As far as I understand, the sun and helio Mercury must be on Mercury's helio nodes in order for this transit of the sun to occur.

thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Well I remember back then with the Venus-Sun-transit in 2012 (5-6 june) everyone was making such a fuss about it. But in retrospect maybe it was well deserved! LOL I mean 2012 seems to have been a "demarcation line" for several people. I know it pretty much was for me! (of course changes just gradually showing but still, this was big).

and now Sun-Mercury.

The midpoints seem very interesting, leaving aside the one with the angle-picture (as this would be different in my location I guess), but Venus/Mars and Neptune/Pluto. Wow!

The most carnal and the most spiritual midpoints together, and of course Neptune and Pluto are higher octaves of Venus and Mars. And soon there will be a fullmoon, I wonder if the Sun/Moon-mp will be in orb for a square to these. Would be very interesting.


So for the actual transit we have:

Sun/Mercury: 18°56 Scorpio
Venus/Mars: 18°34 Scorpio

Neptune/Pluto: 18°30 Aquarius

Curiously enough this ties into P`s natal Venus/Mars-mp which is at 18°31 Scorpio (his Venus/Jupiter is at 18°03 Scorpio, and his Neptune/Pluto actually is not terribly far away on 20°55 Scorpio - too far to be in orb, but close enough to note the mirror effect in the transits - and the transiting Venus/Mars-mp is ust 3 minutes separating from his! Possibly this Sun-Mercury-thing might be important for him in particular. )


Here at my location the ASC of that transit is at 7°57 Taurus in partile conjunction to Moon on 8°16 Taurus (and curiously enough falling onto my strange lumping of asteroid ACTOR, ERos/Psyche-mp and Part of marriage which are all on 7 Taurus. lol I think actually my Draco ASC might be there as well)



The fullmoon will take place on 19°51 Scorpio - Taurus (hey that is just 9 minutes off P`s Draco Pluto, and of course his wife`s nodal axis is somewhere around)

Using my location here, the ASC is at 9°58 Pisces, exactly conjunct my CERES and my nameasteroid in P`s chart on 9 Pisces.
This FM-ASC is of course also conjunct HIS Eros on 8 Pisces and MY Jupiter on 11 PIsces (actually I remember an eclipse around that degree in 2017, this was some kind of eclipse! lol)

the FM-DESC therefore falls onto his AMOR (9 Virgo) his own name (10 Virgo) and Jupiter (10 Virgo) and his Mars (11 Virgo)

The first planet to rise in this FM-chart with my location is of course Neptune. lol on 15°56 Pisces.

the most elevated planet is Jupiter on 25 Sag, and pretty close to the MC on 22 Sag; the tightest aspect in this FM chart is Jupiter sextile Mars on 25 Libra (5 minute orb), the tightest aspect of the Full Moon itself a sextile/trine to Pluto (1°10).

Uranus on 3 Taurus conjunct the 2nd house cusp on 4 Taurus.
NN exactly conjuncts 5th house cusp on 9 Cancer (on P`s Atropos btw. and the midpoint of his wife`s and my name, and our DRaco composite ASC and THEIR tropical composite Mars-NN-conjunction, well you know stuff like that)


as for midpoints in the fullmoon chart we find

Sun/Moon: 19°52 Leo-Aquarius

Sun/Mercury: 18°47 Scorpio
Venus/Mars: 19°26 Scorpio

Neptune/Pluto: 18°31 Aquarius


Seems to be a fullmoon tied to the Sun-Mercury-transit.

And while the transit itself is probably the most important, well I was thinking, Mercury is retrograde, but so it means it will pass the Sun again, at least in longitude, on tis direct way, and while today was the energized one, I was just thinking, hypothetically of course, that when Mercury passes Sun on its direct path, we might see some manifesation of that gestation of Sun-Mercury?


This will happen on 10th january 2020 - of course it had to be within 2-3 days of P and me both having our exact pMoon-nSaturn square. LOL

That Sun-Mercury-conjunction then will be on 19° 50 Cap, and therefore tie into the Saturn-Pluto-conjunction on 22 Cap (too close to NOT notice. )

Moon that day will actually be at that exact moment at 17 Cancer (and slowly I am getting dizzy with all those "coincidences" lol), so it will too be happening at the day of a fullmoon, and a fullmoon that is going to be exactly sextile the one of the retro Mercury transit!

