anela yeah well I did not rip off anyone`s head, and I was out all weekend long. I mean literally, just went home for a few hours of sleep. which is highly unusual for me, too. And now I am trying to grasp that the weekend is over. lol It did serve well as distracting me, and while I was a bit standing beside myself on friday and saturday, yesterday was perfectly fine again.

Easter was ridiculous here, Mercury Rx all over the place (let's just skip over the details on that one, suffice it to say that my extended family doesn't grasp the concept of an Easter without plastic toys or a ton of sugar). I decided spontaneously that I was sick of putting off moving back into the trailer (at my mom's, so that we can sell our house and build here), so I packed up all of our blankets, clothes, etc. and brought them over--and of course we ran out of propane, and of course it froze last night, so we had to borrow a space heater from my mom (it's a fairly large trailer, so no danger there), and just...omg, stop.

Sorry, I don't mean to dump, but really these Cardinal hard transits are so unpleasant sometimes.

Violets I am sorry to hear that you`ve had such a tough time. For me this easter was also ... different, as I was not spending it with my family (well in 2015 my parents and my brother and me were doing a trip to Cornwall over Easter, so we were not having a traditional Easter either, not even an egg. lol but we were together of course), but this year I was pretty much away from friday to sunday, just coming home for sleeping a few hours. I chose to spend my Easter with a bunch of strangers - okay, loose aquaintances - instead, lots of music, concert, workshop. It certainly was a very different Easter this year. Also meant I wasn`t going to see my brother and his family, including my nephew, but I think I will see them later this week, so it is all good. For me the weekend was exhausting, but not in a necessarily bad way, even though the beginning was very Mercury rx, with some sort of tripping up in communication, too. But all in all it was fine, just pretty much input, that I somehow have to process. lol

Sorry, I don't mean to dump, but really these Cardinal hard transits are so unpleasant sometimes. Yeah they really are.... Today's horoscope, bold mine: "4/3/18 We are through the thickest part of the current cosmic bottleneck, but we won’t likely see much progress right away. We’re hopeful about the future as the emotional Scorpio Moon joins expansive Jupiter. But we’re still restrained by unfulfilled promises now that the Moon forms an anxious alignment with the lingering Mars-Saturn conjunction. Yesterday’s setbacks resonate through today’s circumstances. Thankfully, we can expect movement by tomorrow." My family's got a stomach virus...first my Taurus son, and that was really bad. Then on Easter it was me, my daughter, and another son. I slept most of the day yesterday to try and kill off the stomach pain. Now it's my husband and a third son. My oldest son is "quarantining" himself in his room to try and avoid the plague but it looks inevitable. Fortunately it doesn't seem to last much longer than 12 hours.

Ava sorry to hear that. My family had the same thing happening 2 weeks before Easter; well I got this or another virus, too, but luckily it did not affect my digestive system like that, so no throwing up for me, gladly, but even my mom had to lie down for a day, and I cannot remember a time (except for one time she had food poisoning because of some shrimps) she was actually lying down.

Thanks lumina , Sorry your family had it, too! On the bright side, it's mostly in the past. Speaking of the past, this Mercury Rx, combined with moon-Jupiter on my NN in Scorpio at the moment, makes me sentimental (more than usual) so I've been looking at Teresa Caputo videos and crying. My daughter says, "Oh no! Why are you crying?" Me: "On purpose." Her: "LOL...YOU WOULD."

I'm sorry you had viruses in your families over Easter, Ava and lumina. It does seem to be mellowing out a little here (we refilled our propane tanks, so we were nice and warm last night). We haven't brought our coffee pot yet, so I go over to my mom's in the morning for coffee, and do things like take the garbage to the curb, and this morning everyone has been talking to me non-stop before coffee, lol. My mom can't lift a lot (she has a swollen arm due to having a lot of her lymph nodes removed decades ago, and recently had surgery on her bladder, so I'm glad we're here to keep her from overextending herself).

Yeah that's so nice you can be there for your mom, Violets. ❤️ I'm the same way about coffee, lol..."Shhhhh, don't talk until I have some coffee." My Cancer son usually gets up before me, and now he makes coffee for me (Virgo Mars in his first house, God bless him!)

