so the next upcoming New Moon takes place on 17th september.
It`s a little funny, but the last Fullmoon was falling on my solar Return Moon on 12 Virgo, and this upcoming New Moon is going to conjunct P`s Solar Return Moon at 26 Virgo. He has a last quarter Moon in his Solar Return this year (Moon 26°50 Virgo - Sun 26°57 Sag), setting off this very important square in his natal from 25-26 Virgo (DESC and Saturn) to 26 - 28 Sag (Sun, Moon, MC).
Well speaking of the New Moon, the transits seem to be more important for him than for me. or maybe not more important but more attentiongrabbing.
I have on the day of the New Moon (partile aspects):
New Moon square my Sun and Mercury (which is of course interesting) Mercury trine Moon and square Saturn Jupiter opposite Saturn Pluto - almost - conjunct Sun/Moon-mp again, this will happen maybe a few days later (1°02) SN conjunct Mercury Juno conjunct asteroid Union on 29 Libra
For P:
New Moon conjunct DESC New Moon conjunct Saturn (1-2 degrees) New Moon square Sun (1-2 degrees) New Moon trine Venus Mars trine Sun Mars square Juno (5 minutes of orb) Saturn conjunct Venus (under half a degree) Saturn trine DESC Neptune square Neptune (almost out of partile) Pluto almost square Pluto (it will never get into partile orb again though, so possibly this one is done with him for good) Node square the horizon Tr Juno conjunct asteroid Union on 29 Libra
What I find especially interesting is that this New Moon chart replicates his Solar Return angles.
New Moon ASC 25 Scorpio SR ASC 23 Scorpio (conjunct his natal Uranus on 23 Scorpio and pr Uranus on 25 Scorpio)
New Moon MC 18 Virgo SR MC 14 Virgo in both charts Tr Neptune is angular on the IC with about one degree or less.
Well he`s been having a tough year, and probably a weird one, definitely different than planned (as we all had of course), and the transits themselves indicate this as well, that Saturn on his Venus for most of the year, Jupiter now and then as well, though I think it was there in the beginning and will return there in the end of the year, but was staying clear for the rest of it. and the transiting Node going over his IC and then opposing his Moon, Sun and squaring his Saturn and horizon. And next year is going to be probably dominated by Pluto conjunct his Venus.
Well my year personally has been mostly marked by Tr Jupiter opposing Saturn, Tr Saturn at some points square Uranus (when it was around 1 Aqua), Tr Pluto now and then conjunct my Sun/Moon-mp (when it was from 20°31 - 22°31 Cap), Tr Jupiter had been doing so in the beginning and will eventually do so again, Tr South Node conjunct my Sun and Mercury.
hmm has nothing to do with the New Moon really, but I just noticed how that one falls onto an interesting spot in the zodiac, for me, but maybe even more so for him (oh it is also conjunct my Draco DESC of course)

Thanks lumina . New moon squaring P's new moon, just by itself, that looks pivotal...though I don't know what could change relative to relationships if it's hitting his natal Saturn-DSC and trining Venus. Maybe just putting more of a focus there than usual? In a very thoughtful, problem-solving way (Virgo)? And the nodes are involved in all this, for both of you. Pretty intriguing. Maybe there will be revelations like never before, with tr SN on your suns, tr SN on your Mercury opp Gem NN, very communicative. Past life stuff or....relationship-history stuff may be themes? "Remember a decade ago, when..." I think I'm still in the grips of that lunar eclipse on my sun back in July, combined with the major transit of Jupiter conjunct my sun, squaring natal Jupiter. Good time for finding myself. Well I've been overspending, compared to my usual spending habits. I will probably splurge again when Venus hits my ASC soon. In my location, there is (are?) parans: 27 Virgo ASC conjunct sun-moon 26 Gem MC conjunct NN Mercury is obviously the star here, and it's @ 17 Libra, exactly conjunct my natal Karma. Mercury is squaring Jupiter, so there may be a tendency to overtalk (that's just my personality, so at least people will be prepared for it.) We were talking about Aries Points on another thread. 0 Cancer, draconic sun-moon....pretty interesting to have the chart ruler conjunct the ASC here, in draconic. What's mentally-oriented in tropical becomes overwhelmingly emotional in draconic. Even draco Mercury is @ 22 Cancer in the first house. I hate to admit that it doesn't look good for me, with my draco Cancer moon there. I don't like draco Mercury's approach, I don't want to be uncorked or exposed (my draco moon falls in my natal 12th house). While I'm b*tching, I also dislike tr draco Chiron @ 13 Cap in this chart, inching up on my sun. (This will be exact in my SR for 2021: draconic Chiron @ 15 Cap.) But still, okay...at least the major energy of this new moon is leaving me unperturbed, so I'll count my blessings. And wish you extra good luck through it.

