Moon conjunct Jupiter might be also about magnifying emotional reactions maybe, Ava ? Well my Jupiter is quintile P`s Moon (0°34) I think I like that, without being really sure what it means. lol But I guess something nice. Maybe me being supportive in quite an unique way? I actually found a short interpretation fo this one. lol "Moon quintile or biquintile Jupiter, you see the best in each other and feel more capable of facing the world together. Both of you may feel the urge to settle down and start a family with this aspect." neptunesauraastrology.wordpress.com/2014/03/29/moon-in-aspect-to-jupiter-in-synastry/Ava, about the conjunction she wrote this "Moon conjunct, opposite and square jupiter, this aspect activates the positive sunny side of the moon person, who feels extra special in the presence of the jupiter person. This energy has an uplifting effect but both parties must ensure they don’t allow it to turn them into a couple who behave self-righteously because that would be a waste of opportunity to explore and open up each others worldview and enrich both parties experience of life. Some with this aspect may come from different cultures and backgrounds and will work to blend these differing cultures into their relationship. both parties may feel the desire to have a family together, with this aspect." Actually I think that a lot has to do with how someone expresses their Jupiter, I mean Jupiter can be benevolent and supportive and protective and all of the good stuff, but there is a dark side sometimes to him and that has to do with a certain selfishness, in demanding mroe space for himself than is his due actually, making him a bit megalomanic and arrogant not to mention a certain bigotry might come up occasionally (I am the only one capable of understanding the truth of all - something like that stuff). And then of course he is expansive. Well sometimes it is good what he expands, good feelings, humour, warmth, laughter etc. But if Jupiter is in one of his moods (do not forget he has a lightning he can throw at you whenever the mood darkens for a moment), hism oods actually can be rather overbearing. Whatever Jupiter does, somehow he always does more of it than he probably should. lol

Ava yes quintiles are cute. Well P and his wife have the Venus-Mars-biquintile, and pretty tight, too, and Jewel Mayberry describes it as maybe the best Venus-Mars-aspect to have. I do like our Moon-Jupiter-quintile as well though, and actually we also have a Sun-Ceres (my Ceres) and Sun-Eros (his Eros) quintile. just nice little aspects.

My BF and I: So, my jupiter/uranus occurs in my 2nd house(so my bf's moon overlaps my 2nd) - and my dr jupiter/uranus occurs in my natal 11th house and squares my/our natal nodes. His jupiter is conjunct neptune in his 4th house. His moon conjunct uranus by 4 deg(his DSC ruler which is also my dr DSC ruler) in his 4th house. I mentioned before about him having venus on his mc(i thought he was born in the morning but it was at night so his venus is on his ic - 5 planets in his 4th house). So it is impossible to separate uranus and jupiter in our synastry - his moon falls on our uranus-uranus midpoint.
Our composite jupiter conjuncts composite sn and squares composite moon
My moon occurs just into my 9th house.
We are from different countries, have different religious backgrounds. He is a strict vegetarian i am an omnivore. I am a messy person with regards to leaving things lying everywhere(i dislike mess i dont like it but im like that, but i see myself changing), he is very tidy. I'm a bad time keeper he is slightly better than me, and way more organised than i am, but i am more reliable. Funny that he is more carefree in the mind than me and I worry alot. Despite this that we do share similar values on alot of things(eg personal hygeine, work ethics, family values). I have learned things from him and i do hope i managed to teach him something. I guess we have opened each others minds on things.
I found out i was pregnant during the jupiter-uranus opposition last year.
With my son, I do not have any moon aspects to his jupiter(though my DR IC conjuncts his natal jupiter - similar to moon conjunction?) I'm learning things here too, opening my mind to parenthood but also seeing how things differ in other countries - my son's jupiter is in his 9th house and just into my 2nd. Uranus is also prominent here too. Our composite uranus is in the first. People say he looks nothing like me lol.
Anyway for me Jupiter - moon is a bit like opening your mind up to other things/experiences outside of what you are used to. Of course in my case Uranus plays a role, but its not just a case of differences. Its lessons but not like the lessons saturn teaches you.
My bf also likes my humour(so he says lol..)
I had the square with someone though i need to check that synastry.

Moon conjunct Jupiter might be also about magnifying emotional reactions maybe, Ava ? Hmm, could be. I've seen this happen with Moon-Jupiter composite aspects more often... Over the top reactions are indeed possible in both synastry/composite when Jupiter is involved. For some reason, I associate Uranus with sudden, over the top reactions more often - but maybe it's the suddenness and intensity. Jupiter might be "overblown" all the time and we just get used to it, lol.
In synastry, as the moon, I quite like it. Although I should add that I haven't experienced the square at close quarters.
The Jupiter person really holds space for the moon person's feelings. With the trine/sextile, they know just how to get the moon to cheer up (well, as much as possible anyway). The Jupiter person makes everything brighter by their presence alone.
I don't relate to the part where she says Jupiter dictates his will (or something to that effect). Saturn is the one with "should"'s and "should-not"s. A Saturn that's not handled well, will be judging and disapproving of the Moon's natural expression. Jupiter might be a little preachy, but more in a "professor that goes on & on" kind of way, than the finger-wagging "shape up" Saturn way.
Hard Jupiter aspects might have inflated expectations, but they don't have the terrible crash-n-burn as when Neptunian expectations aren't fulfilled...
Also, there's genuine goodwill on both sides. In my head, this is the "best friend" aspect. Even if you're lovers, it's a really beautiful energy to have. Jupiter is likely to make excuses for moon's irrationality and generously forgive any cranky spells. lumina , you mentioned they make the moon person feel special - that's true!
As the Jupiter person, I dunno if I had that effect, but I never felt like the moon's behaviour was "dumb" or "uncalled for". They both get where each other is coming from, and even if they don't - they make allowances for it.

