Anyone tried one before?
I know i sometimes feel better when i dont eat bread/too much carbs. But i like bread lol.
I try to follow a diet where i get all my nutrients, i do occasionally eat what i shouldnt eat as well.
Lately i have been feeling tired etc. I have had borderline low iron for sometime.
Two things that have been in my diet more often in recent years is black tea(with milk) and diet cola(yes i know its bad...but i like it)
I've been treated for low iron in the past, and was told to avoid tea two hours before or after a supplement because it will inhibit the absorption. I would assume it is the same for diet cola. I do not drink gallons of the stuff, at most a can in a day. Lunch is my main meal of the day, its balanced but i do more often than not start to drink a can of diet cola maybe within an hour of eating my lunch(because i think its refreshing and it helps me avoid feeling sleepy). I used to not drink it at all but then for some reason i started.
So today I eliminated cola from my diet to see if i will start to feel better. Then i will slowly eliminate tea(or just avoid it at meal times)

I have never been able to stick to one, but I need to try. I have some idea of what I can tolerate. Sometimes, a small can of coke can help me with digestion, other times, it's just another thing that makes me sick. I usually drink tea once a day, unless I'm ill and can't tolerate that either.

Sorry to hear that sounds tough but it is good to hear you are on the mend. I was anaemic after having my son and was put on a high dose of iron, i remember feeling terrible, palpitations after going for short walks(and im an avid walker). Think im borderline or non-anaemic iron deficiency now. My iron in normal but really low end normal. Hoping the cutting out DC will help with absorbing more nutrients at lunch time.
I'm on my third day of not drinking cola and i do notice a little difference on how my skin is feeling, perhaps it could be because im replacing those drinks with water too.
