How do you experience the rhinitis if i may ask and what causes it? I think I have something like this, but I haven't been able to get any diagnosis or answers.
My nose basically doesn't work and seems really sensitive to just good old fashioned oxygen. It gets blocked easily and runs easily too especially if it's hot weather. I don't take anything for it, but was advised to not be a vegetarian last time I saw the docs pahaha

I can't remember having sinus problems, since I started to take diatomaceous earth, last month. Food-grade. I've seen other comments about it helping with sinus problems. I can't guarantee that it would help, though.

FruityLlama i get hay fever and have a cat, dust allergies too. I avoid cats lol. When i walk to the train to get to work i have to walk through a grassy area(quite long grass), for the most part im ok but when it gets to the warmer months i feel heavy in my head like the front hurts by the time i get to work but i can live with it as I dont always get a runny nose or sneeze but when its a really warm day with a breeze my eyes water my throat is itchy and i spend alot of time sneezing with a runny nose. Yesterday i went with a friend to the west of the country, it was hot and there was alot of long grass and as its the atlantic coast there was a bit of a breeze. I was fine there for a while but then it kicked in. The air con on the bus didnt help. So i still woke this morning very sore dry itchy throat, and iv been sneezing alot today. The grass pollen count will be high again tomo but will go down a bit during the week. Still managed to have a lovely time though Showers help, changing clothes after being outside, keeping windows closed at night(pollen counts are high at night in summer as well apparenlty), i read also not drying clothes outside would help but i dont want a humid house. If i sleep with the window open at night i do get watery eyes in the morning and need to blow my nose lol. I dont use medicines and just live with it but i would really like to treat it. Did you ever get any allergy tests? There are many seasonal allergens - certain types of tree pollen grass pollen etc...maybe check with you doc pls dnt quote

Gosh vg that sounds like a pain in the you-know-what, I'm sorry you have to put up with that. I do find things like air cons or heaters make me a bit stuffy too- sudden changes of climate or heat seem to set me off too. I did get an allergy test before I saw ENT like 9yrs ago and it came back negative...it is just a constant mystery is my nose haha!!

I give my son nettle in capsule form for his seasonal allergies. It seems to work for him...his symptoms don't last long.
I tried researching this but, as with most natural remedies, the internet says there haven't been enough studies to prove it works.

My friend is allergic to wool. When she comes to me, I offer her pills, but she doesn't use them. She says they don't help. Goes to the hospital for shots, but that is also individual. Be sure to consult with a doctor before choosing pills.

FruityLlama - I think I found something which helps drain the sinus... fresh pineapple (I believe it's because of the bromelain). Obviously you can get the pills, but try fresh pineapple to see if it helps decongest. Another one is a saline nose spray - use in the morning upon waking, and at night before sleeping to 'clear things out'. Having a vibrating device (I have a foreo luna mini) to place on the nose / sinus cavities on the face really helps 'unplug'. Also.. sleep on a high pillow. I've been having some flare ups and it may be impacting my blood oxygen readings on my watch.. I don't know how accurate it is, but it seems to pick up on something. I feel better when the number is higher.
