Some of you may have read it already. There is a person that receives an incoming call (e.g. question), links into the world of energy (e.g. higher self) and delivers the message (e.g.cards). Claire has to be grounded, find the right connection, watch out that she disconnects, e.t.c. Sometimes Claire wonders This connection is never for free from my experience. With every experience in your life a frequency opens and you have the ability to be a ~Clairsentience (feeling/touching) ~Clairaudience (hearing/listening) ~Clairalience (smelling) ~Claircognizance (knowing) ~Clairgustance (tasting) ~Clairenunciate (communicate) Other experiences are welcomed. Feel free to share!

I think the two can be fused, amalgamated, merged, etc. Or we have a plethora of forums . Incidentally, we contributed to a useful forum on claires in LL, from which bits could be added to your thread GK, and that would serve well as a sticky for this forum or the merged one. EDIT: It has been decided that the name for this forum is Divination arts, suggested by Leeloo and seconded by GK and me.

I'm usually claircognizant. Although in 2013, I remember looking at the fake christmas tree, and being afraid that it was going to set on fire - I just had a feeling. The tree didn't, but my mum accidentally set fire to her bed.
One of the strongest I've had, was when I was sixteen, and burst into tears when I thought a neighbour was going to have my puppy taken from me. It hit me right in the solar plexus. Again, it wasn't the neighbour, but he was stolen from me the following week. Sometimes it's right on, but most of the time I know something will happen, but not *how*.

I had experiences of clairecognizance. I simply "knew". Today I am not that psychic, but I have an active dream life, if that counts for anything... :-)
Being psychic is only good when it serves a purpose, but I guess there are gifted, or advanced, people who simply live in a widened scope of senses. One day everyone will be like that. My wish is to live to see it, even if through different eyes.

I do not consider myself psychic as well, but I had various incidents where I had a deja vu and I did not know what the purpose of it was. I still do not know the purpose and always wonder about it.

Tell me about it. I once had a dream which came true in detail, which thing was amazing, but it was about a video tape I received, not about saving somebody's life... I was amazed, but also disappointed that it didn't serve a nobler goal. It sent me to delve into the occult, though... But whenever I turn psychic again, I hope it has to do with something more significant than a movie a teenager is ardently wishing to have..

I've had really strong deja vu, too. I try to recall if it was a dream, or if I'm just noticing things that have been there for a while, but the latter doesn't count if it's a place or person that's brand new to you.

Imagine you watch a movie and you have a little screen on the top where it shows what is happening in the next few seconds. That is what happened to me in real life at a younger age and I turned it off. On some occasions I was standing at a "restaurant" and I knew that I have been there before, but I was not in real life. I told my daughter to put a significator into her dreams to distinguish between those two types. In the waking life she realizes it afterwards that she was "dreaming" about it. The funny thing for me is that everybody knows afterwords that the past scene was the future.I still do not know what to do with it.

By the way, in the case of the dream I didn't know it was the future until it materialized. So your daughter has this ability too? Perhaps encouraging it within her will trigger this ability in you again.

For me I do not see any use to see the future. I do try to learn my daughter to live with it. May I ask: Why do you want to see the future?

I guess there is no point in seeing the future unless it serves a purpose, that being true for every esp. I think what happened to me triggered me more to study the occult. It could also point one to the right direction in life, or prevent a disaster. For me it was a one-time happening, as incredible as it was. For you, if I understood correctly, it was on a daily basis. You could have trained this ability for some useful purpose, I guess. Like being more prepared for what happens, or perhaps even changing a bad event by foreseeing it. But did it annoy you so much you had to turn it off?

I saw the future and could not change it except one time where I saw someone dying and told her to do something. She is still alive, but did not say thank you. It was quite the opposite. You are absolutely right that I wanted to see the next thing in order to get prepared and my daughter dreams about the next test and gets good marks. My experience was made at a different time. I am and would be delighted whenever you can tell me one day a good purpose to see the future.

You may have saved this person's life, regardless of her being ungrateful. That is good enough a purpose. Sometimes with the reason comes the ability. And sometimes with the ability comes the reason.

I have experiences sort of like that. For the sake of simplicity, I always call them "hunches". But they're rarely wrong.
