Notes:
- Setting intentions for an eclipse is different from setting them for a regular new moon (will elaborate later) - Last SN solar eclipse in Capricorn: December 2000. ....Think back to winter 200/2001. If you were to take those priorities to the next level, where would you be now? ....Look at house placement...in which area of life? - This eclipse cycle of Cap/Cancer polarity began in July 2018 - SN eclipses can help us release energies of attachment that are no longer serving our soul's evolution. So we get to redefine how we're moving, individually and collectively. - Ask yourself: "What have I discovered about self-care since July? What have I been doing when it comes to taking care of my emotional well-being? And what emotional needs were calling out to be met in the last six months?" - The day of the eclipse, go within, get in touch with the energies as they are. - Cap => mastery. The quest for inner mastery, mastery of self, an inner experience. Especially on the physical plane. Ask yourself: ..."What is my relationship to the physical?"...each of us has an inner direction, we're getting this from our soul's DNA, there's an inner compass that steers us in particular directions. It's always there and always steering us. We can ignore it or honor the direction this compass is trying to steer us. So where does your inner compass point? You can journal, meditate with it, think about this over time.
Continuing...

- Re: Capricorn
"The highest vibration of Capricorn is the development of responsibility, resourcefulness, reliability, self-mastery, and the ability to set realistic goals and healthy boundaries. The next six months are a perfect time to work on those areas for yourself as consciously as possible. As best you can, prepare for the future. This is the year to prepare for the future. Make commitments and recognize your own responsibilities. In other words, nurture your dreams in a realistic manner. Also focus on achieving practical and attainable long-term goals. The key word is attainable...." ..."This is not about immediate results. It's about the quality of the foundation you're building, so that you can reap the rewards down the line." ...So ask yourself, "Where am I able to set realistic limits and boundaries in my life? Where am I able to do that? Because sometimes we have areas of life where it's easy for us to do these things, and other areas where it's not easy. So where have I been able to do that and where haven't I? Reflect on that and see what pops up." ...If the reasons for that were about fear, what might I be afraid of? If those fears came to pass, what would the worst of that be? We learn so much when we can get in contact with our own fears. Don't judge them or try to escape, just be with them, embrace them and realize it's good to know this, it connect you with your feeling body. Get clear on the worst, on the outer limit of that fear and ask yourself if you could be okay, survive that, handle it somehow. - Capricorn relates directly to the level of our maturity. Not necessarily related to age. First level: If we've had a lot of trauma, we might feel like we're in a survival mentality, it's fear-based. Second level: Once we get better at living on the earth plane, once we understand the rules better, we start becoming more goal-oriented. Third level: Eventually as we mature more, we're able to grow spiritually, and learn more about the laws of matter from a spiritual perspective. Earthly ambitions are replaced with a desire for spiritual service. We recognize that personal gain is not the highest goal, but we see that in serving others, we also give to ourselves, and heal separation. At this level we're living in pure accordance with our conscience from a place of maturity and inner guidance. The highest level of Capricorn is almost a place of enlightenment.
- @21:25 "The way that we know that something aligns with our self and with life is that there is harmony. There is inner and outer harmony. If you're not experiencing inner and outer harmony, then probably it's not in complete alignment with yourself and life....And what would 100% responsibility for my life look like? That means you have to be investigating internally...what does your inner universe look like and how is that being reflected in the outside world? What would 100% responsibility for my life look like, and what if I responded to all of life's situations in a way that respects and serves all those who are involved? That would be a very high way of operating, not possible 24/7, but it's not about that...it's about investigating what it would look like, even if we could just do it once a week or once a month.

