Do you ever pay attention to your Jupiter Return chart? I don't. I barely pay attention to solar return charts. But I thought we might have a place to post our Jupiter Return charts and discuss them. Astro.com does not supply these charts. If you don't know when your Jupiter Return was, consider that Jupiter moves through approximately one sigh per year, and it's currently transiting in Sagittarius. I have Jupiter in Aries natally, which is 8 signs ago (or two trines ago, each trine lasting four years). So I would start by checking an ephemeris for 2010. Then I'd realize Jupiter didn't move into Aries until 2011. The ephemeris supplies the date of the Return. To create an accurate Return chart, note your natal Jupiter's placement down to the second, and with trial and error, find the time when Jupiter transited there. It's tedious, but the chart is good for 12 years. ===

My last Jupiter Return: I've mentioned this many times: my last Jupiter Return coincided with a breakthrough where my husband randomly and generously offered to drive our family down South to visit my brothers and their families. My one brother's sun is exactly conjunct my Jupiter, and we were congregating at his house. I believe this was just after his birthday, a few days after the Jupiter Return. Notably... * Neptune @ 0.00 Pisces, on the DSC * Mars conjunct Uranus, I guess that helps explain the sudden impulse to travel. * Saturn opposing 8H sun-Jupiter looks difficult. This was the last time I saw my nieces and nephews. * 8H stellium and I began studying astrology for real, finally. * Moon-Mercury conjunct my natal Chiron in the 9th; moon in a grand trine with critical ASC and NN. I think I know where I am going with philosophy, only because I am trusting some gut instincts and working more from intuition than conventional assumptions, and going my own way (Aries), but this is risky, and I pay a certain price for being a "maverick." Chart ruler in the 8th opposing Saturn. Or, if my birth time is incorrect, ASC might be in Virgo, chart ruler would be Mercury (possibly in the 8th) conjunct my natal Chiron. Might have more observations later.

Next one ^ Chiron on the DSC Part II * Sun-Mercury-Neptune...for 12 years?! Can't be. Pushing my denial button. * In progression, I will also have moon conjunct Neptune, about 0.17 separating, when this takes effect. (Anyone notice all the glimmery iridescent unicorn merchandise in the stores these days? Maybe I should stock up now.) * Jupiter Return moon squares my natal nodes exactly * Venus as chart ruler, conjunct the NN in the 7th Could be lovely but also deadly.....ASC is conjunct my natal Pluto, and Pluto here is very critical and opposing my natal Saturn which falls in the 10th. If it's my funeral then that is a 10H matter, very public. Uranus is in the 8th and dying is weird.

Avagreat post! Weird, how we do not pay attention to the Jupiter-Return. Maybe because it is so long. I mean 12 years! But especially I should probably pay more attention, after all he is my chartruler. Interestingly the last Jupiter return started in 2010, just 3 months before I was seeing P again (after our first meeting I disappeared for 2 years, and that year I was crossing paths with him again). Interesting. My next one will start in 3 years. Just leaving the charts for reference. BTW my current one fell onto my little brother`s birthday, the next one is on the birthday of my maternal grandmother, whom I never got to meet sadly though, as she died 5 years before my birth.

Re-posting my chart from the other thread: Sorry about all the lines, I should've unchecked "all aspects".
What happened around this time was a series of events that triggered the next big change in my life. That Saturn is on my MC by a couple of degrees, this change is tied in to my career.
"This pathway can sometimes involve the breaking down of old structures, beliefs, ideas and thought patterns. It can also involve the breaking down of relationships, dreams, goals and values.
... Jupiter cycles always bring something new and a new opportunity for positive growth, so most people going through a Jupiter Return will feel like they are starting a brand new chapter in their lives. "
^Yes to both, particularly because there's also a new moon in my chart, so it was a new beginning on that level too.

^ Wait, what...? She was just here!! Hope it wasn't my fault. My memory honestly sucks and I have cycled through topics a few times both here and at LL, so I forget what happened where and what I posted. Often I will use the search engine to check first, but this time I didn't. Thanks for posting your chart....thanks lumina. I'll re-read the other thread and see if there's anything we didn't already say, that I would have asked you about. Just today as I was reading about these charts in a predictive astro book, I had a new appreciation. (My draconic Jupiter return just passed a few months ago, too.)

Thank you, ladies. Best of luck to you, vg. Hope you come back, though! ... lumina "I just never showed up anymore for the following 2 years, until my Jupiter return happened. lol" Jupiter Return IC is conjunct your composite NN with P, right? JR NN squaring the IC-MC axis which is also your composite nodal axis? I think we didn't discuss that on the other thread...no, I'm re-reading more carefully, you said: "P`s Pluto is on 21 LIbra on my Return IC, and our composite NN-Amor-Cupido is on 20 LIbra exact on the Return IC and composite Mars on 23 LIbra, roughly conjunct." One thing we didn't talk about, I think: "BTW the Jupiter return starting in february 2022 for me, will have an exact Venus-Mars-conjunction on 17 Capricorn. lol (and conj. Vesta on 19 Cap)" So this is all on the previous JR's NN. I wonder if the Returns have some kind of ongoing storyline and unfold sequentially. You know? Just like there is cumulative learning at school. It'd be cool if Jupiter Returns worked that way, with one lesson leading straight into the other. I need to check my earlier Jupiter Returns, when there's time. If I want there to be continuity, I can find it, I'm sure? lol 12YearsABlob I love the 0° Libra NN in your chart, it seems like a meaningful time in general...the tropical and draconic charts will oppose each other, so it's almost like yin and yang or surround sound. Wondering what you make of all the emphasis on Libra/7th house/partnerships in this chart. Jupiter on the DSC, Juno on the NN, 7H stellium, Mercury in Libra...I guess, whether you are in a romantic relationship or not, there would be interest how people handle relationships...astrology is part of that. Even your physical, attractive Leo Venus-Mars is in the 6th house and therefore seems like a "study" area...or part-time study Not meaning to pry but the trine to 2H Uranus looks exciting in a tactile, Taurus kinda way. Edit: Also seems like an elaboration on your natal Venus-Jupiter conjunction.

