with bated breath to hear if his offer will be accepted. I pulled leno to find out if he would buy the house and got - Book, Rider, Anchor. This didn't look very positive to me since there was a possibility that 'book' could refer to the undecided or the unknown and I also pulled 'coffin' as a clarifier.
A few hours later I pulled again for the question, "will his offer be accepted" and got Anchor, Rider, Book!! Weird or what! I think this spread is more positive with Anchor as the first card. Anchor/Rider is receiving good news. Book, though, is an odd card here unless it represents finding out the truth.
I am fascinated by the fact that I got the same cards but in a different order. it is as if Lenormand is trying to teach me to be a better reader.
Couldn`t it be a Yes? I know Book is often related to mysteries and lack of clarity (with Coffin there will probably be an end to the lack of clarity, so a definite answer); however very often Book comes up for me as "booking" things, in my case often tickets for theatre visits. lol However I could see how that could relate to contracts of a longterm nature as well, or a written offer. with Rider there might be an answer delivered, and with Anchor it could mean he has found his haven so to speak, that this is where he gets "anchored".
But of course I am totally not sure about this, You are right of course that book and coffin could also mean that there is a No answer to the offer made and that this No answer is delivered swiftly and is definite (anchor).
lumina , he just heard that his offer has been accepted. Great! So, the spread was a positive one. I find it amazing that the 2nd spread showed cards reversed to match my understanding, which was that Anchor and Rider together spell good news . That was so cool.
