...transiting conjunct Elvis' natal sun today. So why not? I did want to say one thing about his chart and current transits: His nodes square Aries Uranus, all conjunct current nodes-square-Uranus. I think of Elvis as someone whose life ran out of control because of Uranian excess. He attracted circumstances to himself that were out of control, like fans mobbing him to the point of injury, destroying his cars, and so on. He was driven into reclusiveness and then mocked for reclusiveness, as if he really had a choice. Even then, every bit of his personal life eventually came to light and haunted him. He had no privacy. Current times are like this, in some ways, as we learned about the Hollywood Weinstein culture, and all sorts of "wild" things are coming to light, which might just be the nature of Aries Uranus? Full speed ahead, no care of consequences, blowing up everything in its way. I think if Uranus in any sign takes on a life of its own and stirs up drama, it's this one. Disposited by Mars, which makes things happen.

Austin Butler playing Elvis in the biopic whose production was halted (Tom Hanks, playing Colonel Parker, has the virus)... astro-charts.com/persons/chart/austin-butler/Butler's Elvis @ 8 Libra trine his MC. His NN-Neptune conjunct Elvis' sun in Cap, with their Saturns conjunct. His moon widely conjunct Elvis' ASC. Elvis talked about feeling electric, I think that was his nodes squaring Uranus as I said, and Butler his NN widely conjunct Uranus so maybe that will help with coming across convincing. Hope so. I couldn't stand Jonathan Rhys Meyers as Elvis (another Leo sun, Sag moon for the role www.astrotheme.com/astrology/Jonathan_Rhys_Meyers). Not that it matters what I think but as an Elvis fan....I liked Michael Shannon in Elvis & Nixon, yet another Leo sun with a fire moon (Aries) but he's Virgo rising with Pisces Jupiter on the DSC. That might've helped with the more subtle vibe, contemplative sound to his voice. Might've also just been the screenplay, the way it was humorous, I think that's basically what it was like. www.astrotheme.com/astrology/Michael_Shannon_(actor)The dark side of Elvis is pretty dark and Butler's eyes just look intense like that so I'm speculating it will be another movie dramatizing all his errors. Pls don't quote

Benjamin Keough committed suicide today. No words.
Keough had Elvis @ 15 Cap conjunct Neptune and Uranus (on his grandfather's sun) opposing transiting Elvis @ 14 Cancer. The recent lunar eclipse hit this axis. Tr Saturn squaring Keough's late Libra sun, tr sun conjunct his 19 Cancer Mars.
