I like the narrator's voice, and the script is concise and intelligent.
The Chinese takeover is just all too heartbreaking. I tried reading the Dalai Lama's autobiography before, Freedom in Exile, but if I recall correctly, I had nightmares every single night after reading it before going to bed. At any rate, I couldn't even stomach it.
There's footage of the young Dalai Lama (Tenzin Gyatso) smiling. That also gets me emotional. Pisces moon predictability here.
Can't guarantee the accuracy of the story, since TV production tends to have a sensational agenda.

Wow... It's weird that his face is blurry. Some faces seem blurry in that documentary and it's probably just the camera but my first reaction was wondering if they were already like half-ghost, partially dissolved.
