Why I am switching to Equal House system

FruityLlama from one Chiron on IC, Saturn on MC to another... I just wanna say I feel ya. Now your equal house feels very different. When something hit your saturn, does it make you feel like you are torn between being private and secretive and openly expressive?
I'm not sure whether its when something transits my natal Saturn (I am really bad at following my transits!) but generally yes, weirdly enough my parents think I am an open book but when out and about I am actually not very open with people unless its necessary to be. I'm not secretive, I just can't be bothered haha!! That's not to say I am cold either, I am expressive but I give people tit-bits of info here and there. 

it seems like a good career choice for Placidus chart is a college professor (philosophy regarding relationships) while the equal house one is a psychologist who undercover others' deeper, more emotional place in private. The equal house has sun and moon in 10th, so very driven, hierarchical, law-abiding identity.
Hmm, how odd you say that because part of me enjoys teaching others, but as I got older I was drawn to the equal house one. I am in the healthcare profession that deals with the emotional/psychological side as well as actually treating people. I am a conservative person yes! 

Mars in 1st is active. Ruler of 5th in 5th, ruler of 6th is in 5th so you're all about creativity, the act of creating things, creative jobs. Your creativity lets you assert yourself and well as understand how you see yourself (mars in 1st, ruler of mars in 10th). Ruler of Sun-Moon in 9th is extra flighty, happy, experimental.


Placidus has venus in 10th, so public image is extra important and somehow related to your relationships, possibly wanting a partner that complements you professionally. Also since venus rules the home, you don't seem to have much of a home life, or your home life is somehow on public view. Ruler of all that scorpio stuff are in 2nd, so your creativity feels a bit ignored (intercepted) but also used to create income or give you a sense of self-worth which then give you more friends (sun-moon in 11th).

Also you are emotionally invested in how your friends and circle view you, not just trying to keep it tight and professional like equal. In placidus, your view about emotional transformation, sex and taboo topics affect your relationships and your philosophy/world views. You might not even be able to explain your world view without going in-depth about what happened in the 8th. Your 8th house activities are in a more private space if it's equal house system.

Yeah, if I put my mind to it and had more time I would love to delve into my creative side. I used to write a lot of poetry which got published when I was younger and that does help to rearrange my thoughts so that I express them but cryptically Creating things from scratch feels amazing and a real accomplishment but as you said, it gets intersepted into other aspects of my life now, which I suppose is what happens when you get older. I do try and make use of things too, everything I do tends to have a practical element to it. 
My home life is something I wish I had time to enjoy more. Presently, there is not much as I am still technically a student. Can't wait to get rid of my student status to be honest, its dull after a while. I do hope in future I will have a work-life balance but lets see. 
I am emotionally invested in connecting with people. I don't care that much about what they think of me- I used to be very much, but I haven't the energy to care what people think about me, my relationships etc. 
I am very opinionated about 8th house matters and my world view is very much attached to something that happened in the 8th, yes. There is anger there actually. 

In sum, I resonate with placidus that bit more..I think.. but I suppose they reflect each other in a way. I do feel as though having my luminaries in 9th is somewhat reflective of them being in the 11th- both are in a way extroverted. I am not an extrovert really, but I mean I am interested in connecting and making people feel better. I am interested in the world itself and do enjoy learning as much as I can. My basic philosophy is that it's hard enough for most people to make friends so I just think, well I'll be everyone's friend then!!

If my rectification is correct, my Venus is trine Leo ASC, so it's hard to differentiate. But I can say, I'm not like my Cancer Venus friend. When her boyfriend upsets her, she cries. She's soft-hearted. When my exes or husband have upset me, I'm more egotistical and have either left, tried to leave, or taken an approach like, "How dare you?!" Which is more like Leo Venus, I guess.

Yes I love home decors, but I have Libra Pluto ruling my NN, so that is like a calling, to create a nice atmosphere. I'd say transits to my 9H Jupiter tend to affect 5H matters (?) because most of my children have their Jupiter aspecting mine. Tr Saturn conjunct my Jupiter spoiled all my fun, that's 5H.

My moon trines Uranus w/ 12° orb, but my draconic Uranus is conjunct my moon. Definitely, I regarded my mother as eccentric, and then her passing marked me as an oddball, someone with a different type of home situation. 4H Uranus fits for me since my husband has an exact sun-Uranus conjunction so I live with the ups and downs of that. Many of my friends have no idea I'm into this. Astrology (Uranian) is something I do in the privacy of my home (4H). And my astrology friends, almost no one knows my last name and who I actually am, like I'm not on FB and don't (won't) connect forum life with my real life. However, if I ever win the lottery and get a big house with a bar, amazing stereo equipment, dance floor and disco ball, you are all invited to come over...it'll be a different kind of "Dancing with the Stars."

