David Cochrane made videos about The Golden Mean in Astrology.
It is something that I got interested in 9 years ago.
Theodor Landscheidt proposed that Golden Mean aspects were important in Astrology.
The Golden Mean is also known as the Golden Ratio, divine proportion, etc. The value is approximately .618 but you can also think of it as .382 (the other part of the proportion) or, as explained below, 1.618.
The Golden Mean has unique properties:
1/1.618 = .618
.618 x .618 = .382 so a Golden Mean of a Golden Mean is Golden Mean
The Golden Mean shows up in nature in many ways.
Dan Winter found that the golden ratio is part of the DNA helix.
137 1/2 degrees (137.5078) is the Golden Mean Aspect.
A Golden Mean of the Golden Mean Aspect = 137.5078 * 0.618 = 84.98 degrees.

Sunflowers,pineapples,pine cones,etc. have patterns based on the golden mean aspect of 137.5 degrees.
