Moon in the solar return chart

Thank you vg. It's nice to have a reference, while it remains. I might go back and focus on the years my children were born, specifically, to see if any patterns turn up.

I've been checking the draconic SRs...it's a bit inconvenient, since one has to save the regular SR in the astro.com databank in order to check the draconic version. But so far I'm mesmerized. Like the year I met and started dating my husband, my SR draco sun was conjunct his sun. Last year when I was in communication with my ex against all odds, my SR draco sun was conjunct his sun.

SR draco sun moves approx 20° per year so it's fairly easy to estimate its position for future/previous years.

No worries Ava I will have a look myself - i do remember both involved my IC ruler(uranus) - 4th house rules pregnancy(i guess it depends on who you talk to on that). Also the months i found out about both pregnancies the LR IC was conjuncting my natal IC. For the month my son was born when he arrived when moon was conjunct the LR vertex. I was induced when the moon on my natal chiron - which is in my 8th house - I was supposed be induced a few hours before that. Funningly enough i read that saturn in 12th can indicate the hours leading to their birth was difficult - dont want to go into detail here but yes it was. I guess this topic should have a thread of it's own lol.

Well this years Moon is in Virgo (in 10th house and natal 9th), but next year Moon will return home, to Aquarius, my natal Moon sign.

Though it comes with its own set of issues, namely:
- in 12th house
- conjunct SAturn on 00 Aquarius

also conjunct Jupiter on 29 Cap, it is sooooooo intriguing to me to see Jupiter on the last degree of its detriment sign and Saturn entering the sign it - traditionally - rules, and yet they are conjunct each other. Saturn rules Jupiter, so Saturn has the last word, but doing so from Aquarius, interesting. we will see.

Well ASC will be on 10 Aqua, so at least Moon will be in the same singn as the ASC (using whole sign houses this would actually be considered a 1st house placement), and some months into 2021 (beginning of august) progressed solar return Moon will pass the ASC and move into 1st house, I read that this is important and will bring clarity about some things, or things manifesting, don`t know. I hopefull will remember that thread then and give feedback, if that is true. (though in recent years progressed solar return Moon was a big thing in terms of pinpoint timing of events)

Had to check your charts. So for your upcoming birthday, your SR moon will move to Aqua. It's conjunct draconic Mars on 1 Aqua, have you seen? And draco Uranus still @ 17 Aqua, on your natal moon.

Looks like moon-Mars is the tightest natal-to-draco conjunction for this upcoming SR. But it's in the 12th. Also, that SR draco moon is in Scorpio; kinda repeats the moon-Mars theme if we take Mars as Scorpio's ruler.

Thanks for reminding me; I never progress my solar returns. I usually ignore them altogether. But this looks interesting...I wonder what else might be happening in the skies while pr SR moon is conjunct SR ASC.

yes, I saw it, it is interesting that Draco Mars being on composite ASC (and Draco composite Saturn as well). I think in summer 2 years ago it was at 00 Aquarius, tropical Mars though. Well natally Mars is in the 12th house. Well I noticed that next year there will be a lunar eclipse falling right on my natal Mars on 5 Sag, and near my horizon on 7 Sag-Gemini and Draco Moon on almost 7 Gemini.
Draco composite Sun is on 5 Gemini, so there is that. Anyway...

did not know the SR Draco moon is in Scorpio, but makes sense my tropical Moon is entering scorpio next month, too.

I don´t usually progress Solar returns, but if I do, usually something big comes up. lol Well there is a lot happening around that time, but that would probably blow up this thread. However suffice to say for now, there will be Tr Saturn on 10 Aqua with the transiting Sun-mercury on around 8-10 Leo too, when that exact conjunction happens. so eventually tr Sun will conjunct the SR DESC with the pr SR Moon being on it, in the first days of august. And of course Tr Saturn on the pr SR Moon and SR ASC - and well my natal pr Moon on 8 Scorpio. Tr Saturn will be on and off square my pr Moon for the next decades or so, so this is one more emphasis of this.

Draco comp sun w/ P @ 5 Gem, how did I forget or not know? I tend to file those things away, especially if it links to the natal...your Mars opposing that, isn't it interesting?

My draco comp sun w/ ex @ 5 Aries opp his Mercury. We were just so riveting. lol

Anyway, speaking of him, reconnection occurred with my progressed SR moon conjunct my natal Juno (within a few minutes orb) and conjunct his natal sun (within a degree or so).

My current SR moon's in Taurus on my draconic sun. I think I've spent more money this year than the past few years combined. It was constructive and necessary, like waking up to material possibilities & responsibilities (like I was telling you, getting new shelves for the basement.) Upcoming SR moon in Libra, that quickly progresses into an exact conjunction with natal Pluto in early March, lots of Pluto reiterations across the board at that time. Life is great.

