Faith,
It doesn't do anything in my chart and forms no aspects with other vedic asteroids. My chart is a test case for vedic - all vedic asteroids link to each other or occur in clusters. I think the Hndu word is actually Sri, as Lakshmi is often referred to Sri Lakshmi - adding Sri as a prefix is more respectful. Siri on the other hand, has Norse origins.
In relation to why Apple used the word SIRI, someone said:
"The name Siri is Scandinavian, a short form of the Norse name Sigrid meaning "beauty" and "victory", and comes from the intended name for the original developer's first child."

A weird thing happened regarding my interest in Hinduism, and something you said about idol worship, @astrokeen (vaguely related to the topic, but something I'll post about in the Spirituality forum more in-depth later). The idea of idol worship came later that night in a dream, but that's something else altogether. I've never viewed it as such, and still don't...I just found it a strange coincidence.
I had a massive release of energy involving past lives as transiting Sun, Pallas, and Chiron were conjunct my Jupiter (I'll go more into that in a thread I'm hoping to make).
One lifetime seemed to involve being a high priestess somewhere. All I know was a saw very curly hair and bangles. She wasn't very keen on being a high priestess of whatever religion it was, but it was something she (I) had been obligated to do. There were natural healing abilities present, but it seemed like they weren't put to the use of good. She appeared to be aware of that in the lifetime she lived.
Anyway...after I was able to release that energy and integrate that part of me back with "Me", I had an abrupt lack of interest in some of my tapestries, as well as my Catholic candles. It was very odd.
I've kept my bamboo Lakshmi hanging, and my Orthodox pictures of archangels, but the candles and my Durga tapestry seemed to no longer have a place.
This could go in so many forums, lol. Religion, Spirituality, Mysteries and the Unexplainable...
Weird, eh?
No idea what the correlation would be there, as I'm not aware of any shadowy practices in Hinduism (and not sure why the Catholic candles were no longer of interest, either).
But I thought I would share that here real quick (since we were talking sort of off-topic about it here) before I take some time to consider how I'll post about it in the other forum.

Hi Violets,
I am sure I posted here but it's gone. Will try again!
With regard to shadowy practices in Hinduism, there are tantric occult practices some of which have veered away from their original intent of soul evolution, and focus on material and social gains. Some tantric priests or practitioners are known to have various powers and links with lower astral planes. Basically they are Indian witches and wizards. You may have dabbled in these in a previous life. Durga or Kaali may have been the goddess you prayed to.

Yikes... Thank you, @astrokeen. Maybe something like that, yes... It's strange, because Rama and Sita still feel very good to me. Not that Durga feels bad, just that any appeal just sort of evaporated literally overnight.
The same with many tapestries and odds and ends that I use around the house. An elephant mandala tapestry I use as a table cloth no longer looks appealing to me, strangely. And the wraparound skirt made from used saris that I upcycled for use as a curtain. Strange, but what you've guessed at could well be accurate.
Anyway, I'll leave it for the Spirituality forum, and thank you for your insight. 💕

It could be something much simpler too. When you let something which has served its purpose go, its attachments no longer have meaning. Idol worship is thought of acting as a crutch - an emotional link to help one focus on God, which many people would find easier than focusing on an idea of a universal soul. So idols, gods and goddesses are stepping stones in the path of spiritual evolution. By retrieving that expression of yourself, you let go of its attachments.

I do work like this often with the two energy healers I've seen, and there is definitely a massive release of energy when a past life comes up and that "part" can integrate properly. I've had to have chakras restored, and a lot of it I either do myself, or it just happens. I've learned not to doubt what is happening, but your first guess sounds much more on target for that particular experience.
I may well delete some of these posts, as I'm sure some people think I sound fruity.

I've been meaning to investigate Vedic asteroid aspects with fixed stars. This is again tied to the belief that prominent aspects with fixed stars are indicative of previous life links with other star systems. Talk of starseeds often refer to Egyptian and Sumerian asteroids but not usually Vedic.
With regard to antiquity this is how old these civilisations are - however, dates vary a little between different sources:
Egyptian - 3400 bc - 332 bc
Sumerian/Mesopotamian civilisation - 4000 bc to 1750 BC
Indus Valley civilisation - 3300–1300 BCE - Many ancient Indian texts (Vedas) were written during this period - hence the term Vedic.
They seem to be equally ancient with Mespotamia perhaps being the most ancient.
iQ mentioned this: "Star Seeds are likely to have had a majority of lifelines outside Earth. They may have had a few lifelines intermittently on Earth like Glastonbury, Egypt, Sumeria and India but they cannot identify easily with Humanity in the current form."

What trigged my interest in the first instance were my own placements. I have clusters of vedic asteroids at certain degrees and couldn't see what the significance of these degrees was till I looked at fixed stars.
This cluster, the biggest one, is conjunct M57 or Messier 57, the constellation Lyra at 20 degrees Capricorn and the fixed star Sulaphat at 21.55 Cap. Ramachandran 21.14 Soma 21.32 Anand 22.15 Mahakala 22°21 Mahalingam 23.57
Other fixed stars placements are: Antares 9.8 Vishnu 9.16
Nada 28.2 Betelgeuse 28.8 - a star in the constellation of Orion
Rudra 22°24' Nbiru 23.48 - a hypothetical planet (?)
A quote from the Starseeds Reference thread about the constellation Lyra: "The reason why this beautiful nebula is so special is because it is the physical remnants of a super nova explosion of the Lyran homeland which, in galactic myth, was the original location of all humanoid races before it was destroyed by the Draco's, thus triggering the diaspora to new planets such as those civilizations located in the Pleiades, Andromeda, Casseopia, Sirius amongst many others.
Thus, strong contacts with the Ring Nebula literally points to the birthplace of humanoid star origins. This is the place from which many streams of consciousness, rays of extraterrestrial starseed races, began their evolutionary journey."

I'll have to catch up with this a bit later, @astrokeen. But I agree with you about Vedic asteroids and how old the civilizations are. It only seems logical to me, but I'm not a Starseed expert! I also wonder about Greek asteroids, as Linda Goodman (and I believe Edgar Cayce) believed the Greek civilization as well as our current one to be reincarnations of Atlantis. I could be mistaken in that thought, so I'll have to go dig around in order to say for sure. Am I recalling Greek history correctly with Romulus and Remus around 500 B.C.? I suppose that's not so very ancient, unless we consider the idea that it could have been the reincarnation of a more ancient civilization...

It's lovely, @astrokeen! I've got a miserable cold today, so I may have to give it another listen when I'm feeling a bit better, but I do like it very much!

Gabby, in a LL thread on Angel asteroids you had mentioned how you had noticed Vishnu at key points in people's charts. Would you say where it was prominent or for whom? Vishnu is one of the 3 aspects of Godhead - the preserver. it was Vishnu who took the avatars of Rama and Krishna at key points in earth history to resolve earth problems. I have Vishnu conjunct Antares in Sag, 5th house and am wondering as to its meaning. Antares stands for the angel Uriel, the angle of salvation. Perhaps Vishnu provides the preservation aspect - giving it strength and certainty. I rather like this quote: "As the Archangel of Salvation, Uriel can show us how to heal every aspect of lives, turning disappointments into victories, find blessings in adversity, and release the painful burdens and memories of the past through the application of unconditional forgiveness."