19 Scorpio - Taurus
19 Cap - Cancer

Okay, then.


here at my location the ASC will be on 15 Cancer conjunct Moon, and actually be conjunct MY natal SAturn on 16 Cancer, therefore seems to tie into my p-Moon-n-Saturn square pretty acutely (P is spared that exactness)


MC on 14 Pisces (on my Jupiter/JUno-mp as Jupiter on 11 PIsces and Juno on 17 Pisces, or actually 16°58 Pisces)conjunct Neptune on 16 Pisces

Tr Jupiter will beon the Tr SN on 8 Cap exact (which is the exact degree of my tropical and P`s Draco Isis, and well my tropical Osiris is on 7°50 Cap, too)


Well, the midpoints have separated from each other by then but interestingly tr Venus/Mars will be on 15 Cap, so it will be on the transiting DESC - of course this is probably only valid for where I live. lol
But well my pr ASC is there so I take a mental note.



Sun/Moon 18°44 Aries

Sun/Mercury 19°50 Cap

Neptune/Pluto 19°35 Aqua

well by the time of the fullmoon Sun/Moon will be on 19 Aries or Libra., so it is not really dissolving after all, these midpoints are still in resonance, just Venus/Mars has fallen behind.

Thanks lumina . I'm a bit distracted at the moment and always find it a bit difficult to focus on this coming January anyway, mainly because I'm not looking forward to my solar return with sun-Saturn-Pluto all conjunct...I haven't thought about the future much.

I know what you mean! January seems so far away really. I mean it is just 2 months, yet it seems so much longer. Hear you about the SR too. well our last one had SR Saturn square natal Pluto, definitely not a dessert-prone-Solar Return either.

Mine will have the Saturn-Pluto-conjunction, too, well everyone born in december, janary, maybe february, will have that One I guess. Curiously enough I just see my ASC of the next SR will be 19 Scorpio! and SR Mars on 19 Scorpio exact on the ASC. Hmm.

And about a week after my birthday there will be a Solar Eclipse. It will be a Venus-eclipse for me, and Mercury will have its Return on that day, as Tr Mercury will be on 25 Sag, actually right in between my natal Mercury and natal Sun.

Well Venus on the ASC does not look too shabby though. the square to Neptune, oh well,-

anyway, sometimes fullmoons are just fullmoons. lol Just setting the mood for a few days. Eclipses are really different. I feel so at least.

Interestingly however this fullmoon chart will bring my EVC Mercury to 6 Sag, exact on P`s EVC Pluto on 6 Sag. And last month when we had our last chat, my EVC Mercury was on 7 Sag conjunct his Pluto on 6 Sag. Who knows? Maybe he might reveal, according to the fullmoon, something about his concert plans for next year? Well it was one of the topics after all.

haha, I don`t think so! Though yes I have Mars on the ASC natally, so it is one more chance to learn about it I guess?

actually I had Mars on the ASC in the Solar return of december 2016 (leading into 2017), just it was on 28 Aquarius back then. Well fun fact, within 10 minutes before my solar return happening, was when my aquaintance and me showed up a bit early for the first workshop with P, and I just remember, while she was talking with the other guy, (we were standing at the top of the stairs, and the guy was standing on the first step or so, while P was sitting on a bench at the ground and going through his notes) and while my aquaintance was speaking, P was just looking up at me. So well yes that was 10 minutes bdfore my solar return took place, actually we were really too early and then decided to go for a walk until the beginning to give P and the pianist more time to prepare, well my aquaintance went back earlier, but I was taking a bit longer and came very much ON time (I was not too late). Anyway the pianist was greeting me at the entrance and hugging me and then complaining how they had thought I might have gotten lost or worse reconsidered and would not coming back anymore. It seemed so dramatic. lol Like everyone would really care if I was going to be there or not! (though actually I can see that P might have thought that, that had been a habit of mine in the past, just slipping away, but what I canNOT see is him losing one word about it to anyone else. lol)

