Just went for a walk and found a robin's egg. It's so rare to find those, I can't remember the last time I saw one. When I hold it between my thumb and index finger it seems to throb and pulsate, like it's vibrating to my own pulse. I'm not used to feeling that -- plastic doesn't conduct vibration like that, nor any other object I can think of. It's a bit synchronistic to have my pulse amplified, as the transiting moon is conjunct my sun, highlighting the emotional component of my solar energy. Anyway I was wondering if there was a deeper meaning to finding this egg. If a robin's egg appeared in a dream, well the particulars become hugely important...this one is empty and found on the side of the road. Like, I am feeling empty and discarded? lol No...honestly totally enchanted by this natural color, and amazed it survived as intact as it is, considering all the meticulous landscaping in that neighborhood. And soon after I picked it up, I came upon some peonies, decided to smell them, and was catapulted unexpectedly to my early childhood and first home I lived in....the flower scent reminded me of that but I have no idea why. Overall, I suppose a topic like this might lean in towards the use of objects for spells, which I probably won't do, but I admit a serious curiosity anyway. Question is something like, what do you know of natural objects and any power they might have, that goes beyond the mundane?

Hmm... Can't say that I positively know of any such objects.. Beyond my own superstitions, that is.
For me, they've often either evoked or created memories.
I believe these could be highly personal. For instance, the ones that connect to you may not necessarily connect to others, and vice-versa. So their 'power', inasmuch as you decide to use it, would be uniquely yours. Flavoured by your experience and your connection to it. They listen to us as much as we listen to them, perhaps more... If there is such a thing as a bond between the object and its human (I believe there is, but it sounds kooky so I'm leaving that open to doubt) - the object itself has a say in it too. You know how, some really ratty car that people swore up and down would never last, somehow works brilliantly for you? Or that brand new food processor you bought just gives up on the first day, $$$ down the drain. Freak coincidences, perhaps. And/or they might have other causes. But that's the sort of thing I'm talking about. Things, animals, flowers and bushes, might have their own type of relationship with you...
So maybe the way to find out is to explore the ones that vibe well with you.. See what they bring?
...spitballin' here.

Interesting I had the impression that you found that egg as a reminder. Something like: Don't forget your roots. There is always hope.
Me personal impression when I saw your question was: Your father sent you this egg, but he is not on this earth any more. (<-- I hope I am wrong here)
May I ask: Did you loose someone close to you recently and you were thinking of this person?
Apart from that is my personal opinion that objects that are found like do have an personal meaning and could not be found in the internet.

How strange whisperix, I just decided to come here and talk about this, and you just posted! Thank you for your insights, I value them, I know you've done so much dream interpretation over the years. Hmm, I think you are completely right! It was strange, when I first saw the egg, I thought it was a plastic ball. And I thought, "But really, when do you see plastic balls just sitting by the side of the road like that? It doesn't make sense." And of course, then I learned it was an egg. The next day, however, there were plastic balls ALL along the main road I'm always traveling on, like someone was leaking these balls out of the back of their truck and they rolled over to the side. So yeah, I thought "HUH? Is someone listening to my mind?" lol Then I had some kind of dream about a baby which I forget, but I was relieved to wake up and know I'm not pregnant. That day (yesterday) there were two baby squirrels huddled in front of our garage, I never saw anything like it, I suppose their mother died, and they were too young to know what to do. I didn't know how to save them, and they wandered off on their own, and hopefully could eat. Then today I was at a public aquarium near my hometown and we (my family) watched a video about penguins and how they get their eggs to hatch. For a moment I thought, "Is life always so fixated on babies, eggs, balls that look like eggs....?" I knew it was just a wild thought. But being in my native area was so intoxicating, wonderful, relieving an ache I didn't even know I had. I always forget how homesick I am until I return there, and my early life comes back to me. Oh I do hope my father (deceased) had something to do with everything...the events and the way I try and find meaning in them. I definitely have been thinking of my origins more, as well as that concept of that energetic golden egg of protection. Hope this makes sense. Thanks for that cute gif, too.