I've been giving serious thought to shutting down twitter and facebook. Not so much due to politics, more because of their bowing to censorship when it comes to places like Saudi Arabia, and twitter goes along with the alt-right a lot of the time. They allow men to threaten women, but suspend accounts of those who defend themselves against people like that. Hasn't happened to me, but I've had enough.
So the moon has been in Sadge? That might explain my actually relaxing over the past two days, and managing to get my sleep schedule mostly fixed yesterday. I'm nervous about setting goals, and had planned some kind of juice cleanse, was trying to decide which one to try from Jason Vale, but a part of me is just thinking f**k it.

anelaI'm on a similar wavelength. Making juice is time-consuming and pretty difficult for me mentally if I'd rather be doing other things. But I'm also aiming to get at least one glass in per day, just as an act of kindness to myself, because I feel so much better when I have some. Because I'm trying to do it every day, the recipe is easy for now, just carrots, apples, and ginger. I can peel these quickly and don't have to bother with scrubbing or rinsing (which I have to do with beets, lemon peels, kale, and other things I usually juice). Hand-washing dishes has never been a favorite activity but with lemon essential oil in the dishwater my Taurus SN can go from inactive and bored to willing to move, because my senses are appeased. Pls don't quote

More notes on that video. These are imperfectly transcribed....not my thoughts, mostly her words, but not 100% verbatim.
- Capricorn is about practice. You become masterful when you practice something. It's like playing an instrument: in order to be masterful, you have to practice every day. To sustain a level of expertise and mastery, you need to keep practicing, keep doing the work. So if we think of ourselves as that instrument (mental body, physical body, spiritual body), and we have to practice every day, that is the Capricorn journey. That's the path.
- New moon solar eclipse aligns with Saturn and Pluto in Cap, and sextiles Neptune. Re: Saturn/Pluto. This conveys an extra potent message about our perceptions of the physical reality. This also relates to power... Ask yourself, "If I truly had choice in the matter, what is the future I would choose, and who would I chose to connect with? What would those connections bring about? And who would I choose not to connect with? If I really wanted to create the future that I want, who wouldn't I connect with? What about those connections would not serve this future?" (Journaling ideas) "What else would I choose to eliminate from my life? If I wanted to create a future that is in alignment with my soul's evolution and my highest self?" Important to ask this, because it's hard to eliminate things that aren't serving us, because it feels familiar. Often with Capricorn we tend to stick to the rules or the structures that have been created for us....but ask ourselves, "Are these structures or rules still part of what we want to move with, in order to create the future we want to have?"
- Saturn is conjunct the eclipse, so we need to choose realistically. Be really straight and true about things. "Am I true to myself? Am I in touch with my abilities and limitations when it comes to building something long term?" Of course, we're not alone in the things we're creating, but remember, we can collaborate and let ourselves be supported by others, too.
- Saturn has been associated with karma. This is simply about understanding the laws of cause and effect. "What I put into something is what I get out of it...as I sow, so shall I reap." Very Capricorn. As best as you can, be honest with yourself: "Am I doing whatever it takes?" Also ask yourself, "Am I realistic about time, and the use of time? Am I realistic about my long-term goals?"
- With this many planets in Cap, it's important to take some breaks, slow down and tune in. Keep ourselves grounded to the earth. Seek tools or people who help you perform a truthful exploration of your abilities and limitations. Sometimes we don't even know our blind spots. Let other people bring consciousness to that. Super helpful this year. Get tools that help you see yourself. It's not about judgment but being able to see clearly.
- Cap energies ask us to work hard, be in the here and now, even if we're planning for the future. Moderation and patience are necessary for spiritual growth and physical accomplishments in this world. Ask yourself, "What daily practices might bring about a masterful result in my life? Where I can manifest things more easily?" If we never practice, that makes it harder. The more we practice, the less we have to work.
- Neptune....this sextile gives us the opportunity to bring a more compassionate approach into the building of those long term goals. So we can accept the timing of things more easily and trust a slower pace and a more feminine approach (tuning in, allowing for an intuitive understanding of our goals and our next steps that we need to take. This is a *receiving* approach.)
- Another series of questions for reflection, journaling @ 36:13

My pleasure lumina. Of course this eclipse is right on my sun, so I am putting effort into understanding it, and want to be able to look back at these notes myself, rather than having to re-watch the video.

