Because there is always more to say about draconic charts, am I right? If you consider the matter of dispositors, dispositor chains, final dispositors, sole dispositors....anything you know about the subject, and apply it to draconic charts, do any new and startling or at least intriguing facts come to light? --- I just realized my draconic Taurus sun's dispositor, draco Venus in Aries, is in mutual reception with my draco Libra Mars. Since my natal nodes are in Taurus and Scorpio, they are disposited by Venus and Mars (traditional ruler). So, strange that my draconic chart features this Venus-Mars mutual reception. Probably more to say after I think about it.

Ava Very interesting thought. Wow yes, Venus-Mars-mutual reception highlighting the nodal axis. Amazing! Mars disposits my Sun, Mercury, Venus in Aries (draconically), and is in Pisces conjunct Neptune and ASC. And well Neptune is of course the dispositor of that Mars and in domicile (actually on the last degree, 29°47 Pisces). And well natally Mars, ASC and Neptune are conjunct my NN - so I guess there is a pretty strong tilt towarts the NOrth node in my chart, at least concerning these planets on the other hand Draco Moon in Gemini conjuncts the tropical SN. As for other dispositors Jupiter in Cancer, disposited by Moon in Gemini Saturn in Scorpio in mutual reception with Pluto in Capricorn (on the MC) - so that one is also interesting Uranus in Aqua in its own sign

That is so cool lumina , about your draco Mars and its aspects. So the ASC-Mars-Neptune-NN cluster is even further "Neptunized" by its placement in Pisces, and it takes on even greater significance, because it disposits your draconic sun. Hmm! All about spiritual action? Well it's interesting to me that you often have "visions" while on the bus (or however you would feel comfortable describing that recurring phenomenon). Bus = movement, Mercury, Mars? I think better when I'm working around the house, like in a flurry of activity my mind switches on, and maybe that's related to my natal Mars tightly conjunct draco Mercury in Gemini. Being a sort of kinetic thinker. Speaking of that... So here we see his draconic sun and Mercury in mutual reception, with draco sun on the NN. Natally, Aries Mars trine Sag Moon-Neptune disposited by 10H Jupiter in Gemini might explain all the walking while learning and brainstorming..... But I think the draconic adds so much to the picture. - Draconic ASC conjunct natal Mars (seen outdoors in motion) - Natal Mars exactly square tropical MC in Capricorn - Natal MC conjunct draconic 3H Gem Uranus, disposited by Mercury in Leo

Ava so fascinating you would mention Dickens just now! Well P`s best friend was giving a reading of Dickens on 23rd december and I just came home from an extended walk. lol I am really in awe about Dickens walking pensum though, as I am usually too lazy and not a good walker, I mean we`ve just been taking an 1,5 hours walk, and I am pretty tired now. But for as much as I sometimes tend to be too lazy to get my bum up, usually walks are serving me well, and I feel very good afterwards (I do so, too, now). Well I am taking at least little walks now and then and I prefer them to be rather lonely walks through our fields nearby or woods or something like that. I do also enjoy strolling through cities, in particular I remember having been sort of wandering aimlessly through London (well I took a bus somewhere and just got off when I felt like it and started to walk and ended up in a cemetery. Naturally. LOL ) Or in abandoned pathways. It just activates my fantasy I guess. And I´ve been doing most of my "story-writing" while walking, heck I am usually even planning the core of my lessons while walking or being on the bus. Something about being moving that helps with that I guess. (I do not even have to use my own feet, it is enough to be on a train or a bus most of the time. Though trains are usually better for that. It does not work with planes and ships btw. Ships work in other ways though. lol) Btw I had no clue but it seems that Dickens Sun was exactly on my Moon. Wow! Not sure about the orbs but his Moon-Neptune might be close to my Neptune-Node?

btw I like the expression "kinetic thinker". I defintely am one, too, and a kinetic learner. Actually if my pupils have problems memorizing their words or whatever, I recommend to them learning them while moving, walking, bouncing or even throwing a ball repeatedly against a wall. I think the secret there is really the repetition, and the anchoring and connection of motion and memory. I did not even know this was a thing, but I think it was Lancelot or was it someone else, who mentioned that when being asked about memorizing their words and especially with several roles going on, that there is this thing about "motion memory", meaning that certain gestures or motions are being interconnected with certain lyrics, so whenever they make the gesture, the memory of the words is there, too. Yes I think it was Lancelot who said that, and also explained that this is why he will always make the same gestures when singing a certain song no matter if in a musical or just in a concert, it is just so much interconnected, and this way he remembers the words. Well P actually seems to do it differently, when I asked him how he does not only memorize the words of these different plays, but mostly also "getting into character" for these different roles, which he has to switch sometimes within a day (as he sometimes plays in so many different productions simultaneously), actually he wasn`t quite aware that this is REALLY an amazing skill he has, it seemed like he thinks everyone can do it (No, they can`t ), but he said for him the "hook" is the emotional journey that is unique to every character. So I think he probably approaches his roles more from this underlying emotional perspective, which might be the reason he tends to forget the lyrics very quickly. lol It`s not so much about the right words, but the right emotion to bring across in his case I think. Well just struck me now that even at that point he was already talking to me about his emotional journey, or mine as part of the audience, actually he specified that it was a shared emotional journey which is what makes the strength and intensity of life theatre, just from different perspectives, and that he knows he has been doing a good job if he was able to not just invite but take at least some people in the audience on his journey (with a certain character of course). Seems he`s been thinking quite a bit about journeys lately, those of his roles and his own. Of course that is right up my alley, as the inner image I have had of life has always that been of a journey. Not sure others even have an image? But for me it has always been a bit like a road and a journey. But at the same time it also has always been about "the way is the destination itself". I am disgressing, but I just found it so interesting, to see how different actors go on about approaching their performances.

I like reading about your travels on foot lumina Also very interesting, the "emotional journey" of P and how emotional currents can be a "kinetic" aspect for the mind (or however you might phrase that). Btw I had no clue but it seems that Dickens Sun was exactly on my Moon. Wow! Not sure about the orbs but his Moon-Neptune might be close to my Neptune-Node? Yes, his sun 17°58 Aqua, moon 12°36 Sag, Neptune 13°01 Sag. Strange to have the same Neptune as Charles Dickens.....well I do like the way he used his imagination to advance social issues and wake people up to the fact that while they may have considered themselves religious, there was still a lot of work to be done. I like his Venus-Pluto in Pisces on the DSC, like he was "married" to the whole world. I probably would have enjoyed his writing more if I'd had more time for it, but getting assigned the very long novel Bleak House over spring break was enough to make me cranky and very critical of the book.

My husband has mutual reception between his draco Aries Saturn and draco Cap Mars.
So far, we all have draco mutual reception.
Another one I just checked has Taurus Neptune in mutual reception with Pisces Venus.

^I have that too. Cap Mars, Aries Saturn - they're tightly square but in mutual reception.