Things, animals, flowers and bushes, might have their own type of relationship with you... Yes yes. Well I am enchanted with the animist view of reality and hope it's correct...that the universe in ensouled, inanimate objects have a form of sentience, energy is reciprocal between ourselves and the things around us. So, what's that called, telemetry? Our stuff becomes like a battery holding our vibes and life stories? And then why wouldn't rocks hold the vibes and story of the whole forest they've sat in for hundreds of years? And what might that forest-power do, in another environment? And you know, water also "listens"....... Anyway, just laying out the puzzle pieces and hoping my point is coming through, even though it's too late for me to be up typing. I met a girl in college who told me her friend did real love spells using acorns or something. This was girl was so spooked by her friend's witch power, it was an obvious and sincere fear of the occult, and reverence for it. And with me being impressionable, I absorbed some of her energy there, and never lost it...always believing spells are real. So I think WHY do you gather all these natural ingredients to make certain spells? Is that symbolism or actual power in the objects? Or just make-believe that I've fallen for? lol Well goodnight

It is the chicken and egg conundrum. I believe that natural objects have an attached meaning/energy, which may indeed have been created by the collective mind. Therefore, not innate but imposed. Think of 1000s of people believing something has a meaning and that energy is, therefore, created. If you found the egg Ava, you only have to refer to the previously established significance of an egg to discover its message. Or your intuition may suggest one to you. Synchronicity happens all the time. I was feeling rather lost the other day and I happened to be in a local shop and began speaking to the shop keeper in an Asian language common to both India and Pakistan. Just then an old Pakistani gentlemen with a long white beard smiled at me and said, "Oh, this is my child", meaning she is one of us. He laid his palm on my head as if in a blessing (I later explained I wasn't Pakistani but that didn't spoil the moment). The words touched me deeply and echoed in my mind throughout the day. Here it was - the universe telling me I was cared for.

I have felt messages being conveyed to me by animals. In fact, once, a tiger. I was on a safari and a tiger appeared out of the jungle and stood still, right by my side of the jeep - about 5 feet away. I felt strongly that this was a blessing/connection of some kind. Funnily enough, the guide explained that this was a very rare sighting as that particular tigress did not belong in that area. I wondered aloud what had brought her here and another passenger responded "She did it for you", which I thought was weird.

Wonderful, amazing, beautiful stories, @astrokeen. Thank you!

Yes, apparently we collectively invest meaning in objects, and they keep reflecting those back to us.
Though I've thought, maybe the archetypes are evident in objects (?) and earlier people responded to them and started investing that focus in them. Though I'm not sure what I can include with archetypes...are numbers archetypes? Like the number of sides on a crystal? Are death and rebirth archetypes? Or maybe "elemental forces" is more accurate to say.
I love that you speak this other language and were blessed by an old man. Nothing like that has ever happened to me and I think the experience would be so healing.
The tiger story is also magnificent. What a life you've lived!!
I wonder what it means to be addressed by a tiger. My guess is, it recognized you as someone relatively fearless, but scrupulous, like one of its own.

Ava , thank you! I felt the tigress was a goddess energy. She was allowing herself to be seen and acknowledging me as one of her own. So nice! Perhaps it was an intimation of my yet to be discovered interest in the environment and preservation of nature.

I too wonder what it really is... Are the people who cast spells channelling the object's own energy because it is compatible with theirs and therefore 'responsive' to them? -- That's how I thought it worked, if it did...
Well, I had a friend who would tell me to make 'wishes' like that. Not with objects though... She told me to pick an element. And whenever you're in physical contact with that element, make the wish. With full intent and sincerity, of course.
And 'elements' were more than just the four... I think she allowed for certain 'materials' instead of elements themselves.
We were in middle school and believed it wholeheartedly. Even now, I sometimes catch myself 'making wishes' the way she showed me.
P.S. "Our stuff becomes like a battery holding our vibes and life stories? And then why wouldn't rocks hold the vibes and story of the whole forest they've sat in for hundreds of years? And what might that forest-power do, in another environment?" -- Yeah.."if those rocks could talk, what stories would they tell!"

I've had that happen in dreams, mostly (animals conveying messages).

I remembered I had taken a picture of the tigress who later sat in the track for about 15 minutes looking very proud, gracious and beautiful (on the right). Her 2 year old son came by and joined her.

Damn, that is *close*! So cool that you were able to get a great picture. And they happen to be facing you! (This part is usually a pain when I try to capture quick-moving animals. On camera, people, on camera.)