Ava crying can be so cathartic! Actually, when Lancelot was starting to sing "Hallelujah" on friday, I was dissolving into tears, but very intentionally though. Funny enough however, he started both concerts the weekend with the same song, but that was almost the only common thing (okay, of course he was singing the song from Pope Joan on both occasions, I think you`ll need to extract this song by a surgery from him, he just loves it so much lol), that song being "Go the distance", and even though this seems utterly unlikely that he should have really done that on purpose, I was receiving some short intense glances, at the exact same line, on both occasions. lol Those coincidences! "Down an unknown road to embrace my fate (Though that road may wander, it will lead me to you)" But anyway I am getting distracted here, my crying on "Hallelujah" was on purpose and did not have anything to do with him, but with a moment in my past, just wondering: "What if I had not turned around and simply walked out of the door that night? What if I had stayed?" I know those What-ifs are stupid and do not lead to anything worthwhile, but seems like a very Mercury rx thing to ask. lol

Hi lumina, Trying to connect Hallelujah with the parking lot memory....but you know the odd thing? Around the time you wrote that, I hadn't read it, but I WAS walking across a parking lot with my daughter and I said (did not sing): "I heard there was a secret chord...." and she filled in with the next line, and we went back and forth, just stating the lyrics. Funny coincidence. Mmm, well the pleasure and the pain of that song.... I am still watching Teresa Caputo. Oh wow, I didn't know she's a Pisces moon. www.astrotheme.com/astrology/Theresa_CaputoHer Neptune right on my NN, her nodes the inverse of mine; my draco sun right on her NN. Well what is more Mercury Rx than talking to dead people? Going way back in time.

More Mercury Rx things:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ **Of course, I'd take it with a grain of salt, but good points all the same.

Mercury Rx has been tough and confusing generallytbh(Mercury rules my moon i guess maybe thats why?) plus i have mercury in virgo. But some good did happen;
- Had so many tech issues you wont believe(I work in tech). - My bf's ex is causing drama for him - Have had appointments postponed or cancelled - project that started ended before it started(though i dont think thats a bad thing) - Somethings got revisited and changed in previously completed tech projects - Was talking about my birth plan with my OB and we agreed on what to do now im having second thoughts on that one - Having alot of anxieties lately on various things - One good thing that did happen is that i did get promoted with a pay increase. It could not come at a better time, my rent is ridiculous and so is childcare costs. - I turned up at an appointment early thinking that i was an hour late
Pls dont quote

vg Mercury Rx really is doing a number on people this time around. Well glad you got a pay increase, but sorry about the other stuff and hope that it is going to be sorted out. A colleague told me today her car was being bumped into TWICE in the last week - and she has never had something like that in 20 years! Another colleague told me he was being late because he had been in an accident (just material damage, luckily). and then some other stuff too. lots of cancellations among them. I am not even expecting anything to turn out the way it was planned anymore. lol Not a good time at the moment.

By the time my dad chooses a washing machine, Mercury will be direct again. He keeps finding one that he likes, only to see the one-star reviews, and not want to take the chance. I wish we could afford to just buy one, and try it.
Dad thought his boss had taken care of his cheque, but he's still shorted. They still owe him $300-$400 I think, which is a lot.
My favourite candidate dropped out of the presidential race. The smartest, most competent candidate. I'm alternating between depressed and pissed. When this all began last year, I was unexpectedly excited. Now it's business as usual. Two men that I don't really want to vote for, but will if I have to.
We went to our local Chinese food place, last night. We got there just in time, because they were closing earlier than they used to, and the girl behind the counter told us they were no longer doing "eat-in" dining. We haven't been there for a few months, and this is new, so I hope that it isn't due to people being weird about this virus. I've heard about Asian people not being safe anymore (an LL friend, who lives in Philly), and people have apparently been avoiding Asian restaurants, which is ridiculous. It's just dumb.

Can your dad ask for compensation? If he's owed that amount, is there somebody to talk to? It sucks to have your paycheck shorted like that.

Does the washing machine have to be brand new? During the previous Mer rx, our stove stopped working. I browsed Marketplace (on FB) and found a "like new" stove and microwave for $250. Both are super nice (stainless steel) and do look brand new. And, when this rx started, our dryer went out. Once again, Marketplace helped me out. I got a fancy one for $100. Just wanted to mention it, since it's helped me save so much money, recently. I hope your dad's check situation gets resolved soon. As mentioned above, our dryer went out at the beginning of this Merc rx. We also had a flat tire on one of our vehicles, our water heater went out, and our headlights on one of the other vehicles blew, which resulted in us having to delay a few of our jobs. I'll be so glad when it's all over!

I'm sorry to hear of everything breaking down on you. That was happening to us, especially two years ago. Dad even had a window blow out in one van, and in the other, something on the other van, set on fire, when he was driving. It was around one of the back wheels. He was so lucky he (and nobody else) got hurt.

He did. They gave him his back-pay, but then shorted his cheque for next week. So he went through everything, and is giving it to them tomorrow.
