Your baby has Sun/Krishna on Regulus? That is amazing! You should check his chart for other starseed type aspects. There is a thread on starseeds in Hidden Treasures which Taineberry put together.

He does have some, @astrokeen. I forget what exactly right now, but yes. Oh...one is that his Mars/Saturn conjunction falls on Antares, which is conjunct an asteroid as well, I think. I forget which one. And he's got Venus on his MC, and people honestly notice how absolutely, incredibly loving he is, and how happy. My oldest was not exactly the opposite as a baby, but much more serious and easily frustrated. He has a completely different-looking chart than my oldest son (I've never seen a chart as difficult as my oldest's, honestly...3 planets at 29 degrees, all either conjunct or in opposition, Pluto opposite his Karma asteroid, one planet at 0 degrees, etc), and they are very obviously completely different, even as babies. It's interesting, for sure.

So much to catch up on... Violets - That's the version of Gayatri Mantra I listen to, too. I'm so impressed with how much both of you ladies know. edit

Faith, I too have Karma conjunct Sun. Also NN conjunct Vertex which I guess amounts to a very fated life, or I can't somehow avoid what's coming my way. Although having Felicitas exactly conjunct Karma gives me hope that I carry positive Karma to this life. Oh that's amazing! Vertex-NN, I think I've only seen that in one person's chart before. You must have an interesting life story....just from what I've read here, that seems to be the case! And thanks so much for this Deva Premal video, it's exquisite. My husband's Vertex is conjunct my NN and we seem to be a fated/karmic pair. I have Kama conjunct my sun with only 0.13° orb. Cap Sun-Kama square Karma @ 17 Libra and Jupiter @ 16 Aries. It seems I've lived through extremes of luck and misfortune, though everything is relative, I could have been much luckier or much less fortunate. It's hard to tell what kind of karma I have since the terrain has been so up and down. edit

My spiritual home "decor" is an odd combination of Hindu tapestries and orthodox pictures of saints, the Annunciation, etc. My cousin married a very devout Catholic woman, and when I asked what I was supposed to do with the saints candles after they had been used, she was like " What are you doing with Catholic candles?!" 😂😂 Oops, we were posting at the same time, Ava. I don't mind when we all get a bit off topic, but of course it might be annoying for people who are trying to read through the thread... :/

I haven't plugged in the South India asteroids yet. It's kind of exhausting!

LOL...I really love that you took the candles!
I wonder if I could work myself back into an appreciation of Catholicism, through aesthetics. If I impose my current worldview on Catholic places and things, they are charming and innocent.
Even rosary beads.
Which I've loathed for a long time.

Yep. too many Vedic asteroids. It is a week long job, if you are not a full-time mum. You already have loads of info to go on with, Violets.
I think it was Keela on LL who first mentioned the South Indian asteroids to me and I investigated and added them to the Asteroid lists. iQ, in fact, suggested that only Indian people need bother with these, but we found prominent aspects with non-Indian's too.
Faith, not sure about an interesting life, but I have been through extremes of experiences, lows and highs. Early adult years were a loss, in a sense, because of lows. Have done varied forms of work and delved into many forms of spiritual practices.

On a semi-random note (look, I have Uranus on my IC and Aqua Mercury conjunct my Dsc, blame my chart! ), I've always thought that most of us, or a lot anyway, are Starseeds of some type? I don't know why I think so, I just sort of have assumed that many of us (regardless of our charts) probably have a true "home"? Just me also sort of thinking out loud...

Maybe you're onto something. Actually, there are some very intuitive people here and it would save us a lot of time if they could look into this and say whether we are or not . I am going to post my aspects in the Starseeds thread, plus some choice interpretations by Taineberry which left me gawping.

I need to research Starseeds more. I have no idea what it's supposed to entail, what the characteristics and purpose of Starseeds might be. I have Leo Saturn and get embarrassed thinking of being anything special, but I am open to the idea that there are different kinds of people, and maybe I am special enough to have met them/ you.

Ava , I think we're sort of saying the same thing, just kind of like we're saying it in different languages, lol. I'm not an expert on the topic of Starseeds by any stretch. My husband is way more into this type of thing than I am (to the point that when we start talking about certain things, I have to just say "I'm open to what you're saying, but it's not my thing, so if I see more evidence of it, that's fine", things like that. He watches shows like Ancient Aliens religiously, reads The Law of One and references it regularly, and if a person wasn't "into" or open to concepts beyond what we understand, he would sound like a tinfoil hat guy. (And likewise when I talk about the work I do with the healer I see--I also probably sound like a raving weirdo to some people...which is why I don't discuss it with other people much). I actually bought him a coffee cup for Christmas with that guy with the whacked out hair from Ancient Aliens, lol. Anyway...what I meant to say before I started rambling... I think that the idea that Starseeds are unusual seems odd to me. Unusual maybe, but I personally have the thought that maybe not as uncommon as people seem to think? Like maybe there are many people who are Starseeds, but along the way some have just inadvertently accumulated more karma in their lifetimes than others? If that makes any sense. @astrokeen , you can move any of my comments about Starseeds as you see fit, as I'm not exactly focusing on Vedic asteroids here.