More... - Saturn also widely conjuncts Mercury in Capricorn at the time of the eclipse. So this reminds us of the power of our minds and that our thoughts matter, they are part of our manifestation process. Ask yourself questions about career, explore how you can communicate these goals realistically....pay attention to inner dialogue. Think seriously about what no longer works. Invetigate new thought processes. What does no longer feel useful in my approach to manifesting things? What if I got real about that, what's useful and not useful? What might be possible if I took 5% more responsibility for the things that I think about? - Mercury in Cap squares Mars in Aries; this could cause us to feel impatient. Keep in mind: rushing might not get me there any faster. Be aware of the impulse to want to rush things. This aspect offers the chance to have some discussions that may have been overdue, if we've been sitting on them for a while. How can you channel impatient masculine energies into something productive and satisfying? That's where you find the solution to this square...squares need creative solutions. You have to turn a corner by using these energies in different ways at different times. Find ways to make these energies work together. So what does a productive discussion look like? And where might focused energy create a win/win? Because Cap Mercury can be very focused. So if you slow down, you can achieve that. - Uranus in Aries is exalted in eclipse chart, it goes direct the next day after 5 months Rx. Uranus symbolizes the desire for freedom, equality and most of all progress. So we will feel this energy very strongly in the background at the time of the eclipse. Could also feel like anxiety, the strong desire to make things happen. What in your life is waiting to move forward? - Venus in Scorpio trine Pisces Chiron...this gives us a chance to heal our individual and collective wounds of spiritual disconnect. We can connect more deeply with other people on an emotional level. Start to see how we can open our hearts and trust a little more in the emotional/intuitive/spiritual process. What if I forgave myself and others for having flaws or limitations? Can I just let myself be human? Human means we have flaws. A physical experience always has limitations. There is no such thing as a physical experience without limitations. The journey to self-mastery is long, and once you've attained it, why would you even need to be here? - Every little pebble creates a ripple and this is true for each one of us...no matter how small the action, if the intention to make a difference, that will create a ripple. - Start @ 49:14 for a good speech..."Where are we building our ability to do life on life's terms? And where have we drifted away from our own inner truth or our own inner knowing that we have the strength to do this, to walk this path?" Are you really, honestly, truly walking your own path...is that what you want to choose for yourself? Get clear about that and remember. Eclipses are a time for clarifying and affirming our highest path. We're bound to experience a release of some sort and a recalibration. So old codes will get deleted and new ones will get downloaded. We get a consciousness upgrade. So especially in connection with practical and intuitive intelligence. Cap is very practical but also spiritual. So as best as you can, allow yourself to be in a quiet, receptive state on the day of the eclipse, the day before and day after. Simply take 5 minutes here and there, get quiet and be with your higher self. What might be possible if you gave this to your body and mind on a regular basis? 5 minute breaks with higher self. - Between now and January 30th, when we're feeling eclipse season strongest, allow for these new templates to download, stay centered, and do your best to ground from within. Try using conscious breathing, conscious flexibility as best you can...try to move into the observer position when it comes to the emotional body, when you feel electricity...allow yourself to be with that without making it mean anything. In four weeks, downloads are completed and then you're done. - Choose wisely for 2019. The power is in your heart, and in your humanity. Trust your inner truth. Everything is inside of you already. You don't have to look to the outside world to know what's needed. - If you have planets in 10-20° cardinal, then this is going to affect you more powerful. With eclipses we take a wider orb. Look at the house placements. What area of life is affected most? - @ 54:13 Solar Eclipse Intentions It's different from regular new moon intentions. The eclipse energy is so strong, wait 48 hours after the eclipse is exact. Because you are setting powerful intentions for six months. (She lists best times for setting intentions, East Coast US). Make them powerful and align them with Cap energy and remember that this eclipse reminds us to be aware and conscious and show up as responsible citizens of the world. "What if I simply released outdated rigid structures in my life? Might that free me to create a more authentic connection to my long-term goals? And if I did that, might it just be possible to help me create something sustainable, not just for me, but for generations to come?" That's all

