I used iching at this link www.onlineclarity.co.uk/reading/free-online-i-ching/ to obtain guidance for a research project for an MA dissertation a while ago and had got an amazing response, which actually helped me find my topic. This time round, for a further research, I asked which country should I go to. This was the response: People in Harmony: 13 'People in harmony in the wilds: creating success. Fruitful to cross the great river. A noble one's constancy bears fruit. 'People create harmony with one another where they are of like mind and find common cause. They come out from the walls of their villages to forge alliances in the wild country, that is, they seek out common ground where they can meet, beyond the familiar boundaries that usually define the limits of 'people like us'.' So, I get from this I should travel across waters (probably oceans) to a place where large numbers of villagers are taking concerted action. It actually fits the description of a project I have just come across - vast numbers of farmers from different classes and castes have gathered forces to change their agricultural practices. Fantastic! I hope I am not wrong.

This is great. I mean it made me laugh, I was asking the IChing about any development with P, and got "Gathering". In fact at the beginning of july there is a fanmeeting with him coming up, but he avoids the term and rather calls it "Gathering" along with a barbecue. LOL

I actually got the same answer (13) to another question: What do I need to communicate about women farmers?
The response was: 13 People in Harmony changing to 49, Radical change.
To quote -
"There is strength and energy in alliance. People in harmony can commit themselves further, take greater risks as they can cross the river and enter new territories."
Changing to
"It is time for transformation. In the moment of change, there is truth, sincerity and a sure knowledge. Then the power of the whole unfolding creative process, from the source through to fruition and fulfilment, can enter here and change the world. ...The new time is coming."
This fits really well with my findings - that women farmers working collectively are capable of bringing about a paradigm shift.
