This is one of the most intriguing takes on the 12th harmonic aspects I have ever heard. (starts at appr. 7:17) I always struggle with the meaning of the semisextile; something tells me it is much more important than we give it credit for (after all the zodiac is built on this aspects and its multiples!), but somehow I cannot quite grasp it. I do have Venus semisextile Mars, granted not in the exact orb he mentioned, but just under 1 degree. of course it spreads out for that reason in the 12th harmonic or Dwad chart because 1 degree orb in the natal would come up as 12 degrees in the Dwad chart. the orbs are different in harmonic charts as you take the orb for conjunction (Cochrane uses 16 degrees, Hamblin uses 12 degrees, and divides that through the harmonic number of the aspect; so opposition would be 16 or 12 degrees divided by 2, square by 4 etc, giving orbs of: conjunction: 16° / 12° opposition: 8° / 6° trine: 5/ 4° square: 4° / 3° sextile: 2,5°/ 2° (I actually prefer the Hamblin orbs, they give even numbers. lol and they reflect the number of this harmonic ) Might sound weird with those orbs, esp. square and trine, but we need to remember that we are not talking about natal trine and square but about minor aspects. Those are just squares and trines in relation to the 12th harmonic. Also by this calculation method it is ensured that the relation of the orbs stays the same, no matter what harmonic we use. Or something like that at least. lol Personally I still like to see those really tight orbs at around 2-3 degrees, whcih in the natal chart would be insanely close: That would be like an aspect within 10-15 minutes in natal. LOL I swear I did not calculate it before, but I actually just stumbled across the exact same tight orb Cochrane mentioned in his video. lol (the larger orbs are still valid of course, but anything that close, it is like making an inseparable unit in ones personality I suppose) Well my 12th harmonic chart (just looking at it, well, just getting the sense it wants to tell me something, and I am just not seeing the forest for the trees. lol)

and like usually I forgot the minor triangle between Uranus-Jupiter and Venus. lol Well natally Venus is conjunct Jupiter/Uranus-mp by 10 minutes of orb, being sextile URanus and Jupiter by 4-5 degrees each.

Hi lumina , Thanks for that video. "The semisextile gives a deeply ingrained quality to the person. It is difficult to think of the person in any other way, other than in terms of these two planets." I have Venus semisextile Uranus with no orb. They are conjunct in the 96th harmonic with only 0°03 orb. (It's curious because I also have Mars sextile Jupiter with no orb, but they are over half a degree apart in the 96th harmonic, and on different degrees.) Do people see me as a Venus-Uranus type of person? I'm looking at lists of celebrities with Venus conjunct Uranus, for comparison: astro-charts.com/persons/aspect/Venus-Conjunction-Uranus/www.astrotheme.com/astrological_aspects_of_celebrities.php?page=1Some magicians there: David Copperfield, JK Rowling, John Edward and James Van Praagh the psychics, Elizabeth Montgomery of Bewitched, Marianne "If we all pray, the hurricanes will dissolve" Williamson. Also many famous poets/songwriters. Cat Stevens /Yusuf 🙏🏻 There's probably a tendency to inflate/distort/aggrandize the love interest (case in point, Miley Cyrus and "Wrecking Ball.") Ha at least I'm not guilty of that.
(The distortion, I mean. I do keep a wrecking ball in the bedroom... But who doesn't?)

Well my 12th harmonic chart (just looking at it, well, just getting the sense it wants to tell me something, and I am just not seeing the forest for the trees. lol) lumina, I love the geometry of your chart. What immediately jumped out for me was that your Mercury closely trines MC/IC, which in turn sextile Ceres/Neptune. Your MC ruler Venus is in Gemini, disposited by Mercury (again). And you are a teacher!
Chiron completes this configuration (in Sag, of all signs). I think it has a role to play in teaching as well - as a compassionate teacher.

