Do you think empaths(ungrounded) might put on weight easily? I read somewhere once that they do it as a protection barrier. I have to find that article i read but was wondering on opinions

Sounds like an excuse by an empath to justify not trying to lose weight. Given that the weight one puts on is mainly composed of fat - could fat be more immune to energies in contrast to muscle?
On the other hand, I remember iq on LL saying how he had to build a lot of muscle in order to resist the flow of the kundalini through his body. Could be that when there is a greater mass for energies to work through, the effect is lessened.

I don't know about a protection barrier as far as physical weight goes, but I could see unhealthy coping mechanisms as a potential result of feeling consistently overwhelmed.

Not sure how I rate on an empathy scale, it seems to fluctuate, kick in or vanish at random times...
But for whatever it's worth, I watched a video about Pisces/12H moons that was rather long and overall pretty accurate...the woman spends a lot of time discussing the tendency towards emotional eating.
Most of the Pisces/12H moons I've known are not overweight, perhaps because we're a little more desperate than that, many of us are hermits, and we are shielded by our entire homes, so we don't need an extra layer of weight for shielding. A few others rely heavily on their belief systems, "giving it all over to God," which is another habit that also helps with emotional management.

Thanks! I didnt really mean just in terms of over eating. I meant, for example holding on to other peoples emotions, so then you get that little bloated look, your belly expands a little bit. I will find the article.

Oh, I see what you mean. In the Ayurvedic system, one of the three body types, Kapha dosha, is characterized by heaviness, patience, and kindness. Contrary to Western body ideals, Kapha dosha is considered most fortunate, blessed with sturdy health and a long life. Oprah Winfrey is a great example of the balanced strength of Kapha, and it's her ability to empathize and project fairness that inspires people to trust and open up to her.
