Not sure anyone wants to play along, but I`d like to play the game in which we have a look at some vital synastries or even composite, but AFTER eleminating the transpersonal planets.
What would this comparison say about your and your friend/ significant other/ crush/ relative, if you were only using Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, ASC, MC and nodal axis? (with the addition of Jupiter, Saturn)

Oh, hm. Off the top of my head, Venus trine Venus, Moon trine Moon, His Moon conjunct my Vertex (does Vertex count on this?), His NN conjunct my Dsc, My NN trine his Venus and Sun (so his Sun/Venus, my Venus, and my NN complete a grand trine). His Moon trine my MC (so his Moon/my Vertex, my Moon, and my MC complete a grand trine). His Mars conjunct my Mercury (not that fun, actually), his Mars conjunct my Dsc... As we both have Venus quincunx Moon in natal, his Moon is square my Venus (oh well). His Mercury conjunct my Moon (thus opposite my Sun and square my Nodes). Eh. That's all I can think of off the top of my head. My Isis conjunct his Osiris. Sorry, had to throw that in there.

Violets, can you post the chartimage? I am a visual creature when it comes to astrology.

Okay, let me try this again... Of course, I may edit it out later. Ugh. It didn't add aspect lines to the axes. I'm having an issue uploading an image for some reason... Let me try an attachment.

I hate to be such a nuisance, but could you post the normal synastry chart with the synastry aspects shown instead of one natal and the other natal just as transits in the outer circle?
The thing is I want to see geometrical figures mostly.

I like our Yod (although it involves Saturn, to be technical regarding the thread). My SN/his Saturn and his Venus/Vertex as the base, and his Moon/my Vertex as the apex. I don't believe I've given that much thought in the past, just noticed it in passing without taking Vertex/SN into consideration. Oh hey, we also have a kite when my NN is added, and his Saturn/Venus sextile is added. Interesting.

We're pretty committed, lol. Despite the outer planet craziness of our family, there's been a very "meant to be" feeling, literally from the first time we met. Thank you for noticing, and for your feedback! I was a "marriage is a crock" person most of my life, until we met. 😁

Yes, and that "meant to be" is on the Basis of PERSONAL compatibility not a learning or eveolutionary Thing mostly. I find leaving out the outers occasionally opens up the view on that very Basic compatibility or lack thereof or coherence. Whenever the outers are in there, I seem to overemphasize them, but actually as important as they are (oh yes they are!), the longterm potential and every-day interaction is being decided on that Basic Level. At least I think so.
Oh and btw personally I love our Mercury-Mars-conjunction. Ist very sparkly, though sometimes I guess I ruffle his feathers a bit, it has happened, but somehow we understand that about each other I guess. Possibly it helps that he has Mercury-square-Mars-natally, he is no stranger to that energy. lol In fact I guess I might be the one being a Little more thin-skinned in this regard, or maybe not.
well my 3rd house ruler - Neptune) is conjunct Mars natally. his 3rd house ruler Mercury is square Mars for him.
plus our 3rd house rulers and 4th house rulers are conjunct right there on my ASC. there is some undercurrent of understanding there.

I think im much less visual when it comes to looking at charts, for some reason. I do it occasionally when I see patterns, of course. But it's actually easier for me to look at degrees, signs, and house placements separately, lol. And I'm not particularly gifted at reading other people's synastries or charts, other than observing rather obvious aspects. But I can contribute more to your study/theories by posting the synastry chart of my dad and step-mom... They've been married for 35 years, so I think they're probably a pretty safe bet on longevity. They've had their issues and bicker like most people who have been married for a number of years, but very "together" in spite of some basic differences. Sorry I can't add more, I leave analysis up to you for now.

Wow, lol. I've never looked at their synastry chart before today! But well, they love each other, have been through the good, the bad, and the ugly without infidelity (that I'm aware of, as they've been pretty inseparable this entire time), so... No wonder they bicker, haha.

@ceri what orbs do you use for synastry, out of curiosity? The same you would use for a natal chart, or a little tighter?

@ceri do you use that for everything, like Nodes and Vertex, etc (barring asteroids, of course)?

@ceri Ah, thanks. I think that seems like a sound perspective. I'm not an expert by any stretch of the imagination, but I do have a preference to not go overboard with wide(ish) orbs generally, unless it seems very obvious and observable.

@ceri Eh, sorry for the multitude of questions... But uh, do you use the same orb when looking at conjunctions with Midpoint synastry?