Yeah. opp. my tropical Mars on 5 Gem, conjunct my DESC on 7 Gem, conjunct my Draco Moon on 6°58 Gemini.

I might not have mentioned it, cause I am pouting that I am so much more affected. lol

On the other hand Draco composite Venus conjuncts his tropical IC and opposes his tropical Sun, and Draco composite Pluto conjuncts his tropical ASC (but then there is also MY Draco ASC-Mars)

Anyway had the idea today to look up some Draco composite Solar Returns, and well the one from september 2019, was, well crazy. 

Sun on 5 Gemini opposing Moon on 5 Sag
ASC on 2 Gemini // DESC on 2 Sag

But then there was also

Mars on 1 Gemini opposing Neptune on 1 SAg - and well, the Sun-Moon-opposition was 10 minutes of orb, Mars-Neptune was 1 minute of orb. lol Well there was also Uranus sesisquare/semisquare the Sun-Moon by 5 minutes each, I told you, crazy. 

I do think however that the Neptune-factor made itself very much felt. 

And then I realized, that our present draco Solar Return, which features a Venus-Jupiter - opposition as well as a Mars-Saturn-square. lol Heaven and hell?  
Anyway this one started on the day that I was starting to give my input, too, into the song-collaboration he wanted to have with the group. I mean literally the exact day!

Interestingly this Draco SR has ASC on 10 Gemini (it has a whole lot of 12th house stuff of course *rolleyes* ), right on our tropical composite Jupiter on 10 GEmini in 5th house (and our upcoming tropical Solar Return will have MC on 10 Gemini, so I take notes. lol)


And the next Draco composite Solar Return will happen on 6th august, just 3-4 days after my tropically pr SR Moon will go over the ASC on 10 Aqua and well Tr Saturn will be there, and in fact our pr composite Sun is on 10 Aquarius, too. 



At that time in august, there will be a lot astrologically, like his pr SR Moon will be on 23 Aqua conjunct his LR ASC on 22 Aqua at that time; his lunar return will also feature Venus on 29 Leo (and Sun on 29 Cancer - transition month for him?) and maybe even more importantly Mars on 24 Leo right on his Draco Venus on 24 Leo. 

my Lunar Return of that time will have ASC on 15 Leo, which means it will be exactly conjunct HIS Solar Return DESC on 15 Leo, and it will put my own natal Moon onto my LR DESC by 2 degrees, conjunct HIS SR Moon on 18 Aquarius. 
my LR Sun will be on 2 Leo conjunct our composite DESC. You know stuff like that. just wondering what is up with that? 

Oh btw our pr composite will have pr Sun on 10 Aqua (with Tr Saturn on it, and Tr Sun-Mercury opposite) squaring pr Mars with just 1 minute. our pr Mercury-Saturn opposition will I think be close to perfecting. pr Venus will be applying to trine pr Mars (by about half a degree or so). our pr composite ASC will be just maybe a month away from entering 00 Aries. 

Also, his pr Venus will be conjunct my natal Juno by just one minute and trine my natal SAturn by zero orb. 
his pr Moon will be just half a degree appyling to conjunct my n Saturn (and trine my n Juno on his pr Venus)

Tr Node will do interesting stuff (like applying to my natal DESC, and actually being right on my Solar Return IC, opposing his natal Mercury on my SR MC, and being on the same degree as the lunar eclipse that is happening next week, so making note of that too. maybe some form of culmination of something. 

And well Tr Pluto will be on his Venus, well it will be all year, but in this instance on the same degree, and there is probably more than I could even grasp looking over it. lol 

But honestly the solar returns and lunar returns along with the progressed Solar Return Moon and the transits really got my attention. Well at least for me myself it will mean I have Moon on the DESC. lol

Wow!!! that is just amazing. 

Well I just checked, and when P and me had coffee, my pr Solar Return Moon was on 27 Sag, having just passed over his natal Sun (and applying to his natal Moon-MC on 28 Sag), it was still within less than half a degree conj. his n Sun though, and in fact it was ALSO just within half a degree of conjunct my pr and normal SR Sun (and of course the natal Sun as well), this Moon-progression over the respective Suns must have taken about 2-3 months, which spans that very interesting summer, I can`t stop talking about. and neither can he. lol though for completely different reasons I suppose. 

Upcoming SR moon in Libra, that quickly progresses into an exact conjunction with natal Pluto in early March, lots of Pluto reiterations across the board at that time. Life is great.


Should be at least interesting. Well my Moon-Pluto-conjunction in the progressions was not really all that bad, albeit a bit intense. 


BTW when I joined his patreon page this year, my pr SR Moon had just been exactly opposite SR Neptune (16 Virgo - Pisces, and 16 Pisces is my natal Juno btw - didn`t I tell you, it felt strangely enough like entering some form of comitment, like of course I can leave anytime I want, just that I really cant? lol)