So much I could say but just one observation, yes I have been feeling more electric today. Other horoscopes do expire fast and can't be reclaimed, so I'm posting for the record: Rick Levine: "1/5/19 - CAPRICORN NEW MOON ECLIPSE! We can expect a surprise from the Capricorn New Moon Eclipse at 8:28 pm EST. Like all New Moons, this one kicks off a new cycle, but this one packs a double punch. Eclipses indicate a change of power at the top, but magnetic Venus misaligns with quirky Uranus, destabilizing the energy even more. Although there are five planets in goal-oriented Capricorn, we may need to change horses in midstream, even if this shift wasn’t part of our original plan." stariq.com/pagetemplate/main.aspCafeastrology: "Saturday, January 5, 2019 Venus forms a trine to Chiron and quincunx to Uranus today, and we may feel we must choose between closeness and freedom or we have a hard time combining the two. However, we may get an opportunity to heal our personal relationships, as we are especially open to learning from one another. We more easily see beauty in human weaknesses, and we're less inclined to see fault or to concern ourselves with fault. It's a strong time for building trust in relationships, and for seeing potential in one another despite some off timing. A Solar Eclipse occurs in the sign of Capricorn today, and new beginnings or a fresh approach to our career, social standing, or attention to structure and organization are in order. This is a time for setting practical, attainable goals, making commitments, recognizing responsibilities, and nurturing our dreams with special attention to realism. Capricorn teaches us that knowing our limitations frees us to focus on what matters, where we are, who we are, and where we want to go. With the potent Capricorn energy of the Solar Eclipse, we have the chance to make essential changes in our lives that will benefit us well beyond this Moon cycle. The eclipse point itself is in between Pluto and Saturn, however, so a feeling of being stuck can prompt a new beginning. Ambitions are strong, but so is pressure to perform, and perhaps a bit of paranoia, as well. The harmonious sextile to Neptune helps us access our intuition and compassion. This eclipse is the second in a set of Cancer-Capricorn eclipses, the first of which was a Solar Eclipse in Cancer last July." cafeastrology.com/Now, time to get back to work. #Cap

So I watched thesunnyside on YouTube and he runs live streams. He was taking about the eclipse as the moon hide away from the sun so the esoteric meaning is things start to disappear.. during the past 2 days, for my job I had to assist the hospitals with a woman who had a still born right on the new moon and another with a miscarriage a day after.
Never did I have to do that before at my job (tho I had assisted with informing family of the elderly ‘s chances of living). It really fits the moon archetype too.

Saturn on MC, Pluto in Sun.....
Also another sag moon blown up this Jupiter transit
I e said before Jupiter in your sign is not necessarily a good thing. Jupiter is pretty much similar to Saturn, just because it doesn’t feel heavy doesn’t mean it’s not consequential or purely happy go lucky (like cookbook astrology always pretends it to be)

Jupiter is a major planet after all. And together with Saturn an outer one, taking its time to move around the zodiac. Definitely very consequential.

12YearsABlob Wow! I think I looked at Mackenzie's chart a while ago, but forgot. For now, I have this handy: So, maybe her energy seems familiar, with the moon-Saturn in Taurus. Pardon all the random asteroid litter, I forgot to erase my set before creating this. Looks like Bezos' sun is on her Mercury-Pallas midpoint (tropical). He said he wanted a woman who was resourceful. I'm sure she can think of things in a new way, and he jives with that... But I'm getting ahead of myself since I haven't even looked at the basics with them (synastry/composite). Maybe I will later, and post on the Juno asteroid thread.