"New moon squaring P's new moon, just by itself, that looks pivotal" Yes, it is certainly something that gets attention. however, it is not an eclipse, so possibly just shaping a temporary mood or something.
"...though I don't know what could change relative to relationships if it's hitting his natal Saturn-DSC and trining Venus. Maybe just putting more of a focus there than usual? In a very thoughtful, problem-solving way (Virgo)?" Don`t know. Well a few years ago he had Tr Saturn squaring Venus (he broke up with his previous girlfriend), and then 2-3 years ago he had Tr Uranus square Venus, but not sure how that manifested for him or if anthing happened (well *I* happened, but apart from that...)
Maybe he will just put more focus there as you said, on his comitments.
"And the nodes are involved in all this, for both of you. Pretty intriguing. Maybe there will be revelations like never before, with tr SN on your suns, tr SN on your Mercury opp Gem NN, very communicative. Past life stuff or....relationship-history stuff may be themes? "Remember a decade ago, when..."" LOl Well no, not so far, no revelations. But it is always intersting to check a "flow chart", to see what for two people comes up around the same times. which would of course be more interesting in terms of him and his wife.
"I think I'm still in the grips of that lunar eclipse on my sun back in July, combined with the major transit of Jupiter conjunct my sun, squaring natal Jupiter. Good time for finding myself. Well I've been overspending, compared to my usual spending habits. I will probably splurge again when Venus hits my ASC soon. Makes sense. Tr Jupiter conjunct Sun is usually a "reward time", I say usually, cause I did not expect it at THAT grand last year, but it depends what else is going on. And Tr Jupiter conjuct Sun together with Tr Saturn opposing Saturn or whatever I was having, is of course not purely jolly. (it was not a bad time though)
"In my location, there is (are?) parans:
27 Virgo ASC conjunct sun-moon 26 Gem MC conjunct NN"
That`s pretty strong.
"(my draco moon falls in my natal 12th house)." And an 8th house Moon adds to that of course.
Well I noticed that the draco new Moon happens on 00 Cancer, that is very interesting (it conjuncts my Draco Jupiter on 1 Cancer, too)
" And wish you extra good luck through it."
Thank you. Well at the moment I don`t really feel new moonish, to be honest.

"JUPITER aspecting Natal SUN Most people experience this as one of the best of times for self-improvement (socially, financially, etc.), increased esteem, the easing of problems, and greater peace of mind. Luck is on your side in the form of opportunities and receiving special (positive) attention. Promotion is possible. Weddings and engagements occur under this influence, reflecting a celebrant, popular, status-shifting mood. Mostly, you simply feel good! You probably incline toward leisure, relaxation, and "taking the easy way out." Money is spent more freely. Difficulties are easily resolved now; but in your dislike of problems, do not avoid confronting them. You display an aura of personal authority, and a renewed sense of importance. Beware arrogance and ego! IN BRIEF: Self-improvement, esteem, opportunity for advance. General good feelings, sense of prosperity. Leisure-minded, indulgent. Sense of importance; perhaps arrogant, self-righteous. [Anecdote: Extreme, extended indulgence (immoderation) in food & other pleasures (something that didn't show with several other Jupiter transits in the weeks preceeding). t. JU -135- r. SU. t. JU -90- p. MA. (And, of course, p. MA -135- r. SU.)] [Anecdote: Opportunity to "shine," received significant appreciation for technical insight that surprised and pleased someone. Definitely a day of "looking good." Health issue (ongoing for several months) showed distinctive signs of the last stage of clearing, freeing me back to activities that hadn't been feasible; and discovered a home treatment that started accelerating the last main stage of healing. t. JU -180- p. SU (on SNQ2 MC-IC).]"
Well for me the Transit happened in mid november 2019; however at the same time I was having pr Moon applying to square natal Saturn (1°05 a; this was exact at the beginning of january), in fact in mid november it was right in between squaring p Saturn and n Saturn, sort of on the midpoint.
Tr Saturn opposing natal Saturn: 0°31 a (and therefore Tr Saturn also moving closer to square pr Moon) Tr Pluto square natal Chiron: 1°00 s Tr Pluto conjunct Sun/Moon-mp: 0°28 a Tr Pluto conjunct Antivertex: 0°25 a Tr Node square Pluto: 0°10 a
So definitely not a very carefree time, despite the Jupiter transit. Maybe it helped ease the mood a little though.

Saturn and Pluto still square my Sun. Jupiter square Mercury. Venus trine Neptune and MC/sextile IC. Mars a few degrees away from my Sun. Mercury opposed Mercury, from the 12th. Chiron conjunct Jupiter, opposed Pluto. Lilith square Saturn. Juno conjunct Uranus, 12th house.
