Sometimes I wonder if this is a big deal.
How do these planets get along in your natal chart, and theirs, and between your charts?
For example, Saturn in Leo disposits my Cap sun. My husband's sun in Leo is its own dispositor (domicile).
His sun is conjunct my Saturn, so there we go.

Ava I think dispositors are much more important than we give them credit to. They seem to illuminate an underlying intricate tapestry and interconnection bewteen planets. In the very least they add an overtone to the signplacement. But more than this it seems to combine with the basic placement and refine it, showing how this energy expresses. For example my Sag-energy is of course Sag-like. But because Jupiter is in Pisces in 3rd house, that is where it all really spills. Synastrically it is huge actually, and acts as a tool for enhancing understanding or actually the opposite.

My sun in Taurus is deposited by Venus in Aries which sextiles my bf's sun in Leo. That's all I have to add as I've never thought about it much before- thanks for this thought fodder though! I'll have to check out some other synastries!