I know its been mentioned previously about hard aspects and overblown emotions, but does anyone have anything more to add about Moon-Jupiter opposition in synastry? I guess would it tie into what you were saying 12YearsABlob about jupiter interpreting the moon's behaviour over optimistically, which may in fact be the total OPPOSITE of what the moon is doing objectively? For example, if the moon was being a stubborn so-and-so, the Jupiter opposing would say to others "oh, they just know their mind and stand their ground!"

Exactly! Jupiter in synastry sees the planet person in the best possible light. (Possibly even the squares, in some cases. Depends, though - they might be a mixed bag - ideological differences, etc.)
You touched on another important part of this - not only do they give the planet person the benefit of doubt, but also actively champion them / "promote" them. Jupiter is like the proud dad showing off his daughter's science project.

P.S. I don't see the opposition to be as problematic as the square, if at all. Will be back if anything in particular strikes me.

^ Adding to that… The problematic thing about the opposition might be that the Jupiter person oversimplifies the moon person's feelings. Jupiter doesn't judge their feelings (like Saturn does), but if immature, Jupiter can underestimate the depth of the moon's misery. Jupiter can have a brash sort of optimism. This makes the Jupiter person feel compelled to out-do themselves in trying to lift the spirits of the moon person. The moon person, in turn, might come to rely too much on the Jupiter person's support & optimism (not just with the opposition, any aspect). Jupiter can have off days too, which can be hard for the moon not to take personally. Their absences will also not be easy on the moon person. Like going off anti-depressants and finding out you can't make that serotonin on your own. They might become clingy with the Jupiter person and demand they keep their sunshine around for the moon person 24x7. With the conjunction, the downside is probably that sometimes the moon person feels guilty about not cheering up despite Jupiter's attempts. Guess you only have to worry about this if yours is an especially grumpy moon. More often than not, Jupiter does have a good effect, but nobody is infallible...
Apart from the obvious possibility of over-indulging each other, I believe these are the 'problem areas' of Moon-Jupiter synastry. Much like the aspects themselves, the problems are completely benign. Nothing that a little compassion and communication can't fix.

Apparently I deleted again (my husband found this site, so I deleted a lot while he was reading, sorry).

My college bf's Jupiter conjunct my moon, it's something I've never fully grasped...why didn't this play out as positively as it sounds? And then platonically, why have I had such mixed experiences, where I really like some Pisces Jupiter people (all the Pisces Jupiter people that I know at this forum, basically) and clashed with others, to the point of stalemate or alienation?
*edits details
In a way it was like Jupiter set up a home for me (thanks) but then outcrowded my moon and took up all its space.

^ Hmm, I can see how Jupiter might almost be "too grand" or too big for the moon. Besides, different moons need different things. Maybe yours doesn't especially need Jupiter, but something else?
It's also the personal -v.s.- transpersonal (signs/planets) clash. The moon needs more personal, one-on-one caring.. Jupiter is big picture stuff, Pisces Jupiter is biiiiiiiiiig blurry picture stuff. Unless the people have other more personal aspects, or unless the Jupiter person is wired that way, it can feel kind of impersonal to the moon. A diffused sort of goodwill that never makes its way to you. I've sometimes felt that with Pisces friends, it might be that Pisces Jupiter sees that as "ideal".
Speaking of which, since any Jupiter on your moon might also square your Neptune, your ideals of what constitutes good loving and/or nurturing might be at odds(?) Both Jupiter and Neptune deal with ideals on different levels, so an inharmonious aspect there might spell trouble..

Definitely. Jupiter is social and influential, expansive. Moon is usually how we like to be alone or with our immediate circle. So they can be opposites. Speaking of which, since any Jupiter on your moon might also square your Neptune, your ideals of what constitutes good loving and/or nurturing might be at odds(?) Both Jupiter and Neptune deal with ideals on different levels, so an inharmonious aspect there might spell trouble.. Thanks...hmm. Never really got a solid grasp on my moon square Neptune. It definitely colors my experiences with this aspect in synastry, I should be more mindful of that. I think Sadge wants to KNOW something and Pisces is alert to how much it doesn't know. === It's a matter of signs......... I think an Aries moon conjunct my Jupiter might feel refreshing and fun, but in this case Jupiter could feel stifling to the moon (?) because Jupiter has a zillion ideas while the moon is honestly too busy doing things and living life to listen. Taurus moon conjunct Jupiter, really not sure how that would go. With more coffee and time I might be inspired to at least try and comprise a full list, just because I want to see one.

vg deleted? I don't mean to call anyone out, I just wish that people would take a break.
I always cook when the moon is in Taurus, and I'm hungry right now, so I'm picturing Moon conjunct Jupiter in Taurus food-wise. I'm so hungry, I have to get something to eat.

I don't know if I have Jupiter conjunctions with anyone here, but I know that I have Mars aspects with one person, and I try not to annoy them. I don't think I'm always successful, and maybe my awareness makes it worse. I don't know.
My best high school friend, that I've known since I was eleven, has Mars/Jupiter in Aries, conjunct my Sun, from what I remember. Venus in Leo trine my Aries. She's more upbeat than I am, more vivacious, funny, sparkling, whatever - and she's a Cancer Sun/Cappy Moon.
