Biblialexa

Asteroid (*51898 need to be correct*) 51895, Biblialexa, was discovered on August 19,  2001, by Petr Pravec and Peter Kusnerak at Ondrejov, Czech Republic. Biblialexa has a period of 5 years, 78 days and is slightly less than 4 1/2 miles in diameter.

It was named for the Bibliotheca Alexandrina,  a library in Alexandria, Egypt originally established in antiquity and re-established in 2000.

Astrologcally, Biblialexa seems to indicate reading, writing, books, libraries or archives; well-read, reading books, bookish, "read the fucking manual," need to "hit the books."

Sorry to hear that you feel isolated. Please believe me, you have done nothing to offend anyone. In fact, you are a valued member of this forum.

Maybe people are busy and spending the little time they have on other astrology topics that interest them more.

I personally think that some aspects are too wide for me to comment on. In this instance, Biblialexa Square Pallas Athena 4° 34'
and Biblialexa Square Juno 4° 20' are too wide to consider. If you are taking aspects wider than 2 degrees between asteroids, then there would be 1000s of asteroids influencing those aspects - which would be impossible to interpret. I prefer to stick to the strongest influences. Think about it like this - our lives are influenced by so many things - our interests, the people surrounding us, friends and family, things we read, our work situation, the weather, politics, our health, our finances and so on. These change every day. In this midst, a slight influence by a distant star or asteroid hardly matters.

I find asteroids are most interesting when they reveal a past life story. Biblialexa Trine Atlantis 0° 5' in your case could be showing that you were involved in a library in Atlantis, maybe you were an important librarian there.

These aspects are great - they reveal your love of books.

You are finaly right, about my orbs 4° 34  and 4° 20' . Is too far, indeed. But these aspects are not great also like them that you refer above? :
2° degrees are not so far away. What do you think? Of course, exact, is the more preferable.

Sweet Trine DNA 2° 33',  Sweet Conjuct Mercury, 3° 30 "You are so sweet" persons say to me. "You have sweetnes inside you"

Hilaritas (humor )Trine Mercury 4° 28'  I played very fun comedies in my community. Really, It works! And in everyday life also. I do not know, but people without know my chart tell to me, " You have humor" "I like your humor"

Hilaritas Trine Uranus 3° 11' means strong and somehow exaģerated humor, I think.

Thalia (Comedy) conjuct 3° 24 'Mercury

Charis Trine Mercury 4° 28' again.  I think this aslect means  charm in movements, and in  the communication. People tell me that I am charming, attractive.

Please, explain me, what is happened? The orbs work in me! We were discuss this topic again, in the previous months. And then, you tell me that I am more " sensitive " than others to vibrations.

@Lionessmind , all I can say is that these asteroid aspects underline your enthusiasm for books. Minerva, goddess of wisdom, trining Biblialexa is a nice aspect. You gain wisdom from books and reading. It nurtures your spirit and interest in astrology.

The square with Neptune may indicate that the knowledge you gain from books could contradict your intuition. Trying to integrate the two could be challenging.

Incidentally, I'm starting my PhD studies this month and may find it hard to read all posts.

My Biblialexa @ 26.06 Pisces is conjunct Hecuba (queen of Troy during the Trojan War). The moon is transiting there now.

Biblialexa-Hecuba also conjunct Pallas. The way I have my chart rectified, I have the asteroid Apollo (Hecuba's lover) in Leo, quincunx my sun, exact to the minute.

I also have Hecuba exactly quincunx to the IC, exact to the minute. Transiting Biblialexia is there now, @ 26 Libra.

I have Biblialexa in the 10th house sextile Uranus in 12th. Also trines Spirit. And that's it for close aspects.

Biblialexa - 2.53 Gem
Uranus - 2.15 Leo
Spirit - 2.23 Libra

It is interesting that the examples Mark Andrew Holmes provides are not very convincing for Biblialexa being a lover of books: 

JK Rowling has Biblialexa square Saturn and trine Ixion.
Dan Brown has Biblialexa square Juno, Pandora and Varuna.
Daniel J. Boorstin, a former Librarian of Congress, had Biblialexa conjunct Pandora, square Mars and trine Nessus.