Well Venus-Neptune is creative wherever you put it...is your art output cryptic, private, dark (8H)? Is it strange and something you would only explain or get into with people you know very well?

They are cryptic, dark, revealing of who i am because i do put on a happy face (Aries moon is quite a ppl pleaser in that sense). I’m kinda scared when I put out my arts this year that ppl would go... “who are you?”

I don’t think venus in 4th is like venus in cancer. I think astrologers confuse house vs signs a lot. I have venus in Capricorn... even if it’s in 8th im not a Scorpio venus. I don’t follow emotional cues like stream of waters running towards the river... I still have rules and regulations- even with that Neptune conjunction. In personal interaction I’m still that stiff reliable earth you can count on, I still value things of substance.., also things that are just pretty and materialistic at time. Scorp venus don’t care you’re pretty or not if there’s an emotional rapport... I care about the superficial packaging too, it’s not everything but it’s nice to have.
Your venus in Sag is never gonna be needy, but if it’s in 4th it might not be out and open. Venus in 5th will like going on dates, light hearted playful things that don’t have to go anywhere. When you use to date, did you enjoy the process? Do you still want to go out on little dates with your daughter or girl night with your friends?

Also something like north node or generational planets, do you know anyone in your circle caring as much about home decors? I know plenty of libra in 4th, or even libra venus. Some even enjoy going out all the time but just with their SO, not in a group situation or girl night out. Being alone in a crowd like concerts is fine but not having a group of friends hiking together or going for brunch every Sunday.., (they might go through a phase like that but go back to being with only SO).

So your art is unknown so far. Well I tend to think people are more adaptable and have more potential for acceptance than we give ourselves credit for, and what we think we'll be judged for, sometimes people rave about and celebrate. My Aqua Mercury adores surprises so for a happy person to display a more intense and darker art, that's compelling to me. And I'm sure others appreciate the same thing, so I'm inclined to predict it'll work out well for you.

My first boyfriend, that was a Cap, it was serious even though I was only 15, we planned to get married. It's hilarious but even now I am pretty sure that would have been a good marriage, if we lived in some other country where it was legal to marry that young.

My next boyfriend I have referred to as my ex-soulmate and we were lighthearted until we got romantic which hit us like megaton bricks. (See, this wouldn't have happened if I had been smart and married the Cap when I was 15.) Anyway, when that ended, yes I was lighthearted in dating and usually very quick to leave. Somehow I remained friends with most of those guys, and I think if I met them at a party now we would hug and just be happy to catch up, no hard feelings. The overall picture is more 5H, fun, laughing, good times, than heavy emotional bonding and whatever else goes on with 4H Venus. And my husband's a Leo so that automatically tilts the circumstances in a 5H direction, because he can be really adventurous. He's still asking me if we can sail around the world. (My 8H Pisces moon square Neptune is afraid of death by drowning, so the answer to that is, "You can go without me. Have fun!!!")

I think everyone cares about it but what I've noticed with Scorpio NN and Libra Pluto is a tendency towards privacy, minimalism, basic elements, and shaking away baggage...there can be too much Taurus SN baggage, psychological or physical, like memories that are too intoxicating to drop, and items that are linked to memories. But then as we evolve, we want less stuff and more room for possibility, only keeping those things we know we absolutely value. A common theme with my childhood friends is excess and "trying to get rid of stuff." My one friend said her dining room is just full of boxes of memorabilia and whatnot.

This is a long process because Taurus is slow so I can't say we stand out as especially talented with interior design...my Libra NN/Pluto Snake friends are better with that. I think Scorpio NN is trying to shrink its life, concentrate on what it values most, and then just prize whatever has stood the test of time. Minimalists-in-training. I forget why I started talking about this but have to run so I may edit later.

Ava yes its unknown because i just made the leap last year, which did give me some positive responses from galleries and people who have degrees in arts (which I dont have, another nod to this worry of not being good enough of saturn on MC). I come off very "corporate" in real life, everything is very clear-cut with me.

That is so cool about pluto in libra and North Node in Scorpio. I think minimalism was started by pluto in libra natives so it makes sense. Also all the clean, edgy aesthetics we've been seeing for the past 20 years-ish.

another factor was the polar region
every house system breaks down except for whole sign and equal house systems
even high latitudes below the arctic circle get lead to extremely uneven charts