Ava, Well now I'm wondering if I attract people who have similar beliefs to my husband and I, or if it's just the area of the country we live in. I would say 99% of my real-life friends believe in the things that my husband and I believe in, maybe not as "into" it as we are, but everyone--from my friends to coworker friends in my real life, except for my actual blood relatives, lol--is very open to and interested in things like astrology, believe in ghosts, energy healing, etc. When I lived in the Midwest, everyone I encountered believed in ghosts. I mean, it's a really old area there, so it would probably be difficult NOT to believe in them. People were open to astrology, but not "into" any of it, particularly. Actually, my supervisor at the nursing home I worked at told me that she smudged her home every week. So...I don't know. Do I attract people who are into "esoteric" subjects?? The thought had never really occurred to me. But now as I think of it, when we moved back here to my redneck hometown, one of the first women I met and had a solid conversation with (besides my actual friends) also did energy work, and we talked about some pretty weird stuff with each other. She is a Scorpio with Cancer Moon, but was literally the first person here outside of my immediate friends and family I ended up having a conversation with and getting to know. So maybe I'm just attracted to THEM, I don't know. Even my good friends in high school were all interested in these subjects. Hm.

Eh... I mean, one of my husband's best friends (for decades) is the nephew of Carlos Casteneda, who wrote the Don Juan series. And my husband's step-mom goes to week-long retreats where they don't speak at all, my father in-law gives us handmade sage bundles as gifts, and knows how to build a sweat lodge. Double "Hmm". But that's not to say that I think we're unique in any way, I've just never really thought it unusual (and I still don't). I think you should move to the Pacific Northwest.

VioletsThat's fascinating and fantastic. I'm amazed that your husband's best friend is Casteneda's nephew! I was reading his work a few months ago. I've thought of moving out West. Actually I was so drawn to the Southwest that I spent years assuming I would end up there; I took Spanish in college, in preparation for it. I adore Santa Fe, Tucson, Sedona... I was afraid of becoming too weird, and decided not to pursue that. But I still feel like I belong there. Maybe it's my Scorpio NN, I had to get more comfortable with the occult, spiritual traditions, etc. I just tend to go overboard with whatever I do. And I could easily see how involvement with the spirit world could turn overwhelming for me. I guess I just wasn't ready for it. I wish I had been. I think the detour I took through Christianity was even stranger than crystals, aliens, and whatnot.

Ava, I also absolutely love the Southwest. Sooo much. Well, more like areas of Wyoming, Colorado, Arizona, and Utah. And I loved living in Montana. It's just extremely expensive there, almost as bad as the PNW, but with fewer job opportunities. But so unbelievably beautiful and the energy is so strong and positive! I lived in the mountains of Colorado for a few years as a kid, and it was a very spiritual time for me. Amazingly so. I would climb up on the rocks behind our house, and look over the little town we lived in, hoping not to run into any mountain lions, ha. I believe Casteneda must be my husband's friend's great uncle, by the age factor. We're friends, but I've never asked him about it specifically. I'll share some pictures I took of Wyoming and Utah, maybe. A few times in Wyoming, we pulled over so that I could climb up on the rocks and we could take a break from being in the car, and another time to pick some bundles of sage that were growing along a dirt road along the beautiful red rocks. Just thinking about it raises my spirits, thank you for reminding me of that.

You know what's weird... My best friend of 37 years just stopped by my house yesterday, and she wanted me to go out of town with her about an hour away to some sort of conference on past life regression, hypnotherapy, etc. I do these things with my healer, although not for the purpose of finding out about my past lives, just for the purpose of energy release and that sort of thing. But what she said, laughingly, was "I mean, you're the ONLY person I know who would go to this sort of thing with me!" It gave me reason to pause, really. Not all of my friends are interested in such things, but I would say most of them are, and if not my closest friends, friends I still keep in contact with from work and when I lived in the city, etc. Hmm. I thought the Neptune/NN thing was so broadly generational (which it is), but maybe mine is more prominent just because Neptune and my Nodes are at the apex of so many things? I don't know. Anyway... That's enough about that. I would like to find some Native American asteroids if I could... I'll start digging. Funny though, that same best friend's Atlantis is on my DNA, and her Asc is conjunct the GA. Well, okay. We all have cool stuff (and Ava , you got to travel to way more countries than I did, and even had the opportunity to go to school outside of the US, which my 9th house Chiron and Venus are very envious of --my husband developed a fear of flying soon after I met him, complete with full blown panic attacks, so I don't see traveling the world in my near future).

Violets "But what she said, laughingly, was 'I mean, you're the ONLY person I know who would go to this sort of thing with me!'" It seems you are more connected to other spiritual people, than many spiritual people are. edit ...Sorry this is so off topic! (I have the asteroid WANDERS conjunct my sun. I wander physically and conversationally!)