Lol...I like that interpretation of Venus-Mars in the 6th. xD
Ikr, 0° Libra NN. Yes, the draconic one is the exact opposite (and the Neptune/Asc there is on my tropical Venus). That Sun/Moon is on my solar arc Dsc (or Moon/Asc in case of draconic) now. That mars is on my tropical Dsc. You're right, with all that Libra/7th house emphasis, there has been a lot of growth and learning in that area. It's ongoing, of course.. In the context of this specific chart, some of those changes I was talking about earlier were triggered by new personal relationships. Some of whom had personal planets aspecting this chart.
This also kicked off a new phase where my perspective on these 7th house matters started changing. As did the outer "events" related to this.
I still have eight years in this cycle, so...long way to go.
Thank for the song! I have to run now, but saving it for later.

I just read in Celeste Teal`s book about progressing the Jupiter Return. she also states that due to the long duration of 12 years, some aspects can really change. And since I have good, or actually astonishing results, at least in recent years, with progressing Solar Return Moon (and it setting off planets and configurations and usually some major events attached to that time), I guerss it is worth a try.
Also for me (and P too actually) Jupiter disposits our luminaries (both of his, my Sun) and in my case is ruler of my Sag-ASC. So this one is pretty big I guess. Just skimming through the current cycle, which is actually not an easy cylce due to a Venus-Saturn-opposition nested n there, which through progression came up at some point to square Pluto on my natal Venus. and the Moon progressing into that configuration as well, at some point at least, maybe not the same. Anyway it is really intriguing to me. lol
of course only exact or partile orbs "count",a s the progressions are still slowish. for example that Moon-Venus-conjunction had been building inl ate summer and was then becoming exact in the first half of november, actually just days off when the Sun-Uranus-conjunction was exact. However I believe that rather than just hone in on exactness, those progressed configurations possibly need to be set off by transits to set it in motion, so to speak.
But interesting nevertheless.

BTW my current Jupiter return happened exact on my youngest brother`s birthday, and Jupiter is natally in my 3rd house. My brother has natally a Moon-Jupiter-Uranus-conjunction in Sag, so there are sort of some interconnection there. I`ve actually been increasingly spending time with his son, my nephew, who natally has a Moon-Venus-conjunctions, so sometimes it is not ONLY about romance.

Thanks for the heads up lumina, it never occurred to me to progress all the return charts. I don't have my current Jupiter Return chart stored but may recreate and progress it later. Kinda distracted and freaked out to see what I wrote previously: Could be lovely but also deadly.....ASC is conjunct my natal Pluto, and Pluto here is very critical and opposing my natal Saturn which falls in the 10th. If it's my funeral then that is a 10H matter, very public. Uranus is in the 8th and dying is weird. My SR and Mars return for 2021 happen before that Jupiter return (2023), but they have some danger signs written into them. Well it's a precarious time in history and I feel vulnerable to potential losses or abuses. I'll post about my SR and Mars Return in the private readings section and explain.

Ava well I`ve seen some ominous looking Solar Returns for myself, and was wondering about the desasters, but usually there weren`t any too big desasters in those years, but actually some of them preceded very intriguing and exhilarating experiences. Esp. if Uranus was in the mix. (the Saturn years were a different matter).

For example I dreaded this year when seeing it before, especially after the very challenging year before, but though it did not look like it in the beginning, it really became one of the most surprising and nice years. Emphasis on surprise. lol

In fact the "fun began" whe pr SR MOon had come to 5 Cancer and hence squaring that SR Mars (of course these are "hot" degrees in my natal too), SR Moon in applying square to SR Uranus was also surprisingly nice. In fact the real nice and surprising time spanned from when pr SR Moon started to square SR Mars until reaching the square to SR Uranus. The opposition to SR Pluto was a bit challenging though, but don`t forget it meant it was forming an exact square to my natal Pluto at that point, so there were some emotional tensions there, alos having a lot to do with some sort of power dynamic. On the other hand while on an emotional level not easy peasy, it was very successful on a different level, I just remember that in december, shortly before the next SR would take over, I had the appointment with a doctor for a health test, which was condition that Imight become a civil servant after all, which of course had many consequences, also in social and financial way (I had been refused that state years before, because I was too obese. I ws still overweight at that point, but had lost about 50 kilos or so and knew the manipulative tactics and also knew how to turn them round, having realized by then that I have something to offer this county needs, and that is rare - my skill as a Latin teacher, there aren`t that many of us - so mentioning fleetingly that I could imagine leaving this county and going somewhere else, made the doctor and official listen up. lol If you have a Latin teacher you do not want to let them go, cause as I said, not that many of us. lol It certainly helped the result, beside my health test being good.) Anyway I was extremely tensed and nervous, as so much was depending on it, though I was not completely sure I Even really wanted that. lol But anyway, this was sort of a promotion, you could say, though I had to do some other tests in the year following (but at school, in terms of teaching, no more health test). But yeah it was an upgrade in some way. Well Pluto natally is on my MC. nThere you go and now we know how it showed itself.