But yeah, the year 2017 was pretty awesome in relation to him and me and workshops, and hey, He started the whole thing with sending me gifts, right? lol
I did a lot of workshops that surprisingly involved acting/ improvisation (I was not aware of that before though), also at school, I met Lancelot later that year. Which was really cool, too. I met the Pisces at P`s second workshop in february 2017. it was seriously a great active year, even without having sex. lol

of course this was also when we left the other place and gathered here, and there has been some share of volatile arguing. Well 28 Aquarius is also the degree of my natural and true Lilith and it is the start of my 3rd house. I guess that figured

19 Scorpio is at the nd of my 11th house, the 12th house starting at 21 Scorpio, and well it falls onto my Penelope (21 Scorpio)-Anteros (19 Scorpio) and P`s Odysseus-Valentine (19 Scorpio). WEll just some little asteroids. Oh asteroid Lancelot is on 16°47 Scorpio in my chart.

Well P´s Solar Return ASC is never really far away (for the year 2016/ 2017 it was on 9 Pisces, where my name resides in his natal chart, and then in february at the second workshop and concert there was a total solar eclipse on 8 or 9 Pisces, so yeah, 2017 was a special year, some things just cannot be repeated. lol)

Anyway for the coming year his ASC will be on 23 Scorpio (which is the degreee of his natal Uranus).
Actually the next year might be a turning point for him, or just being really important (just on a first peek I see: SR Moon on 26 Virgo on his natal Saturn-DESC squaring Sun exact; chartruler Pluto on 21 Cap conjunct Saturn on 19 Cap, and also squaring his natal Pluto, intercepted in 7th house exactly. just around his last hit of that square his solar return happens and sort of makes this aspect durable for the next year; Pluto is also widely conjunct Venus on 28 Cap, which in turn is conjunct his natal Venus on 25-26 Cap and opposing Juno on 27 Cancer. - just out of curiosity: his wife`s name in the SR is on 2 Virgo conjunct his natal NN in Return 9th house; My name in his Return is on 1 Aquarius conjunct his Return Venus by 3 degrees, though out of sign, but anyway a quarter Moon in a Solar Return always seems important, though not easy, and it is even emphasized because of it landing on his natal DESC).

What you mentioned, such cool stories! Really. And the one with the kid really depressing, but luckily your colleague was there.

Maybe there is something in the air though (Neptune(Pluto midpoint?); a few days ago I ordered some astro software online, I forgot totally about it, but today I was remembering it and wondering if everything went okay, as I had not heard from them. Within 10 minutes they sent me an email with the download. That was quick! lol


Also I had been booking for very popular musical events, one with P, the other well, it will be the whitsun festival, and possibly P is not even going to be there, as he won`t be playing this summer in that village, I still felt like trying to get hands on a ticket. lol I cannot NOT go there at least once a year. though without him it won`t be the same, but I guess I better get used to that again. anyway, I also was booking for another gala in february, big scale event. And it is always a drama with the booking, servers breaking down, internet breaking down (in recent years it was also a drama for me).

Not this weekend and today. Went completely smoothly, and well I could not pick a seat as they were just being distributed from the computer (according to the order of booking). Curiously in both cases I ended up in 3rd row a little left to the centre. ROFL it is like coincidenctally being given the same seat in different occasions. Isn`t that funny?

I keep thinking of this and how it aligns with the beginning of the pandemic.

Mercury issues began to arise then:

* Confusion - masks are unnecessary, necessary, unnecessary...and so on
* Total failure to find and use adequate treatment protocol (is this the best modern medicine can do?)
* "Disinformation" and "misinformation," constant keywords
* Censorship, authoritarianism, media echo chambers, propaganda
* Obfuscation, lying

Utterly disfunctional communication on the one hand, prompting some extraordinary measures to communicate alternate viewpoints on the other hand (new social media platforms, giant protests, and a kind of journalistic revival where some journalists actually take risks instead of parroting the party line).

I've experienced it this way, I know others didn't; this transit exactly conjunct my mean NN.

That time (Summer 2012) was supposed to be a good one for me, with progressed Sun moving to conjoin my Moon, Venus, and then South Node, and that entire year was the beginning of hell at home. That's when my sister split my forehead open, and I was in pain, and upset, but hadn't even realized that my whole face on that side, was swollen and bruised, until later in the week, when it started to turn yellow and purple (I think I noticed it on the Thursday morning, as I left to spend another work day with my dad). I really don't like Venus retrograde. It always seems to hurt.