Somehow the square aspect seems to be key here.

I don't always agree with Mark A H on his interpretations of asteroids. For example, I have Archimedes conjunct Mercury:

Archimedes 13.56
Mercury 13.57

I interpret that as being a curious person who likes to share information about her discoveries. Remember Archimedes excitedly ran into the streets shouting 'Eureka'. Mark A H, however, sees people with prominent Archimedes spiralling upwards or downwards in their lives. Wierd!

I have this at 12 Pisces, square Neptune, and trine Saturn.

I'm not sure about this asteroid, to be honest. I know of 3 people who read A LOT. My friend, who reads for a couple of hours every single day. She'd read 1-2 books per week. I witnessed that when I lived with her. My sister also reads every day. She even has a bookish account on TikTok, which is quite popular. She reads a book per week. My dad also reads a lot now, even more, when he was younger. All 3 of them are very intelligent and know a lot, and could talk about any topic really. None of them have this astroid aspecting anything. Only my sister has it opposing Jupiter at 2 degrees, which is considered too wide for an outer planet.

I, on the other hand, have it conjunct Mercury (my CR), but I don't read much at all these days.  I don't consider myself a well-read person and I am certainly not a know-it-all

Did you see very well the natal charts, of your sister and your father? There are many astrological aspects, not so much known, for exable, Semi-Decile (Vigintile, 18),  Quintile (72),  Bi Quintile, (144),  Decile, (36)  Novile, (40),  Bi Novile (80),  Septile (51), Tredecile (108),  Bi Septile (102), that people sometimes, ignore as not so strong, or they don't now, them.

Jupiter, is not outer planet, only Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, and 2 degrees are not too far

I am sure, that their Biblialexa aspecting some of them. And you have Conjust Biblialexa / Mercury, but Saturn? Biblialexa, Saturn?

I agree with midnight . I have been a book worm since I could read and so is my son. My son does not have Biblialexa aspecting anything. If this were an asteroid which means lover of books, then it should be prominently placed rather than only show up as a very minor or wide aspect. It is possible that Mark Andrew Holmes' interpretation is not the correct one.

'Alexa' or Alexandria seems to mean the defender or defender of mankind. 

If so, I am wondering if biblialexa could mean a defender of knowledge. Or someone who defends reason or logic or stands by their opinions (just the way I am doing now). I have some way out beliefs that I stand by which may explain the Uranus sextile Biblialexa in my case. It also makes sense to me that midnight has it conjunct Mercury as she often communicates her viewpoints and brings logic and sense to a discussion.

You @Lionessmind , for example, are defending your viewpoint such as your belief in the how this asteroid should be read in charts, so it is no surprise that it is well aspected in your case.

A correction: Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune are all outer planets.

I think we need to investigate new asteroids with an open mind. Mark A H is by no means the final arbiter of what these asteroids represent.

Yes @astrokeen ,😀 although, my impression is that if I have Biblialexa/Urania Trine, the fact that many years I am reading much astrology, or the fact Biblialexa/Amor, and love astrology books, (Especially Sidereal), or also Biblialexa/Erato, (muse of erotic poetry), exact Novile 0° 6',and I love, to read love stories, 💏 how can you explain?

Any way, thank you for correction, about Jupiter. And, is trouth I defend my right to read, from my childhood, because my mother really hate books, she loves only religious books.

And i am also agree, that we have investigate new asteroids, with open mind. There is also an other asteroid  about reading too, as asteroid 30722 Biblioran to investigate, or Educatio 2400.

Oh! I have this conjunct my AC by 2 orbs, widely square Uranus by 3 orbs, very widely square MC by 5 orbs. And yes, I really love to read, even the billboard lol. I usually read fantasy or mystery books. My favorites are Dan Brown's books.

I don't think Biblialexa is the only indicator for book lovers. Classically, we need to look at Gemini, Virgo, Aquarius, Libra placements, even Pisces or Taurus (because, art, duh), 3rd or 9th house, Mercury/Hermes placement and aspects.

But let's see how this asteroid plays in celebs' chart who love to read.
