The Bowl Planetary Pattern

We're coming up on this, in transits, when the sun enters Scorpio:



I find that almost spooky, the empty top half (southern hemisphere).

I've never really known if the event chart for a planet's ingress into a sign is meaningful. I don't have the attention span to keep going back and checking. 

But already I feel like things are just weirdly lopsided.

Bowl Pattern individuals tend to seek balance and harmony with your environment, perhaps to compensate for the polarity between the occupied and unoccupied halves of your charts. The occupied half of your chart symbolizes what you have to give to the world, and the unoccupied portion what you, consciously or unconsciously, feel you lack.

It took me a little longer than today to get back to this..anyway, I would say mainly that growing up(my teenage years) and even into university, my studies were more important to me than making deep emotional connections. I did like to go out and socialise but romance was not on my list. I saw people around me at uni and thought "this is not what i want for me - too much restriction". I was quite late compared to my peers in getting a boyfriend, I wasn't interested at all. I am quite an emotional person but very few people would see this, i would have many aquaintances(most of which i wouldnt see now) but only few people who i would consider friends and who would see my emotional side. Even my closest relatives wouldnt see that.

I moved away from home for university and then general career things, i moved countries for romance but i didnt move until i got a job where the description matched my interests. I can handle romantic breakups/emotional issues better than being out of work, that would break me.
When i do go home i feel like an outsider(well i guess that could be my aqu IC or intercepted 3rd house?). When I was a child I was surrounded by my many cousins so we grew up together, but i moved away for study then work and when i come home now it feels like we are worlds apart though we still get along.

I am close to my father than any of my other family, and my siblings. They are priority over work. I guess as the contact is more consistent with them and we share similar interests to my father and brother.

I guess what i am trying to say is that if I looked back on things I didnt balance emotional relationships with work/career. Even now I get a bit down when i cant study for something - free time and money thing.

My BF also has the bowl - almost the opposite of me - in the Southern Hemisphere. He is a very emotional guy(though he hides it), and I think lived alot of his life because of family expectations. He has a 4th house stellium(5 planets including his SN and moon conjunct uranus) He has his NN in his 10th house and chiron on his MC, and is a workaholic. When he lived in his home country he was on the move alot for work. He moved to my country when saturn hit his uranus. The jobs he would be best as are not in the city we are in, but he stayed here. He may get a job 3 hours away from us. So again here it is the trying to balance family life/work life.