Do people see me as a Venus-Uranus type of person? Hmm, I can see that. The story of your engagement was pretty Uranian. Admiring people for their unique qualities, the "maverick" type person who can do it all, or is particularly gifted at something (thinking of Uranus as a more high-strung mercury). Not sure if I remember right, but wasn't it that kind of spirit that initially attracted you to your husband? Also, placing value (Venus) on friendship (Uranus).. Things like that. Also many famous poets/songwriters. Cat Stevens /Yusuf 🙏🏻 There's probably a tendency to inflate/distort/aggrandize the love interest (case in point, Miley Cyrus and "Wrecking Ball.") Yo, isn't that Neptune?

As for me, I have this Moon-Chiron/Venus-Mars t-square.
Moon: 12 Cap (on nNN, nNeptune, nUranus)
Chiron: 13 Cancer, Venus: 16 Cancer, Mars 12 Aries
Sun: 23 Cap (square nSun)
Ceres: 23 Aqua (on my nMoon) Nodes: 12 Virgo (widely on nVenus) Merc: 23 Taurus opp Pluto 21 Scorpio, sextile 19 Neptune Virgo (I have a wide Merc-Neptune quintile/biquintile natally, not sure which series the Pluto aspect belongs to) Saturn 4 Aries square Asc/Dsc 5 Cap

Ava I was thinking the same as 12YearsABlob . The whirlwind romance definitely fits Venus-Uranus or vice versa. Not sure however Venus-Uranus-conjunct is the same. was actually surprised about the definition of the semisextile.

12YearsABlob thanks for the delineation, yes, it makes sense in terms of me being a teacher. The stellium of Moon, Saturn and Juno is interesting. actually it also involves my own name asteroid, Lancelot (LOL) and well karma is a bit out of orb though in the natal it is within roughly 1-1,5 degrees, oh and Pandora is around there, but actually in the 12th harmonic chart on 16 Libra opposing Uranus exact. yeah I can`t help it I suppose. ROFL anyway as for the stellium it is like this: (Lancelot 21°27 Libra) Saturn 23°29 Libra Juno 23°38 Libra my name 23°47 Libra Moon 25°17 Libra it happens because of this natal configuration Lancelot 16°47 Scorpio Moon 17°06 Aquarius Juno 16°58 Pisces my name 16°59 Taurus Saturn 16°57 Cancer Well it means that Moon is semisextile my Juno and quinkunx my Saturn, with Juno trining Saturn pretty closely. I do think there is a difference though between a conjunction and a semisextile or other aspects. Hmm, in a way it means that Moon falls into the 12th house from my Juno, and Juno into the 2nd house from Moon, I wonder if with the semisextile that is in the 12th house from the planet, there is a possibly deeply ingrained connection, but somehow also a bit of a blind spot, like we can`t *quite* see/ grasp it, even though it is clearly there. For example I think the Juno-Saturn-trine makes a lot of sense to me, I do tend to be rather constant in terms of my commitments/ friendships etc. or at least striving to be. Moon quinkunx Saturn makes sense too, there is a certain insecurity or swinging back and forth, something that does not feel entirely comfortable like I always have to make adjustments, improve my emotional being to "get it right". The Moon-Juno-semisextile is interesting. But well it is true that defined commitments (no matter what the nature of the relationship) give me a sense of security and validation (Juno in the 2nd house from Moon), but at the same time I am often pretty surprised once I actually get into that commitment (which is always a bit well, Juno is In Pisces. lol), I am surprised about the emotional impact those have, of course a little irrational, my Moon is in Aqua after all, but it is like once a comitment or friendship or contract is put in place, then over a bit of time I start realizing that all kind of emotions creep up on me. and I am often like: Oh, so That is what it`s about? at certain points and for most of the time not even having a clue how to define the emotional nature of that relating. I think that might be quite different to someone with a natal Moon-Juno-conjunction, where those two are more like a real unit and working hand in hand, more like becoming one trait, whereas with the semisextile the connection might be deeply ingrained, but they are not quite the same.

