Hi,
What do you think would cause someone to attract people with strong chiron?
putting this here as its relationship related
I dont know if my chiron would be considered prominent - its not on an angle there are no real tight aspects. It is at the apex of a t square between my dsc ruler, mars and jupiter/uranus. The orbs are between 2-3 degrees. Its retro in the 8th.
Anyway I have noticed that I seem to attract people with chiron on their angles. Maybe it is coincidence and it is other things attracting us current bf has it on MC opp venus previous bf has it on Asc opp sun/uranus(sun ruler is venus funny enough) longest relationship he had it on MC as well I dont know my ex Ts TOB but his chiron was apex of a t square betwee mars and venus - you may possibly consider his moon to create a grand cross Current bf his chiron is conj my vertex
pls dnt quote

Hmmm.. I have no idea but I think that this is a great question for us to explore.
I don't know why but my immediate thought turned to the Virgo-Pisces/6th-12th house axis. Virgo has a desire to serve, to correct - Pisces has a desire to empathize, merge, heal. I feel that Chironic energy is in desperate need of both of those energies. Maybe you attract Chironic folks because there's a subconscious part of you that enjoys nursing others psychic energy back to health?

Thanks athena, I dont have anything in my 6th or 12th house natally but my dr chiron is in pisces(and it squares my natal nodes and opposing my natal mercury) opposing the dr jup/uranus and my natal 6th house ruler is also mars which squares natal chiron. The guy with chiron conj asc it falls into my 6th house(and it conjuncts my dr moon). The other guys have chiron falling in my 8th, though i believe the smallest aspect to my own chiron is 5 deg orb.... I wonder though if jupiter/uranus kind if magnifies chiron in my chart. Because the type of persons i tend to attract also have strong jupiter and uranus influence as well as prominent chiron...

interesting ... I have moon trine chiron, chiron on IC, Saturn Oppose Chiron. Chiron is a healer. Sometimes we attract healers because we need healing, or appreciate someone with similar empathetic tendencies.
some individuals in my family has sun-chiron hard aspects, pluto-chiron hard aspects, making them disowning their own pain. Similarly chiron-neptune hard aspects and have illusion about their chiron side. It's described by Jewel Mayberry as a saturnian force without all the ring/discipline focus.
One of my friends has chiron as skipped step. My other close friend has chiron oppose moon/neptune
Anyway, the fact that it aspected your DSC ruler, as well as mars means you reconnect to your chiron side via relationships and men (mars). Or just people with chiron approach (acupuncture, hollistic healing, etc)

Thanks @unknown. Would be interested to know how do you think the skipped step works with Chiron? I have a mercury as a skipped step and communication is a big thing that i am trying to work on(i never really like talking much shy awkward etc not so bad now im older is still a hurdle for me).
With regards to my relationships, yes you are right, my relationships i have tended to attract men who have been hurt in the past in their relationships or when through some kind of issue related to the theme of MC/IC or ASC for the guys i described in my post.

vgwell this friend of mine, we've known each other for some time but i dont fully know her story, only have glimpses of it recently. She's also a 12th sun, moon+stellium in 8th, pluto in 7th. So lots of healing needed. She has chiron in gem in 2nd, so there is a challenge with communicating how one wants to be valued, squaring north node in pisces in 11th, virgo sn in 5th. So she's trying to go from a place of the self to the larger community and ideal, and in order to do so, she also needs to overcome that hump of the needs for security, of telling herself I'm worthy enough to speak for my ideals. Usually with skipped step, it is important to look at the opposition of the skipped step itself because that'll create a grand cross. So in my friend's case, it is to have conviction in something beyond the physical world (sag in 8th), which will help her materialize her dreams and ideals (pisces in 11th). It's helpful to look at planet/asteroid/luminaries as who, doing what (aspect), where (which house), in what manners (sign).
