How would you describe this aspect? That the personality aligns well with your growth and evolution? it has also been described as a fortunate aspect, where you are perceived favourably by others and are popular.
My grandson has this aspect and I was wondering what the permutations were. He is a Cancer Sun with Asc at 25 Leo which trines Saturn.

@astrokeen I don’t think I know anyone with that conjunction, but I’ll look through my charts and see if I can find anything. It sounds like a pleasant aspect to me, although I could imagine that relationships could be second place in favor of the native’s true path? 💜

Nelson Mandela had his NN conjunct Ascendant as well as DNA! Most decidedly his life was dedicated to his path. Perhaps single-mindedness is an outcome.

Some other celebrities with the conjunction, according to this site: astro-charts.com/persons/aspect/North%20Node-Conjunction-Ascendant/Serious standouts like Nikola Tesla, Edgar Allen Poe, Reinhold Messner, Amitabh Bachchan, Martin Scorsese...Tom Brady...also Justin Bieber, Kamala Harris. I wonder if these folks tend to trust their own vision and push new limits by doing things their own way. Like Tom Brady is a mostly-vegan football player, it almost makes no sense. Sandra Bullock has this conjunction, and people talk about how unique she is. I get the same impression as Violets , I think...the native tends to follow their own path. Supposedly Al Jolson has the conjunction; he's notorious for blackface now and would not be considered respectable because of that, but "...author Stephen Banfield wrote that Jolson's style was 'arguably the single most important factor in defining the modern musical'." wikipedia

Well I think I am in some ways "walking to my own drum", I am very concerned with relationships though, but not because I am doing them so well, but quite the opposite, trying to understand "how it all works", mostly from an outside perspective. This seems to contradict the notion that we do so well with things concerned with the SN, not in my case. My SN is so much more foreign to me than my NN. Maybe possible explanations for this are that I have a personal planet concentration in my NN-sign. Also my Draconic Moon is on my natal DESC and conjunct my SN.

My father had the opposite, lumina : Sag ASC-SN square Pisces Jupiter. He was tall (6'3") and solidly built. He'd hold his arms out for a hug and just seemed kind of enormous. I think that fits his Jupiter chart ruler and also SN on the ASC, being comfortable in the public, greeting it with open arms literally. Not that he hugged everyone, but he seemed very much at ease around people (ASC sextile Libra sun-Mars). Hitchhiked from the East to West Coast and back when he was young. His Gemini DSC-NN may have indicated self-sacrifice for the good of the marriage or learning how to become flexible to make room for his family. My mother's draconic Mars was conjunct those and she would spell out the terms for him. She could be bossy as hell, my mother. But they usually got along (because he did what she said). Natally he had Scorpio Mercury dispositing his Gem NN-DSC so who knows what he was actually thinking. Scorpio Mercury trine Cancer Pluto so at least he had a warm personality, most of the time. Pls don't quote

Ava ah your father sounds so great! Actually the dynamic you describes sounds a bit like my parents (though lately there is more arguing, cause at certain points my Dad won`t budge anymore), but seriously, it is far easier to just get along what my Mom sais sometimes (we all are guilty of that, though I then feel guilty because I feel it is not really honest towards her either, but she would be deeply offended if anyone pointed out how controlling and bossy she can be. Well at certain points my brother and me and my aunt mentioned it to her in passing, she still gets upset about it now and then. But she is a great person, so we can live with that ) Well it is interesting that your father had the same opposite, I mean I also have it square Pisces-Jupiter. how funny. I am not that open arms type though.

Besides lumina, the only person I can find in my charts who has the conjunction is my cousin’s daughter, and she is actually very much the way I guessed with that aspect. She also has an Aquarius Sun, so I’m sure that adds to her level of independence. She’s young too, in high school and at an age where many girls are focused on dating, crushes, going out, etc. But she has very little concern for that. She’s mainly concerned with preparing for college and traveling to other countries with her church to help with food and shelter (I believe her NN is in Pisces, but I’ll double check). At any rate, she’s far more on track and focused than most kids I’ve known at her age.