12YearsABlob Moon-Chiron-Venus-Mars, wow, looks like a lot of baggage, possibly, but also like a lot of potential depth and emotional/ sexual healing. Mars on the Moon/Chiron-mp. Ever thought of becoming a reiki master or something with massages?

The Moon-Juno-semisextile is interesting. But well it is true that defined commitments (no matter what the nature of the relationship) give me a sense of security and validation I think that echoes the theme of Moon-Saturn/Cap moons as well.. Commitment = security. That's probably why those moons are more affectionate later in the relationship as opposed to the "honeymoon" phase. Because they're not fully relaxed in the initial stages..
It's great that you were able to pinpoint which natal configuration it all came from. The "blind spot" you speak of makes sense because of the quincunx. How on earth do you reconcile the two energies? But they want to work together, or there would be no aspect. Maybe it just takes some getting used to, like you said. After all, Saturn co-rules Aquarius. Aqua is also a "fixed" sign, so it doesn't fight the Saturn code on that level.
I can see the Moon-Juno-Saturn undertone in you as well. You have a no-nonsense air about you, yet you don't outright dismiss other people's ideas without giving them enough thought (figures that this conjunction is in Libra - everyone gets a fair shot). Oh and, not to insert myself into your story, but that conjunction is on my Sun.. Ha.

Ava Why were you looking up the 96th harmonic? Dohh. Come on. 16 harmonics is not enough. As a real astrologer, you have to go further than that. Much further. In fact, astro.com reported in their monthly update that users were going so far as the 196th harmonic. They said they couldn't release names for privacy reasons. But I'm pretty sure it was Ava . She's just easing us into it with the 96th.

Thanks for your thoughts, 12YearsABlob . Yes, just noticed a lot of Venus-Uranus people also seeming to struggle with a love that's too exalted, stimulating...too much. Maybe craving excitement to the point where things get warped (Michael Jackson), or tumultuous (Elizabeth Taylor), or feeling dwarfed/controlled by the love...feeling completely at its mercy. Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone, Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone, Silence the pianos and with muffled drum Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.
Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead Scribbling on the sky the message He Is Dead, Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public doves, Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.
He was my North, my South, my East and West, My working week and my Sunday rest, My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song; I thought that love would last for ever: I was wrong.
The stars are not wanted now: put out every one; Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun; Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood; For nothing now can ever come to any good.
- W H Auden, Venus conjunct Uranus in Capricorn (notice all the "modern" technology mentioned there) Venus-Neptune is softer and more like the song "Halo"...it's adoring and yearning, but at some distance. It doesn't seem to require as much engagement as Venus-Uranus. On the contrary Venus-Neptune can be elusive, standing back and being in its feels, without the other person even knowing. Well that's just what I'm thinking of this morning. Your Venus-Mars-Chiron-moon looks super difficult but as lumina was saying, it seems to give you extra potential in the healing arts. If you can sublimate and direct your tensions. And I think you're already doing that very well, like getting through hardship has given you a lot of emotional balance and poise. lumina , I am basically stuck on your Mystic Rectangle there. A sextile in the 12th harmonic means....the planets' natal degrees are 5° apart? (2.5 x 2) I was looking at the 96th harmonic because I thought a square in the 12th harmonic meant a conjunction in the 48th (12 x 4), so I tested that and was right, and then I wondered what would happen if I doubled that.

That whole deal is Venus-Uranus, in that context, I see what you mean..

I'm the prophet about that because in the 196th harmonic, my sun is exactly conjunct Neptune, and they are tightly conjunct the ASC and DSC. Jupiter is exactly on my south and north nodes in that chart, so teaching is where I come from and where I'm meant to go.... Seriously though, thanks for mentioning this, I like my 196th harmonic chart, there's a kite: 20 Aries Mercury 20 Gemini Nodes 19 Leo Mars 20 Sag Jupiter
